Well, they wouldn't be the only ones. There'd be other good creatures who could finally "come clean" to the mortal world and share in that burden. Plus, if evil magic was exposed too, witches wouldn't have to be so subversive about vanquishing evil when it attacked.
Um, when have they ever lived a "normal life"? (post-SWTWC, that is)
Nah, Piper would just threaten to turn the Homeland Security agents into frogs, and they'd back off. ;D
As for the Elders, I imagine they'd still try to take advantage of the Charmed Ones' services; but with the escalated chaos, the Elders would probably have their hands full with all kinds of other new dilemmas.

I agree. Piper was never perfect to me. She never pretended that she was perfect. Which is why I found her to be more realistic and grounded than Phoebe or Paige.

Oh, whitelightertony, the sisters do manage to carve out a semblance of normality at times. Demons don't attack all of the time. Yet, that "normality", however tenuous, would be a luxury they could never explore or enjoy in a world where their magic was out in the open. And, even if the Agent Murphys of the world were turned into toads, this would not solve the basic Charmed dilemma. Homeland Security would just send more!

Why would Piper need to look after Phoebe and Paige? Because she became the oldest? Who would look after her? Considering her personality, I think she needed looked after just as much as the other two. And if I must be honest, I don't think that Piper was as much of an effective leader as Prue. Especially when you consider some of the actions made by the sisters, following Prue's death.

Okay, Piper was mean on some days. Only because she had so much to worry about. Before Prue died she was mean because she like the others couldn't live a normal life but couldn't live without helping others and getting rid of demons. After prue died she was just full of hate and always mean because she didn't wanna get all happy go lucky and lose it all in the blink of an eye. And as you say (Freebie) She's a woman, not a nun. And Prue was never a slut. She was the one who was all work and no play. |

Are you kidding me , Piper was the best god damn thing on charmed. She was beautiful , genourous , nice and yeah she did cry a lot but for good reasons. It wouldnt be charmed without Piper she made this show.
Im sorry im a really big Piper Halliwell / Holly Marie Combs fan as you can see.

Even though I liked Piper, I agree with most of the negative comments about her. She did force Leo to change, she did nag too much, she did contridict her own rules (aka the use of personal gain), she whined too much etc... but at the same time, it is why alot of people (including myself) liked her. Holly Marie Combs is awesome, so even though Kern butchered her character (as he did with Phoebe, Paige, Leo and Cole) she was still amazing, Holly churned out some awesomely classic performances over the shows eight year run.

I think every Charmed fan loves Piper.
But we all know she isn't perfect and has character flaws. Just like everyone else.
The only thing that bothers me about Piper is sometimes she can be a little unfriendly to innocents and to any character, and sometimes is a bit misjudgmental.
