As more time passes and more shows pop up, drawing people away, I think it's natural to expect the activity to go down.

I'm just glad that there's still active people here.

And, of course, the fact that Prue's Hangman in her club is the most popular thread just makes me smile.

I also know that there are some sites who are jealous of the Cafe and put us down, trying to make us seem like terrible people, even when in a lot of cases, that's a matter of the pot calling the kettle black.

I always try to defend the Cafe, but I think that also has its effects.

Hmm, this is one of the most active Charmed sites, I've seen to be honest.

I don't expect it to be as active as current TV series' board, but there's at least some type of post on here daily which is awesome.

It may not draw in a lot of new people and usually it's word of mouth that gets people here. I'd have never heard of it if it hadn't been for Es (thank you!).

Anyway, I like the fact that it's a close-knit board. It may be the same people but there's still some good discussions, everyone has their own opinion and it's great for debates. More people would be nice but it's not like it's completely dead

I've been thinking about this and as I've mentioned in other threads, I can't help wondering if part of the reason why we no longer have as much activity is me. I've proven to so many newbies that their favorite characters, Piper and Chris, were actually horrible characters - selfish, self-centered woman who was a horrible leader, horrible wife, horrible sister and horrible mother along with her selfish, self-centered, lying, whining murderer of a son - both great ideas done horribly by Kern - and the newbies leave.

It's often why I've wondered if I'm the one who should leave, or at least just stay in Prue's Fan Club.

I'm definitely one of those people that used to be super active, but rarely come on here (and yes, even then I typically only go to the Prue's Fan Club Hangman Game ). But I think it is important to consider the fact that people, like myself, get really busy. Sometimes real life takes over and you can't spend as much time on here as you would like. And like other people have mentioned, it's not completely dead so at least we should be thankful for that.

From what I an tell, I think Aretha ended new regristrations. And I can't do anything about that, from what I can see. So that explains that.

Every now and then I visit some of the other Charmed sites that I used to belong to...for the most part very little is happening or they just seem to have vanished. It looks to me like the Cafe is the most active...soooo, that says something.

Es...I like what you have to say and if all fans want is to have everyone in agreement well, sounds dull to me. You have made me rethink my position on a number of issues, Grams being one of them. Without your in-put I would not have examined some of the facts.

Of all of the shows out there I think Charmed has created the most sites and lasted the longest. I think that is very special.

I was wondering about members that are still active but not chatting. Why not try to contact them. You know, just a little greeting to see how they are, what they have been up to and hay, how about stopping in for a snack every now and them. People like to be remembered and a little hello can't hurt.

Anyway, I might go away for a spell but as long as the Cafe is up and running I will always stop by.

When was new registrations ended? And you can actually do that? I only joined last year (after a year of deciding whether I can add another board to my list) so it must have been during that time but I didn't think you could do that.

But yes, RL really does get in the way. I hate it when it happens to me, but like Ghost-Rider said, at least I know I can come back to this board and there is a discussion going on somewhere, unlike a few other boards that I'm a member of.

Charmed cafè is as a real cafè someone comes here every morning and talks someone looks at it in hurry someone stops time by time
Today I went jumping because I put my ankle out skating so I have time to talk, this is a place in which it's nice to talk unlike other sites where dissent is forbidden
I don't think that you are a problem Es, I love both Chris and Piper it's not a problem if you don't: I grew in the valley of Valais where people think that everyone is free to choose the tree where hitch up so I have a different way of seeing things than yours, more soft, but I like your strict point of view even if I disagree
But I think that your violent language'ld scare a newbie and sometimes you use unfathomable short form: what is TPoPPPP's?
Charmed closed five years ago but it's still watched by thousands of people who may discover it for the first time and then they discover that there is a place where people love to talk about a world that more or less has fascinated all of us

wooow haven't been here for a while... been sooo extremely busy...
Started a new study that is about computers... which is not easy for a girl sometimes.. I do Photography in a professional way now..
and I started with hosting my own website about a book series... I still love forums... I still do... That's why I started a new website
but these days... thngs have changed in my life.. and so on everybody's live... Guess I thought I should let you hear something back from me... since the last time I was on here... well... it's been a while...


Ohh and a good thing because I visited forums in the past... I am now one of the best students in English and my Teacher told me i should get a higher class as in on another level of english the highest they can offer me.. because my speaking and writting is as good as a higher student!

I think ericamarie has a very good point, it really is like a real cafe. I know I only stop by and browse through from time to time because I have no time at all. If I'm not working on my own writing, then I'm working! I get a little time to myself when I can come on here and chat but not a lot.

Oh, and Simymona, I did a computing degree and no it definitely isn't as easy as you would think. If you have any questions about anything, pm them to me and I'll try and answer them for you; any questions about Java and web development are my strongest areas.
