Based on my earlier poll, but wondering about just Season Three now.
What was your reaction towards Season Three the first time you watched it and what is your reaction now? Just choose one choice.

My favorite season, just slightly above Season Six, of the entire series. I can always just sit back and relax while watching Sin Francisco over and over again, and I love watching the episodes leading up to Cole's exposure.
Top favorite episodes: The Honeymoon's Over, All Halliwell's Eve, Power Outage, Sleuthing with the Enemy, Blinded by the Whitelighter, Bride and Gloom, Just Harried, Pre Witched... Okay let's just say all the episodes are my top faves.
Seriously, this season is my everything.

I'll never stop to love season 3
My favorite is All Halliwell's Eve - a lot of magic, no powers, good for me- and if I want to relax, The Good, The Bad, And The Cursed and Sin Francisco are perfect
All Hell Breaks Loose.....we'ld talk over and over about it, because the episode is full of ideas and possibilities

Although I really liked season 1 this time around, I think season 3 will always be first place. Even if I don't like certain things that happen and if I feel like it started to stray from its original premise a bit, I think it's one of the best quality seasons there is. They really found a rhythm here that worked, if that makes sense. Even if you don't like the stories so much, everything about the way it was put together just clicked. If I was introducing someone to the show, I'd start with this season.

And as usual, I'm the opposite. Although I really loved this season the first time I watched it, the more I watch it, the more I don't. Had this series ended after "All Hell Breaks Loose" as I feel it should've, I would love it, just like I'd love Season Two.
But as is...
Just like Piper in S2, for me this is the start of the change in the sisters into the ones shown in my signature and I hate seeing it happen. Prue is suddenly turning into SuperWitch and her pride (which we never saw before this season) spoils Piper's wedding (preventing me from loving 'Just Harried" )and gets her killed (preventing me from loving "All Hell Breaks Loose"). Piper gets her explosion power which will turn her into the Power of One. And Phoebe puts Cole in front of her sisters, what should've stopped them from being the Charmed Ones right then. My favorite sister, Phoebs, is dead and in her place is my least-favorite sister, PhoeME. It's the beginning of no longer having a sister I like and admire and who I want to see do well - Paige saves that next season and Piper in S5 (not counting 'Oh, My Goddess!', since I always count that as part of S6) and Paige in S8.
And the reason why I dislike the sisters so much (and that dislike turns into hate for Piper and Phoebe before the series is over) is because I loved Prue so much from late S1 through early S3 - up to the wedding - and because I loved Piper so much in S1 and because I loved my Phoebs so much before "Sleuthing with the Enemy", one of my least-favorite episodes.
I don't hate this season the way I hate others, nor do I dislike it - "Once Upon a Time", "All Halliwell's Eve", "Sight Unseen", "Primrose Empath", "Power Outage", "Coyote Piper", "The Good, the Bad and the Cursed", "PreWitched" and "Sin Francisco" prevents that - but like S2, now I just like it.

Well for me, season 3 as a Piper/Leo fan will always be special because they get married and my favorite of the season is Just Harried - only I did not like the Prue storyline in that episode. *sigh* But I have to be honest and say I was not happy with Phoebe and what happened to her after Sleuthing with the Enemy. Piper getting her explosion power I hated. Oh man, that was the worst. But so many good episodes and yes it is still enjoyable to me. I need to have another rewatch - since I only did rewatched select episodes quite a while ago.

I don't hate this season dears, as I do some of the other seasons. But this is the season Phoebe's character went from loving her to disliking her. Not that I didn't have many great episodes I really loved and I can still find some enjoyment in this season, just not as much as season 1 and 2. Voted loved it now like it.

I'll always love Seasons 1 - 4 and the last half of Season 7 and some of the beginning of Season 5.
Season 3, specifically Power Outage is where I think the show peaked.
Still Love Season 3!

I used to find it kinda dull and thrown together as I didn't like subplots as much as the other seasons. I didnt find Prue's toothache or even the clothes they found interesting.
But it was the most consistent and I enjoy it as Charmed at it's hight. I wish that season four could keep that momentum as the show isn't the same after this.

My 2nd fave because Prue starts getting annoying but the acting, writing and directing is on form. Season 4 will always be my favourite even though the original line up of sisters is my preferred.

Phoebe and Cole's relationship kind of derailed attention from Piper and Leo's. Plus, I didn't care for Phoebe gaining the power of Levitation. Those are my only dislikes. Season 3 is awesome.

As a fan of Phoebe. This season upset me for her character. I still enjoy some episodes and it is watchable. Loved it now like it.
I really wished the Cole story was one season only.

Prue was starting to show her ugly this season. That in a way her dying was a good thing as a Prue fan.

I wish he appeared as a reoccurring guest star after Sleuthing for a couple of episodes now and then But by Coyote Piper, Phoebe has already told her sisters that she lied to them, because Phoebe can't keep a secret. And Phoebe was the free spirit and Cole killed that.

Actually It was Wrestling with Demons she told them. Leo was told an episode earlier if memory serves. He really did kill her free spirit.

Also, I wonder what the storyline would be if Cole's storyline stopped or was 'guest appearance'd post Sleuthing....?
Would Phoebe still be Fun Phoebe?
Would the series focus on Piper and Leo more?
Its almost like they couldn't really go on exploring the existing sisterhood and it makes sense that a 4th sister came along in Season 4.

I think how their serious romantic partners were put into the story is what pushed sisterhood focus permanently to the side. It wasn't that they shouldn't have had relationships, but that those relationships got in the way and changed the sisters.
I think Leo was introduced too soon, and he and Piper's relationship got serious too soon as well, but there were plenty of times when he fit in well with the sisters and they were still close and the focus of the show. The same was true with Cole, but on a lesser scale. Phoebe changed permanently after he came into her life, and there seemed to be no going back from that. But there were a few episodes where he fit nicely into the story and the sisters were still the focus.
Overall I think they let the sisters' romantic partners have too much of an influence on the show, whether they were present or not. They needed more time to just be sisters and new witches without anyone else around. Then Leo and Cole could have been introduced later in the show and much slower. I don't mind those two being supporting main characters, but only as long as "supporting" is the main idea.
