They're making those clicky sounds with their mouths? I thought sound was put over later. But poor Brian can't make the clicky noise Love this! I wonder if Shannen's accidentally responsible for giving Kern ideas to include the scene where Leo tells Piper she can freeze him in bed for her own personal pleasure but Natalie is off limits. Also after watching so many shots of the same scene, that outfit Prue is wearing does not flatter her figure. I also thought Piper changed in season 4, but her season 4 personality is here in full affect. I'm also surprised Prue didn't see herself in Natalie and tried to empathize. She used to be uptight and judgmental too when Phoebe broke any rules. Piper and Prue are coming across as snotty teenagers they way they're treating Natalie. With so much grief and drama over the probation, I'm tempted to see the Elders end the probation on Piper and Leo marrying after fifty years.

I love this episode, but they do take the sisters' personalities a bit far in the wrong direction here. Phoebe's too wrapped up in her own problems, Piper's too snippy, and Prue's too rebellious. It would have been cool if they had retained some of their season 1 personalities with Phoebe being more immature but present and focused on helping, Piper being polite while also a bit sarcastic, and Prue identifying with Natalie and her position while also butting heads with her because she herself likes to be in charge. I love how they don't get along with her and they're all taking shots at each other, but it could have been done without the sisters acting like bratty kids.

As were currently rewatching S1 aa a board. I'm so in love with the sisters. I'll be noticing the changes to them as we get S3.
Although this episode has many issues in iy. I loved Natalie and too bad they didn't have her take over from Leo with him being taken away more than just returned at the end of the next one.
Also hated that they let them marry only after they saved the Elders.

Not an F, thanks to Natalie, but an F thanks to actually seeing the Elders and living people being able to go up there. It makes death so ho-hum and takes away the drama. The Elders only letting Piper and Leo marry because they saved the Elders' asses was the first indication that whatever the Elders were, they weren't angels and Elderland was *not* Heaven any more than the Underworld was Hell.

So very true Es, I'll be interested to see how I feel about it when we get to it in our re-watch. But it is one of my least liked episodes in S3, I didn't like many things in this one. But Natalie is the highlight for sure in this one. Exactly. No doubt, Kern's Elders and not the Founders or they as we had during the Connie era of Classic Charmed. This was the first episode in the series to name them 'Elders'. Yeah, this episode goes next to Sleuthing' another example of an episode that would ruin the series moving forward. If only the Elders or otherwise the Founders stayed in S1 with Leo where they belonged.

Don't like this one, and still, I love the way they did it in 'Secrets and Guys' so I like the Founders, not the Elders. And whitelighters were truly angels in that one, not how they turned out to be later on.
How on earth did Leo get powers to harm others, and S7 just made the Elders even worse? They had powers to try and kill Leo, 'Ordinary Witches' is one of the worst of S7. Seriously. Honestly, Leo should have turned into say a darklighter or something. They were more demonic than ever.

I guess they thought the Charmed Ones were getting too goody-two-shoes, which is hilarious because I think Good Wyatt truly was - so sweet he made my teeth ache!
But if they thought that about the Charmed Ones they shouldn't have gone so far the other direction. I agree that it seemed that Leo was turning into a darklighter and the Charmed Ones were warlocks, not witches!

But Good Wyatt was just too sweet for my taste, and no offense to the actor, but it felt way too forced to me.
Exactly. S6-S8 all of them we so far gone. I'm surprised that Alyssa and Holly didn't notice or care enough about their characters when they were producers. The writing was pretty inconsistent.

After Holly and Alyssa became producers they tended to play their real-life selves more rather than their characters I thought.

Also hated that they let them marry only after they saved the Elders. If Elders need to be saved by witches like innocents, then to me that indicates Charmed Ones are more powerful than them and should be ordering them around instead. Also how is it that All-Wise beings who saw Phoebe's future after the dog poop incident, were totally clueless about a warlock's plan when he had been killing witches and collecting their powers for ten years?? And how is it they have no security Up There? Anyone can just acquire whitelighter powers orb up and kill them. It's laughable that human beings have better security than these supposed ancient beings. And even after the Eames incident yet again Elders didn't learn their lesson and update their crappy magical security and the Titans orbed up and killed them. Oh but best part? Unlike Eames, the Elders knew Titans were coming to kill them. If I had to award points of stupidity then Elders win all of them. Oh and almost forgot. Elders had this unspeakable wrath and breaking bodies into a million pieces thing going on. And yet Eames is somehow difficult to tear apart? If whitelighter's weaknesses affected him like darklighter arrow, shouldn't the Elders be able to forcibly orb him, trap him break him into pieces too? Not really need the Charmed Ones help at all?

Yeah, I hate when shows do that. Since I'd hardly say they are acting if they are not playing true to their characters and they act and influence the story too much by their real-life.

Hehehe! Cyma, all of this makes so much sense. I so got a kick out of how very right you were on every point you made. All part of why I so very much hated that we saw the Elders and Up There. They were such a joke. After currently rewatching S1 in our board re-watch. I truly would have liked them to never be introduced, or what we saw and learned of the Elders known as the Founders in 'Secrets and Guys' was all we heard, and we never got any more than this, and never saw Up There or any Elder in the flesh period.
