Ok, I know I just made the "Christmas Card Swap" thread but this is different (... I've now got Christmas fever since it snowed for the first time today and the Christmas lights got switched on in my town).  Anyone who can make a banner - it doesn't matter how simple or creative they are - can join in. What will happen is: people can join in by replying to this thread saying they want to and I will add their name to the list. You can add your name until the 1st of December. I will then - somehow randomly - work out who will be whose "secret santa" and I will PM each person to let them know. The gift you will be making is a banner (max. size 500x200) and an avatar to go with it (if you wish to anyway). Once you know who you're making it for, you should then have an idea what type of things they like  - it doesn't have to be Charmed or christmas related if you don't want it to be. You should also write on the banner "From (your name)" so they can show it off to other people  .... Once made, we could all send the banners and avatars to our person in the week before Christmas (so you would have about 2 weeks to make the graphics) and display them over Christmas. Let me know what you think. |

I really want to join but I cannot because I have never mean never attempted to make a banner although if I get photoshop will I be able to use that and make a banner.

Alysha - Thankyou! The idea just came to me when I was thinking about making a christmas-y Charmed sig! Alyssa24 - Of course you will be able to use Photoshop - you could use Paint if you wanted to! Let me know what you think. I would love to take part. I also have a suggestion if it's not too late. At a Disney forum I am a member with a secret santa banner activity was also held, and to make sure we knew what our receiver liked we each had to fill out a small form when we signed up to participate which asked things like our favorite Disney Characters and movies etc...and when we were given our person through PM we were also given their form. So I think that may help here as well just to ensure that we are giving our receiver something they will like. Or since it's a little late to create a form maybe when you sign up give us a briefing on your Charmed likes...and maybe non-Charmed too depending on if that is being included. **** So some of mine are obvious from my profile theme. I love Piper and Leo(but not his elder/avatar days), and Phoebe and Cole. I also enjoy Prue. |

^ I like your idea of giving a mini-questionnaire out but since it's almost December, I think this year people could just do like you have and say a little about what they like to do with Charmed and also non-Charmed.
