In "That 70s Episode", Nicholas said the following to the Halliwell sisters:
"You see, twenty-four years ago today, your mother and I made a pact. To spare her life, she gave up your future powers to me. She blessed this ring. Which gave me immunity from your powers. (Piper tries to freeze him.) Immunity so that I could kill you and take the powers on for my own. To become invincible."
Considering that the Halliwells are not always invincible with their powers - together or apart - what on earth made Nicholas believe that he was invincible with their powers? He could have killed a several demons and be just as powerful.

The reason everyone including Nicolas wanted the charmed ones powers was because all 3 together created a really strong `team`of powers, when most demons only had one type of power.

Even together, they are not powerful enough to make anyone invincible. They're not. Why on earth did Brad Kern and Constance Burge tried to brainwash the viewers with this stupid idea that the Halliwells were the most powerful beings on earth . . . at least until Wyatt's birth. Just thinking about it makes me wonder why I had wasted over four years watching this show. Why do these supernatural shows have to make the main characters "the most powerful" or "nearly invincible"? Does every supernatural character have to be some damn version of Superman? Geez! Nicholas could have killed a number of demons and ended up more powerful than the Charmed Ones. They . . . are . . . mortals. The idea of them being more powerful than demons MAKE NO SENSE whatsoever.

I am pretty sure it is just cocky demon talk.
I don't recall them calling Buffy "the most powerful" or "invincible".

Well by S7, it was true about Willow. She absorbed so much magic, she was basically part of it.
And I dont mind them having Nicolas think that gaining the Charmed powers would make him invinciable (which it probably would have if he knew how to use the powers correctly) since whose to say that he was that smart? he was powerhungry.

The difference between Willow and TCO/Buffy is that the latter had gotten their powers since birth. Willow trained to use magic and grew more powerful as the series progressed. I don't see a problem with her being "the most powerful" because she trained, but I do see your point about being "invincible" because they were born that way.

The only character on that show who came close to being invincible was post-Season 4 Cole. Perhaps Wyatt, but I'm not sure about him. But certainly NOT the Charmed Ones. The Source could have killed all three of them if he had put his mind to it. After all, the Power of Three wasn't strong enough to kill him. They had to summon the spirits of their ancestors, along with the Power of Three to do the job.

Cole was mainly invulnerable he could not be destroyed but he could be won even Superman is invulnerable, but not invincible Nicholas's is mainly a proclamation and we do not know how many powers he had accumulated maybe he thought he'ld be invulnerable but nobody is invincible

I agree with you that they shouldn't have been called invincible, because it's proven that the most certainly were not.
