Yeah from rewatching season 6 and season 7, it definitely becoming clear to me that I've colored certain seasons in far more positive lights by being very selective about which bits I choose to rewatch. Think my brain did me a huge favor by repressing the worst parts. Yeah, that's not surprising. All seasons had their bad parts. The bad just outnumbered the good later on. (With Seasons 5 and 8 being the worst examples.) Doing my "Your Perfect Season" list, I think I've started to realize why many fans really love Seasons 3 and 4 the best--They were the only two seasons that had really strong starts. Even my two favorite seasons, Seasons 1 and 2, had some awful episodes early on (like "The Wedding from Hell" and "She's a Man, Baby, a Man"), while I find myself enjoying most of Season 3 and 4's early episodes, even the ones most fans usually don't hold up as "great" (like "Once Upon a Time" and "Size Matters"). How a Season starts off can color the entire season for many people, both good and bad. However, the big difference between Seasons 1 and 2 and Seasons 3 and 4 for me is that while 1 and 2 had slower starts, they became excellent by the middle and end, while 3 and 4 started to peter out and suffer from arc fatigue. This actually is particularly true for Season 3, which was dragged down by that boring, rubbish Demon Brotherhood arc at the very end of the season. (Which was undoubtedly leading towards a future storyline that was scrapped when Shannen was fired, thank goodness!)

I think S6 is also underrated. Hence, with Chris storyline could have done much more than we'd seen it on TV, just look at the rating for "Chris Crossed"! It's clear, S1-3 were good and all but we can't underestimate the later ones (except S8, maybe - ).

Season 2 is actually my favourite because of the quality standalones like Morality Bites and Awakened. The sisters were better versed with the supernatural, yet they weren't to the point where the individual demons/warlocks/entities in general couldn't pose a threat, where they were still vulnerable, and there was still more to learn for them. They also grew both as people and witches through their experiences in some of those episodes. It also provided the first glimpse into the hierarchy of evil with Litvack and the Infernal Council (a group that was never referenced or seen again after the S2 finale for whatever reason). Plus, to me, it always felt like a sort of middle ground between the beginning and end of Prue's character. I had this sense of security knowing that it wasn't quite the end of her character because there's still one season following it with her.
Anything post-S4 is largely unfavourable for me and even with S4 itself I still don't feel too thrilled about it.

Season 2, the only part I hated was Leo/Piper/Dan story. But the rest were great.
I think apart from Piper in the relationship aspect, the sisters were all at their best this season. I loved alot of the episodes, even though season 1 is still my favourite, season 2 is a close second.
