*I wrote these stories a long time ago and i never got to finish them. This was before we found out that chris was in fact the younger son. In my stories set in this future, Chris is in no way related to the charmed ones at all. so i hope you enjoy it* ******* Prologue
Prologue
“Oh my God, Paige!” Phoebe cried as she knelt down beside her sister who lay sprawled out on the ground. Paige was not moving, the color had been drained from her body and she was cold to the touch. Her face was extremely pale and her lips were a blue-purple color. “Leo!” Phoebe yelled out. She glanced down at her sister, “You’ll be alright,” she said nervously, stroking Paige’s hair. Leo did not appear. “Leo!” Phoebe yelled louder than before Leo orbed into the attic.
“What happened?” he asked as he ran over to them.
“One of the titans attacked…she knocked me out and when I woke I-I found Paige…” her voice trailed off as she glanced at Paige then her brother-in-law. “What’s going on? Why isn’t it working?”
The gold light from Leo’s hands shone brightly above Paige’s chest, but nothing seemed to happen. Leo slowly removed his hands and looked at Phoebe, she shook her head violently.
“No, no…you didn’t try hard enough Leo, you-”
“She’s”
“No!” Phoebe yelled stubbornly and firmly. She pushed Leo out of the way; she pinched Paige’s nose and tilted her head back and breathed into Paige’s mouth.
Phoebe placed her cheek near to her sister’s face to feel for signs of breathing; there were none. Phoebe gave her sister five chest compressions and breathed into her mouth again. Phoebe continued on in vain with the CPR.
“Phoebe,” Leo said quietly, his eyes were glossy. Phoebe ignored him. Leo finally forced her away, “Paige is-”
“Let go of me!” Phoebe yelled, her eyes filling with tears, “I have to save her. I have to save her.”
“Phoebe listen to me,” Leo said trying to stay calm, “she’s dead.”
Phoebe was now hitting Leo and squirming to get out of his grasp. “No, she can’t…she can’t.” Her body was numb, her sight impaired by the tears.
Piper entered the attic and noticed Leo comforting Phoebe. “Hey, what’s going on?” she asked concerned by the expressions on her husband and sister’s faces. Phoebe sniffed and looked at her sister, “Paige,” she began but broke down into tears again.
“What about Paige? Leo what’s going on?” she asked approaching them. She needn’t any of them to tell her because she saw it; there on the ground lay the lifeless body of her other younger sister.
“Piper?” Leo said.
Piper was staring at the body, she didn’t blink, and she wouldn’t let herself blink. It seemed like she was in a dream, the world around her faded away, it was only her and Paige. ‘This is a dream,’ a voice inside her said, ‘that’s all it is, a dream…a really bad dream.’ She still had not blinked, her eyes burned but she didn’t care. She felt a hand on her shoulder, “Piper” a voice said, it was distant and echoed. “Piper,” the voice was now clear and close; the hand was still on her shoulder. Tears streamed down her cheeks; Piper put her hands to her face, her body trembled as she cried.
Wyatt could be heard crying from his crib in the nursery. Piper walked over to him, along with Leo, and picked him up. She hugged her son and kissed him gently on the forehead, her heart was still aching.
“Shh…Wyatt, shh,” Piper said in the most soothing voice she could muster up.
Phoebe came in shortly afterwards, “She’s…I-I placed a blanket over her.” Phoebe’s mascara ran down her cheeks but she didn’t bother to wipe away the black ink. Piper nodded but didn’t say anything; she continued her best to quiet down Wyatt. No one said anything for quite a while.
Leo finally broke the mournful silence, “The titans-”
Piper cut her husband off, “We’re not going to talk about them,” she said firmly and angrily.
“We have to,” Leo continued, “Paige was the third whitelighter, which means that -”
Suddenly sirens went could be heard.
Phoebe glanced at Leo and Piper, “This isn’t good, those are the cities sirens.”
“But they only use those in times of war or-” Piper quickly left the nursery; Leo and Phoebe hurried after her.
Outside the neighbors had gathered on the street and looked about confused. The sirens were still wailing loudly.
“What’s going on?” Phoebe asked. A man said that they were under attack; another said that there was a massive tsunami on the way.
Piper looked around, scared and confused expressions on the peoples’ faces could be seen. Some were even packing their families and some necessities into their cars and leaving. Suddenly a silence fell over the people and a shadow formed. Everyone looked up toward the sky; black was covering the sun, everything was becoming dark. The shadow swept over the peoples’ faces, the air dropped in temperature.
“The Titans,” Piper said. **

The Great War was fought, the war between all of magic against the three powerful Titans. Both good and evil magics joined forces to put end of the reign of the Titans. Many people’s lives were lost, great cities were destroyed; magic was exposed to the mortal world. Darkness and chaos struck the world for three long years, until one day when both good and evil tipped the magic scale and joined their powers as one to vanquish the titans. The world was silent, a joyful silent spread throughout the lands. The cleaners erased the minds of mortals of all magics that had been exposed but kept in their memories the beginning of the reign of titans to their fall. Good and Evil pulled away from each other and balanced the magic scale once again.
The power of three had been destroyed, but the sisters stuck together through it all, along with their whitelighter. Piper and Leo kept their marriage alive and raised their son Wyatt up to know all about the forces of good and bad, but also raised him to live as much of a normal life as was possible. His powers proved strong and ranged from telekinesis to astral projection, to orbing and to the ability to heal. As he grew older he began to question whether he was meant to be on the side of good or evil since he was scared of what he could do along with his family. On his 18th birthday, Piper and Leo presented him with sword of Excalibur, he acknowledged what it meant to have it but did not accept it as his being destined to use it.
Phoebe married Jason during the first year of the Great War and two years later had a daughter whom she named Evie. Marriage was hard on both her and Jason, he feared for her life and the life of their new born child, she feared losing him and her daughter and that magic wouldn’t be enough to protect them. After the Great War had ended the two moved out of the manor and into a flat in downtown San Francisco. Their daughter Evie began to come into her powers and surprised both her mother and father when she came across the ability to become incorporeal. She inherited part of her mother’s empathic abilities along with a strong connection to air, an element she was able to manipulate. Despite her mother’s attempt to keep her as normal as possible, Evie embraced her powers as a way of being able to help save the lives of innocents and was always studious at her craft. As she grew older, the only person she seemed to find that understood her was her cousin Wyatt; the two had a close bond with each other and shared pretty much everything with each other.
With out the power of three, the remaining sisters have been struggling against the forces of evil. As time passed, Phoebe’s premonitions have become more powerful and Piper was given the ability to shimmer.
Leo has become an elder after helping to restore “up there” after the war, but still remains as the sisters’ whitelighter. Paige’s spirit has moved on, yet Piper and Phoebe summon her and Grams when they are in a time of need.
Reconstruction is still in progress and the two families are continuing on with their lives, Wyatt is in college and Evie is in her last year of high school; Phoebe still works for The Bay View Mirror, and Piper has re-opened P3.

T he Halliwell manor was looking like a tornado had gone through it. Broken plates, furniture and glass covered the floor. Piper sighed heavily as she bent over to pick up a broken picture frame. Inside was a picture of two young boys, one with blonde hair and blue eyes and the other with brown hair and blue eyes. The faces were smiling cheerfully from behind the broken glass.
“I can’t believe how much mess two winged mischief demons caused,” commented her younger sister Phoebe as she placed pieces of glass into a black trash bag. “What do you got there?” Phoebe asked looking over her sister’s shoulder.
“It seems like it was only yesterday that Wyatt was 16, doesn’t it?”
Phoebe sighed, “Yes, it does. Remember how much trouble those two used to get into?”
“What do you mean used to, they still do.”
Laughter came from the hall. “What happened here?” Chris asked, picking up a picture frame he stepped on.
“Mom, aunt Phoebes, are you two ok?” asked Wyatt with concern.
“We’re fine, just some mischief demons, nothing to worry about,” Piper replied.
“What’s that?” Chris asked; Piper handed him the picture frame.
Chris laughed, “Look at what dorks we were.”
Wyatt looked at the picture and smiled, “Baseball, what were we thinking?”
“If I can remember right, you two used your powers to your advantage at the practices,” Phoebe said with a slight smile.
“Oh yeah, baseball turned fetch for the other players on the team,” Wyatt said.
“Good times, good times,” Chris chimed in.
“You guys were so cute then, only kids,” Piper said.
“Oh no, she’s going to get all sentimental,” Wyatt said warning Chris.
“I’m not going to get sentimental,” she said defensively, “its just…I can’t believe how fast time flies.”
“You’re telling me,” Phoebe commented, looking at another picture, “I mean, Wyatt’s going to be 21 how I wish I was still in my twenties.”
“It’s not going to change anything,” Wyatt said, “You two are still my favorite ladies.”
Piper and Phoebe smiled. Chris pinched Wyatt’s cheeks, “Isn’t he a charmer?” he teased.
“Shut up,” Wyatt said.
***** “That will be twenty-two dollars.” Piper paid the cashier and walked out of the store. It was an overcast day and the breeze blew in from the bay; you could taste the salt in the air. The street was busy with traffic and car horns could be heard. Holograms popped up every now and again to advertise products or inform of upcoming events.
Leo walked up to his wife, “Piper, how are you?”
“I’m fine Leo, I only left to go buy groceries,” Piper said smiling.
“I know, but you can never be too careful nowadays. Is that dinner?”
Piper looked at him oddly as they began to walk again, “You came here to ask me that?”
A woman with short blonde hair and blue eyes watched as Piper and Leo walked off. She smiled to herself and shimmered out. ***** Chris and Wyatt were tossing a football in Wyatt’s old room. “So, your birthday is coming up, given any thought to what you’re going to do?” Chris asked while tossing the football to Wyatt from his chair.
“It’s just another birthday,” Wyatt said boredly and threw the ball back to Chris.
“You know,” Chris said with a mischievous grin, “If you had a party you could invite Anna.”
Wyatt smiled, “And what makes you think that she’d come?”
“Could it be that she likes you?”
“I don’t know.” Wyatt shook his head.
“Come on, she’s cute and you like her so-” Chris stopped.
“What?” Wyatt asked.
“Did you hear that?”
“Hear what?”
Chris got up and moved towards the doors. “Chris, there’s no-” Voices could be heard coming from the attic. Wyatt motioned his head as if to say ‘lets it out.’
The two made their way to the attic and saw two women ripping things from the shelves “Where could it be?” a woman with short blonde hair said.
“The witches wouldn’t just have it out in the open…not anymore,” said the other. She was much younger than the blonde and had shoulder length brown hair.
Wyatt and Chris exchanged looks. Chris telepathically caused a vase to fall and break. The two women glanced at the vase and Wyatt orbed the book of shadows into his hands.
“Got it.” The two turned and came when they did they came face to face with the blonde. “I’ll be taking this,” she said and reached for the book but Chris and Wyatt orbed out. The two appeared in the living room. They were about to head to the kitchen when the young girl shimmered in.
“Going somewhere?” she dropped kicked Wyatt; he flew into the wall and dropped the book of shadows. Chris was about to attack her but the girl was too fast for him. She sent him flying into a table.
The blonde reached for the book but it moved away from her. Wyatt formed and energy ball and sent it at the blonde; she shimmered out before it could hit her. Just then Piper and Leo walked in; Piper raised her hands and caused the young girl to explode. The blonde shimmered out.
“What the hell’s going on?” Leo asked.
Piper ran over to her son and wrapped her arms around him in a tight hug. “Are you alright? Are you hurt?”
“Mom, I’m fine,” Wyatt looked at his dad for some help. “Uh, Piper?” Leo said.
She smiled and let go.
“They were after the book of shadows,” Chris said as he handed it to Piper.
“Who were they?” Piper asked.
“Who knows, but you killed one of them,” Chris said.
“I’m going to check with the elders…see if they know,” Leo said and orbed; Piper sighed.

Pieces of colors swirled around and took shape. “Ugh!” cried Bianca as she reformed.
Her mother shimmered in, “Are you alright?” she asked.
Bianca glared at her mother, “No I am not alright,” she replied nastily. “They’re onto us now.”
Her mother smiled viciously, “But they’re ignorant,” Lynn said, “They believe you’re dead.”
“Well if it wasn’t for what we are, then I would be…but that wouldn’t bother you, would it?”
“Bianca, when are you going to stop going through this whole ‘I hate the world and everyone in it phase’? Look, we’ll keep tight for now; let them believe we’re gone. In the mean you should gather your strength, your performance was sloppy.” Her mother shimmered out. Bianca let out a yell of frustration. **** It was the next day and the weather was horrible. The wind whipped about violently outside and the rain was coming down hard. The sky was a deep grey and lit up every now and then when the lightning flashed. Piper, Wyatt and Phoebe were up in the attic.
“I wonder what could be taking so long,” Piper said as she nervously arranged the books on the shelf. Leo had not yet returned from visiting the elders. “He’s been gone a whole day now,” she continued.
“I’m sure dad’s fine,” Wyatt said reassuringly.
“So where’s Jason?” Piper asked trying to get her mind off of worrying.
“He has to work at the office, the new computer system for the news paper is becoming effective today,” Phoebe explained.
Leo orbed in. “It’s about time,” Piper exclaimed.
“Sorry it took so long, things are a bit hectic up nowadays.”
“Well did you find out who attacks the boys?” Phoebe asked.
“Yeah, at least we think we did. They’re called the Phoenix; they’re an elite group of assassin witches. If the two that attack yesterday were what we think they are, the Phoenix that you killed isn’t dead.”
“Huh?” Piper said.
“It turns out that they can reform-”
“Which means that they are unstoppable,” Phoebe said. They were silent.
“The book,” Wyatt said.
“What about it?” Piper asked.
“Well they’ll be after it since they failed the last time.”
“Wyatt’s right, if the one we supposedly killed is in fact alive, it’s only going to be a matter of time before they try to take the book again,” Phoebe added. ***** It was the next day, the sun was shining brightly outside and it seemed that everyone was out to enjoy the weather. Phoebe entered the office building still finishing up her cup of coffee. She stopped outside the door of the main newspaper office and gazed into a small screen; a small green ray of light scanned her eye. “Phoebe Halliwell” a machine voice identified. She then entered the office.
“Good morning Phoebe,” greeted a plump red haired lady.
“Good morning Sarah, how are you doing today?”
“Very well thanks.”
Phoebe entered her private office to find her husband, Jason, sitting on the edge of her desk. “Hmm, this seems a bit conspicuous,” she teased as she closed the door.
“I missed you last night,” Jason said.
“I’m sorry, I had to stay and help Piper with,” she paused.
“It’s alright, you can speak freely in your office, just not anywhere else, the place is bugged in a way. It’s really a stupid law.”
Phoebe smiled and continued with what she was saying, “With a spell. Did you get my message?”
“No, I was here late last night seeing that everything was running smoothly,” Jason confessed.
“Well in that case,” Phoebe kissed her husband, “good night and, “she kissed her again, “good morning.”
“Good morning indeed,” Jason said and kissed her again.
The two were interrupted by a young man, “Oh sorry,” he said.
“It’s alright,” Jason replied smiling.
“Phoebe, here’s your mail,” the young man said as he handed it to Jason and left.
“More fan mail,” Jason said handing his wife the envelopes.
Phoebe gasped and fell to the floor. Jason quickly closed the door and went over to Phoebe. Phoebe had both hands on her head and her face was contorted with pain. She breathed heavily and slowly removed her hands from her head.
“Are you alright?” Jason asked helping her up to her feet.
“Ah, that hurt!”
Jason looked at his wife with concern; her premonitions had been causing her a lot of pain lately.
“Jason stop looking at me like that,” Phoebe said, “I’m fine, really.”
“Phoebe-”
“Jason, you know this comes with what I am and-”
“Yes, but you’re not twenty something any more. I worry, that’s all.”
Phoebe smiled weakly, “I know but really, I’m fine.”
Jason kissed his wife on the cheek and left the office. Phoebe quickly picked up the phone and pressed one on her speed dial. “Hey Piper, it’s me Phoebe.”
“Are you sure?” Piper asked as she paced around the conservatory.
“If what I saw in my vision is true, which it has to be otherwise I wouldn’t have had it, then yeah,” Phoebe replied.
“This isn’t good, go over what you saw exactly,” Piper said.
“Piper, we’ve-”
“Ah-ah, no complaining, just do.”
Phoebe sighed, “Ok, I saw the Phoenix that you supposedly killed, I saw Wyatt, Chris, the other Phoenix, the clock read one and that’s all.”
Piper sat down, “I don’t like this, not one bit,” Piper looking over at a picture of her son.
Phoebe leaned on her sister, “I wish that I knew more, but we’re just going to have to play this by ear.”
Wyatt and Chris entered the conservatory and plopped down on the chairs and dropped their back packs to the floor.
“Bad day?” Phoebe asked with a smile.
“Horrible,” Wyatt said.
“Complete torture,” Chris added.
“Week before finals,” Wyatt clarified. “What’s up with you two? You seem worried.”
“It’s nothing, your aunt Phoebe had a premonition and we’re just trying to figure out what it means.
“What was it about?” Wyatt asked growing concerned.
“Various things,” Phoebe replied, “It was more like snapshots of a picture than-”
“Mom? Aunt Piper? I’m home!” a voice called out from the hall. A young girl about eighteen walked into the conservatory. She had shoulder length light brown hair that had a braid down one side bound by a lavender ribbon; her eyes were green. She was clad in a black shoulder revealing top and a pair of ankle length tight fitting blue jeans.
“Evie!” Phoebe got up and rushed over to her daughter and gave her a big hug. “I thought you weren’t getting back until Tuesday. How was Europe?”
“Europe was fun; I thought we weren’t going to get back until Tuesday also, but we thought that it was time to come home.” Evie walked over to Piper and kissed her on the cheek, “How’s my favorite aunt?”
“Your favorite aunt wants to know all about your trip to Europe,” Piper said with a mischievous smile.
“All in do time, all in do time.”
“Well come here you,” Phoebe said and hugged her daughter again. “Does your father know that you’re back?”
“Not yet but I was planning on going over to the office.”
“My car is in the shop so you’re going to have to take the bus,” Phoebe said. “Those shoes are the cutest! Where did you get those?”
Evie smiled, “Italy, I fell in love with them, they’re nice huh?” she said showing off her black strapped heels.
“Here’s some money for the bus,” Phoebe said handing her a couple of quarters.
“Or…” Evie said turning to face Wyatt.
“No,” Wyatt said firmly.
“Please? Come on Wyatt, please?”
Wyatt sighed, “Alright, come on.”
Evie smiled and turned back towards Piper and her mom, “I’ll see you two later.”
“Dinner’s at seven,” Piper said. “Why don’t you join us too Chris.”
Chris nodded, “Like I can say no to your cooking.”
“What, no hello Christopher?” Evie said as the three walked out to the car.
Chris blushed a bit, “Hi.”
Wyatt gave him a look, “Shut up,” Chris said through his teeth.
As they drove through the city, ruined buildings and streets could be seen, along with many police men. “Still the same old San Francisco,” Evie commented as she gazed out the window from the back seat.
“Were you expecting it to change in the couple of weeks that you were gone?” Wyatt asked glancing at his cousin in the review mirror.
“Yes and no,” Evie replied. “I was naïve to think that it would change or that Europe would be any different.”
They stopped at a street light; Evie gazed out towards where the bay bridge used to stand. The bay seemed stagnant and empty.
“I thought that you had fun in Europe,” Chris said.
Evie sighed, “I did…a few times. It’s not all that different from here, some places are worse. The coliseum in Rome is nothing but a hologram of what was; and the Canterbury Cathedral in England is the same. The streets are cracked, buildings are ruined, everything that was something is destroyed…only a mere photograph in the history books.”
They were quiet. Wyatt at last broke the silence, “If it helps, they’re trying to restore Ghirardelli Square along with repairing the parts of Fisherman’s Wharf that were ruined.”
“I also heard that they’re trying to restore the Opera house that used to be on Van Ness Avenue and that Golden Gate Park is supposed to re-open sometime in January,” Chris added.
Evie smiled, “Thanks you guys.”
**to be continued****

It was now night and the streets were quiet. Bianca was peering through the blinds from a house across the street from Halliwell manor. The manor seemed to be quiet; no one had gone in or out of the place for quite a while now. Suddenly the front door opened and it cast a yellow light out onto the steps. Evie shut the door behind her and sat down on the steps. She looked up to the sky; a couple of stars could be seen shining brightly. She closed her eyes. The door opened again and Chris sat down beside her.
“Are you alright?” he asked.
Evie opened her eyes and looked at him, “I’m fine.”
“It didn’t seem like it back there, you seemed quiet.”
Evie smiled faintly, “I’m fine, really.”
Chris didn’t buy it he knew something was bothering her and wasn’t going to give up until he knew what it was. “Evie-”
“Christopher.” They laughed.
“Alright you win, this time.”
“Winning’s good.” Evie wrapped her sweater around her more tightly.
“Here,” Chris took off his jacket and placed it on her shoulders. Evie smiled at him, the two looked into each others eyes for awhile. Chris leaned in and was about to kiss Evie but she pulled back suddenly and looked across the street.
“Evie, wh-”
“Shh…” her eyes were set on the house across the way. Bianca moved away from the blinds and shimmered out.
“Hmm,” Evie said to herself after a while.
“What is it?” Chris asked following her gaze.
“The air, it warned of an enemy, but the feeling’s gone now.”
Chris looked at her, “That is some power of yours.”
Evie nodded and got up, “I should tell the others.” The two went back inside.

Bianca shimmered into her apartment. She took off her brown coat and placed it on the coat hanger that she had next to her front door. “Well?” Lynn said.
Bianca gasped, “Haven’t you ever heard of calling before you come over, mom?”
“How many live at the house?”
“I’m fine thanks for asking.”
Lynn ignored her daughter’s sarcasm, “How many live at the house?”
“I’m not sure,” her daughter replied.
“What do you mean you’re not sure?”
Bianca sighed annoyed, “I mean I’m not sure. There are always people going in and out of the house, it’s hard to tell who lives there. They’re like the fricken Brady Bunch of the magical world; they’re so family oriented.”
Bianca sat down on the couch and looked down to the floor. Anger flooded through her. 'Family is nothing,’ she thought to herself. ‘Why can’t I have a normal family? Why can’t I have a mother who can show some kind of human compassion? All family is, is another thing that gets in your way and keeps you from doing your job, as my mother says. I hate h-’
“Bianca!”
Bianca looked up, “What?”
Her mother looked at her strangely, “What’s wrong with you, are you tired? I was just talking to you and-”
“Sorry, I-I spaced out.”
Lynn continued to eye her daughter strangely, half expecting to see what her daughter wasn’t telling her. “Who visits the house?” she asked after a while. “Phoebe, her daughter, her husband and some other people.”
“The husband is no threat to us, he’s only mortal.”
Bianca nodded.
“And what about the son?”
“What about him?” Bianca asked.
“He’s the most powerful of the bunch, you’re to watch him carefully, see what weaknesses of his can be detected.”
***
Wyatt was in the grocery store looking for some of the things on the shopping list that his mother had given him when he bumped into Anna.
“Anna, hi,” he said growing nervous.
“Hey Wyatt, what’s up?” the girl asked giving him a big smile. She was of medium height, slender; her hair was the color of coal while her eyes were a hazel brown. “Nothin’ much, and you?”
“I’m doing fine, a bit stressed from studying for finals. What classes are you taking this year?”
“I’m taking European lit again along with psych…again.” Wyatt’s heart was beating fast now.
“Cool, you seemed to really enjoy psychology last year, have you declared that your major?”
Wyatt nodded; he was really enjoying talking to her, but he was getting caught for words. “What about you, what’s your major?”
“I’m majoring in art history.”
“Art, how interesting. My cousin Evie wants to do the same thing, only not art history, she wants to be a designer.”
“Oh?”
“Yeah, she likes to make things.” ‘Why are you talking about Evie?’ Wyatt thought to himself.
Anna nodded; an awkward silence fell between them. “Well, I-I have to get going,” Anna said, “It was really nice talking to you.”
“Yeah…with you I mean.”
“Well, bye.”
“See you in school.”
Anna gave him one last smile before she walked away. Wyatt let out a sigh, “Smooth.”
Bianca stirred from behind the magazine that she was looking at.
*** “She said it felt like something was there, something evil,” Phoebe said.
Jason sighed, “She hasn’t been wrong before, do you think that this could tie into what you saw in your premonition?”
Phoebe sat down on the couch beside her husband. “I don’t know; it’s possible.”
“Phoebe what’s wrong?” Jason asked looking at his wife with concern.
“Her powers are getting stronger and she’s scared by it at times…I can feel it in her.” Phoebe let out a small sigh, “I just don’t want our daughter to have to deal with something that can be so heavy on someone.”
Jason placed an arm around her, “Evie is a strong girl; remember when we found out that she had the power to become incorporeal?”
“Yes but-”
“Remember how worried we were about her being exposed and not being able to keep her power under control? But she proved to do otherwise, and if she can handle that I am sure she can handle her newest power.”
Phoebe leaned her head against his shoulder, “Jason, it’s not that I think she can’t handle it, it’s just…part of her power is based on feeling and I, being an empath, knows what kind of a toll it can take on someone.”
The two were silent.
“I know,” Jason said. Evie silently walked back to her room.

Wyatt was staring out the window. The sun was shining brightly outside.
“There you are,” Evie said as she walked into the conservatory. “Wyatt, I need to talk to you.”
Wyatt continued to stare out the window. “Wyatt, hey, earth to Wyatt,” Evie said waving a hand in front of her cousin’s face.
“What?”
Evie looked at him curiously, “Are you ok?”
“Yeah, just thinking about things that’s all,” Wyatt said turning to face her.
“Do you always zone out like that when you’re thinking?”
Wyatt sighed, “What do you want Evie?”
“I need to talk to you,” Evie replied lying down on the couch.
“About?”
“Well Dr. Halliwell, it’s about why mothers don’t think their kids can handle things.”
Wyatt smiled, “Care to express more on that?”
“Well I guess in order to explain it I have to talk about my childhood. I had a good childhood don’t get me wrong,” the two of them laughed. “No seriously, last night I over heard my mom and dad talking about me,” Evie continued. “She doesn’t think that I can control my new power…which is totally wrong since I can handle it, at times.”
“I can relate to that. My mom’s always whigging when magic and I come together.”
“But Aunt Piper seems to deal with it better than my mom; remember when I fell off the ladder and used my power to break my fall, last year while hanging up the Christmas lights? Mom completely freaked and scolded me, but yours was caring.”
“You fell through the ground, you could have exposed your magic, and that would be a problem because then we’d have to deal with the cleaners.”
“So my brains splattering all over the place would’ve been better?”
“You have a point.”
“Thank you!”
Wyatt looked at his cousin; he could tell that she was fuming. “Look, at least your mom isn’t scared about your powers,” Wyatt said and looked away from her. Evie gave him a skeptic look, “Yeah, right.”
“What do you mean by that?”
Evie played with the rings on her fingers as she spoke, “She’s scared of the newest one that I’ve acquired. I heard her say so last night.”
“Doesn’t it suck to know that they feel that way?” Wyatt said.
“Yeah but what’s even worse is the facet that I’m what’s causing it.”
The two were quiet for a while.
“Ooh this is so infuriating!” Evie exclaimed suddenly getting up from the couch.
“Evie, we have to be rational and know that they only want what’s best for us.”
“Yeah well, it’s kind of hard to do that when your mother is an empath.”
*** Piper and Phoebe were just entering the manor when they heard a noise.
“What’s that?” Phoebe asked. “Don’t know, it sounds like it’s coming from the attic.”
The two made their way quietly up the stairs. When they reached the attic, they peaked inside and found that no one was there.
“Hello?” Piper said cautiously entering the attic; her hands were out in front of her, prepared to attack. “Hey,” Phoebe said as she went over to the bookshelf. A couple of books lay about as if someone had been searching for something. “That’s weird, it’s like-”
Phoebe flew across the room and landed hard on her side. “What the hell?” Piper motioned her hands; Phoebe looked at her sister. “I think I froze the room.”
“Only one way to find out,” Phoebe said. She got up and began to feel the air for something, anything. Piper began searching too. They were swinging their arms about wildly through the air.
“Ahem!” Piper and Phoebe looked towards the door. “Wyatt, Chris, hi, how was your guys’ day?” Piper asked.
“Wyatt, I think your mom and aunt have finally cracked or reached their mid-life crisis,” Chris said.
Piper and Phoebe glared at him.
“What were you two doing?” Wyatt asked trying to refrain from laughing.
“There was someone or something in here and we were trying to find it,” Phoebe explained as she continued to swing her arms in the air.
“So that’s what you were doing,” Chris said sarcastically. Wyatt elbowed him in the ribs. “It was invisible,” Piper said matter of factly.
“What was?” Evie asked walking into the attic. “Nothing that you need to worry about,” Phoebe replied.
“Maybe Evie can help find out what was here,” Wyatt said looking at his cousin.
“I don’t know,” Phoebe said looking at her daughter. Evie let out a sigh, “How else will you figure it out? By luck of premonition?”
“Fine,” her mother replied.
Evie smiled then closed her eyes and centered her energy on finding out what she wanted to know. A gentle breeze came into the attic; it rustled her hair and blew against her skin. Suddenly she leaned over. “Evie?” Piper said.
Evie was breathing hard and she let out a cry of pain. “What’s going on?” Piper asked worriedly.
Wyatt tried to shake Evie out of it but when he touched her, her skin felt as hot as fire.
“Ah!” Wyatt looked at his cousin; all of a sudden Evie fell to the ground.
Phoebe ran over to her, “You’re burning up,” she said feeling her daughter’s face with the back of her hand. “Mom, I’m fine. Whatever was here was really powerful and full of a whole lot of anger.”
Phoebe kept looking at her daughter and feeling her face. “You shouldn’t have tried that. I knew that wasn’t a good idea. You’re not cooling down.”
Evie glared at her, “Mom, really, I’m fine,” she snapped. “Evie-”
Evie got up, “Forget I even tried to help,” she turned to Piper, “It’s a woman that was here.”
“Evie I-”
“Mom, don’t.” With that she went through the floor. “I hate when she does that; must have learned how to walk out in the middle of an argument by her father.”
Evie entered her home and headed straight for the kitchen. ‘What’s her deal?’ she thought to herself as she fanned herself with a hand. She opened the freezer and stuck her head inside. ‘Did I not help find out something about who had been there?’
“Evie.”
Evie gasped, “Chris don’t do that…that orb in and sneak up on me unexpectedly thing.”
“Sorry, hey are you alright?” He asked looking at her curiously.
“I can’t believe that she-”
“You didn’t answer my question.”
Evie was quiet. “Not really, Chris, whatever that was, it’s really angry and has a lot of hatred. What’s more is that I felt a sense of longing and pain…and I could relate to it in a way.” Evie fanned herself with a hand. She smiled, “Weird huh?”
“Not really,” Chris said wetting a cloth with some cold water.
Evie looked at him curiously.
“I mean, it’s not unusual to feel that way.” He blotted her face with the cloth.
“Do you ever feel that way…pure anger, longing?”
“Sometimes.”
Evie nodded then leaned in and kissed him on the lips. She smiled, “Oh wow,” she said and fanned herself, “I can’t believe I just did that.”
Chris smiled, “Come here,” he held her face in his hands and kissed her.
“Evie?” Jason’s voice came from the hall.
Chris orbed out.
“Dad, I thought you were working late tonight,” she said as she fanned herself again.
“You’re blushing,” he said looking at his daughter curiously.
“It’s really hot.”
“I was supposed to work late; your mom called and told me what happened.” Jason said.
Evie rolled her eyes, “Oh did she?” she blotted the cloth on her arms.
“Evie, your mom just worries about you, she’s-”
“Scared of my powers?”
Jason sighed, “That’s not true.”
“Isn’t it? Dad, she gets freaked out every time I use my powers; she thinks I can’t handle them but I can.”
“I know you can and your mother kn-”
“No, no she doesn’t.” Evie walked away. Jason let out a sigh.

“Do you think it was one of the Phoenixes?” asked Piper as she took out a stack of dishes and began to fill them with food.
“Maybe, did the book mention what kind of powers they held?” Phoebe asked gathering forks and knives.
“No, it just explained what they were.”
Phoebe nodded. “I can’t believe this.”
“I know, it’s scary because these things can reform and now they can become invisible,” Piper said.
“I was talking about Evie,” Phoebe said. She let out a sigh, “I don’t know what I’m going to do, she always thinks that I’m against her lately. I’m not trying to be the type of mom that can’t trust her daughter but…what I mean is, I’m just worried about her getting hurt.”
“Her powers are strong,” Piper commented.
“I know, but how can we stop this thing if we only know a little about it?”
“I was talking about Evie,” Piper said. “Oh.”
****
Wyatt walked out of the classroom along with all the other students. “Hey good debate,” a young man said patting Wyatt on the shoulder.
“Thanks Tom.” Wyatt smiled as he parted from the crowd and begun walking down the hall.
Someone shoved Wyatt, “How was psych?” Chris asked walking in line with his friend.
“It was great, we had a debate about the factors of the id and ego on whether or not-”
“Interesting,” Chris said sarcastically.
Wyatt shook his head, “Alright then, how was history?”
Chris smiled, “Ah history, something worth while.”
Wyatt gave him a weird look, “And psychology isn’t?”
“It can be…but history isn’t so confined. Psychology is all dealing with the mind and stuff like that, while history deals with, well, everything.”
“Psych also deals with the behavioral aspects of humans and stuff like that,” Wyatt corrected.
“In any case, they’re better and more enriching than art classes, right?” Wyatt nodded in silent agreement.
“I’m going to pretend like I didn’t hear that,” a voice from behind them said.
“Evie, what are you doing here?” Wyatt asked looking around nervously.
“Chill Wyatt, I’m here against my will. The school decided to take a trip to see what college life is like.” Evie looked around boardly. “They expect us to come here and enrich our minds, yet they don’t bother to take us to the Academy of Art.”
“Then shouldn’t you be with your class?” Wyatt pointed out.
“Should but don’t want to. I ditched the class with Max and we went on a tour of our own. I checked out the art hall, then we checked out the anthropology classes and sat in for some others.”
“Where’s Max then?” Wyatt asked.
Evie smiled, “He’s trying to get a date with this pretty red head we met in women’s studies.”
“He went into women’s studies?” Chris said with a laugh; Wyatt laughed too.
Evie gave them both a hard look, “What’s wrong with women’s studies?” She looked at Wyatt who now was wearing a straight face then back at Chris. “What’s wrong with art?”
“Oh come on Evie, women studies is just a way for feminists to get together and rant about how they hate the opposite sex.” Chris said.
Evie looked at him incredulously, “Women’s studies is to learn about why there even came to be that stupid ‘men are better than women’ crap and to learn about the great women in history who only get briefly mentioned in the history books. And yes, some courses may offer a more feministic view, but that’s no reason to look down upon them; guys who do that are just intimidated by the fact that women aren’t afraid to voice their opinions and thesis’ and back them up with reasonable examples. And art is in everything you so-called history major. Art enables us to see the past through pottery, paintings, music, drama, etc.”
Chris was silent and looked at Wyatt. Wyatt laughed, “You brought it on yourself.”
“Sorry, just got a little riled up there.”
“No, it’s cool. You have an opinion, and I respect that,” Chris replied with a smile.
Evie smiled flirtatiously, “Good then you’ll agree, to some extent, that art is just as, how did you put it-enriching- as history or psychology.”
Chris smiled.
Wyatt glanced at him then at his cousin suspiciously. “How long are you here for?” he asked changing the subject.
Evie looked at her watch, “The bus leaves at three so I’ve got three hours to kill; why?”
“We were going to grab some coffee, want to join?” Wyatt asked.
“Sure, why not.”
The three stepped outside, the air was cold and the wind blew in the smell of the bay. You could taste the salt in the air and feel the dampness of the fog. Bianca watched the three of them from afar, slowly getting closer, just enough to be within earshot of them. \
“Three coffees,” Chris said to the vender and paid him. As the vender poured the coffees Evie glanced around nervously.
“What is it?” Wyatt asked looking about them.
Evie looked at the vender and then at the people near them. “I don’t feel so well,” she replied.
“Did you skip breakfast again?” Wyatt asked.
Evie grabbed Wyatt’s wrist, her skin was hot as fire. Evie stumbled a bit. Wyatt looked around, Bianca put her hood on and walked off with some students that were passing by.
“Chris, let’s go,” Wyatt said.
The three made their way across the court yard, Bianca followed after them, bumping into people as she passed.
*** “Yeah, ok Aunt Phoebes; bye.” Wyatt hung up the phone and walked back into the living room. Chris was sipping his coffee, “Well?”
“Phoebe said that we should just stay together as much as possible. She’s going to see if she can get out of a meeting and come home. Where’s Evie?”
“She went upstairs to change,” Chris replied handing Wyatt a cup of coffee.
Evie came down the stairs sporting a pink tank top and khaki shorts.
Wyatt looked at her with raised eyebrows, “Evie you’ve got to be kidding, it’s forty degrees outside.”
His cousin glared at him, “Yeah, well, I feel like I’m living on the sun right now.”
Chris handed her an ice pack, “Thanks,” she said. Wyatt sat down on the couch, “I called Phoebe and told her what happened.”
“What did she say?”
“basically to stick together, we’re stronger in numbers.”
Evie nodded, “It was the same one that was in the attic.”
“Are you sure?” Chris asked.
“Positive; same anger, same hate.”
Chris looked at Wyatt who then looked at Evie. “What?” Evie asked.
“Wyatt and I were doing a bit of research on the Phoenix and-” Chris looked at Wyatt.
“and what?” Evie asked impatiently.
“We found out that these witches…well lets just say that once they set their mind on something, they won’t give up until they get what they want.”
“Not to mention that they are incredibly powerful,” Chris added.
“But they have to have some type of Achilles’ heel.”
“How do you know, maybe not everything has a weakness,” Wyatt said.
“Every thing has a weakness,” Evie said firmly. “Look, it doesn’t have to be physical, it could be mental or emotional. You know, as one who loves psych I thought that you would know that.”
Wyatt looked at his watch, “Ah crap, I’m going to be late for class.” He got up and grabbed his back pack. “Wyatt, you said that we’re supposed to stay here, remember?” Evie said blocking his way.
“I’ll be fine; I really need to go, we have a big lit test.”
“Be careful Wyatt,” Evie said quietly.
“I will be.” Wyatt pulled Chris aside, “Watch her until her mom or dad comes home. Oh, and don’t do anything I wouldn’t do.”
“Don’t you have some place to go?” Chris said quickly.

Bianca watched as Wyatt walked out of the house. She looked around and when she saw that the others didn’t follow she began to follow Wyatt down the street. They passed broken down houses and a small park where a couple of kids were engaged in a game of tag.
Wyatt began to get the feeling that he was being followed. He looked over his shoulder, no one was there. He continued to stare, waiting to see what would happen. Bianca was kneeling down behind a parked car; she waited what seemed almost forever for him to leave. Wyatt turned and continued to walk on. Bianca looked around then shimmered out. ***
“Chris,” Evie said mid-kiss, “my mom’s going to be coming home any minute now.”
Chris continued to kiss her neck, “So,” he said.
“So…” Evie sat up, “we’ve got to cool it; she’s very empathetic when it comes to this kind of thing, her power gets all out of whack.”
Chris tucked Evie’s hair behind her ear, “We don’t want that happening now do we?” he teased.
Evie smiled and kissed him.
“It wouldn’t be the mom that I’d be worried about.”
Evie turned around and her eyes widened, “Uncle Leo!” Chris looked away.
“You can go home now Chris,” Leo said.
Chris glanced at Evie then orbed out.
Evie turned away from her uncle; Leo walked over and stood in front of his niece looking down at her. Evie glanced up nervously.
“Well?” Leo said.
“Look, I know what you’re going to say,” Evie began. “Oh really?”
“Yes, you’re going to tell me that he’s older than me and…and you know what, you should practice what you preach because you’ve got years on Piper-” she covered her mouth with her hands. “I’m going to shut up now.”
“Wise move.” Leo sighed and sat down next to Evie. “Have your parents…” Leo fidgeted nervously and cleared his throat.
Evie looked at him strangely.
“Have they talked to you…”
“Leo, spit it out.”
“About the birds and the bees?”
“Oh my goodness!” Evie placed a hand on her head and quickly removed it.
“Well it’s important to know that when two people really like each other…er, love each other. Well, like you and Chris…”
“Leo stop,” Evie said trying to suppress a laugh.
“Evie, you need to know that having-”
“I already know about… the birds and the bees.”
Leo let out a sigh of relief, “Oh thank god, I thought that I was going to have to go through that again.”
Evie smiled nervously.
“You and Chris haven’t…”
Evie shook her head, “No.”
Leo nodded, “Good.”
The two were silent.
“Are you going to tell my mom?”
“I don’t know, why?”
“Cause I’d rather have you tell her than dad, he’s really…protective. What are you doing here anyways?”
“You’re mom asked me to come check up on you. What exactly happened to you?”
“Well did she tell you what happened to me in the attic?”
Leo nodded.
“Well, that’s what happened and I’m pretty sure it was the same person that was in the attic that was here today.”
*** Piper was flipping through some books in the attic when Wyatt orbed in.
“Wyatt, did anyone see you?” his mother asked. Wyatt took a seat on the floor next to her, “No; I did some research, along with Chris and got these.” Wyatt handed Piper some Xerox copies.
“What are these?” Piper asked looking over the papers.
“They’re little bits of information about the Phoenix.”
“Wyatt, where did you get these?”
“From the school library and the history department along with the English department.”
Piper smiled, “We’ll look at these later; I think I smell my pot roast.”
Piper placed the pot roast onto the kitchen counter and began to baste it with the juices on the bottom of the Pyrex dish it lay in.
“Wyatt, you’re birthday is Saturday and I was wondering if you’d like to have a family dinner before your party.”
“Mom, I told you that you didn’t have to do anything.”
“I know, but I want to it’s a mom thing.”
Wyatt smiled, “How about a lunch then?” Wyatt said as he took out some dishes and utensils.
“Alright, lunch it is; you can invite Chris and another guest.”
Leo orbed in with Evie, “Hey Wyatt, Piper,” he said as he kissed her on the cheek.
“Phoebe couldn’t get out of work?” Piper asked.
“No, and Jason is out of town; Phoebe asked if we could watch Evie, she said she’ll be home late.”
“That’s no problem, you know that.”
“Hey Evie, could I speak to you for a sec?” Wyatt said dragging her out of the kitchen by the arm.
“What’s going on?” Evie asked when they were in the living room.
“I was followed today,” he said.
“What…when?”
“When I left to go to class; I took a different route to check for sure that I was being followed.”
“Did you get a glimpse of who it was?”
“No, when I turned around there was no one there, but I know that there was.”
Evie was silent for a moment, trying to figure out what it could mean. “What did you hear while you were walking?”
Wyatt sighed, “What does that have to do with anything?”
“It has a lot of significance in this case, now answer the question,” Evie said impatiently.
“I don’t know, cars, kids,” he paused. “Wyatt?”
“I heard heels, except that they were soft sounding not hard like the ones you’re wearing.”
Evie’s eyes grew wide.
“What?” Wyatt asked now noticing the concerned expression on his cousin’s face.
“Wyatt, that Phoenix has been following you.”
“What, you mean the one that was in the attic?”
Evie nodded, “Yes, it has to be. I got that strange feeling when we were at the college and then you are followed…Wyatt we have to tell the others.”
“No, it will just worry them; they’ve got enough to think about.”
“But-”
“No…not until we know for sure.”
“And when will that be? When they attack you when you’re by yourself. Wyatt, you said that these things are like bounty hunters, they won’t-”
“Evie lets just wait a bit longer.”
Evie looked away from her cousin, “I don’t want anything to happen to you, that’s all.”
Wyatt smiled faintly, “Nothing’s going to happen. I need you to promise me that you won’t tell anyone or send any vibes towards Phoebe.”
“I promise, only if I can help you find out more about these things.”
“Deal.”
Evie gave Wyatt a quick hug.

hey guys, sorry for not posting sooner. Been busy but here's two more chapters ********* “Alright, are you ready?” Phoebe asked her daughter. Phoebe, Piper, Leo, Wyatt, Chris and Evie had gathered in the attic. It was the next day and they had decided that they would try to get a premonition from the feelings that Evie had had.
Evie nodded and closed her eyes. Phoebe placed her finger tips onto the temples of Evie’s head. All of a sudden the two of them gasped in pain.
“What’s going on?” Piper asked.
“I don’t know but I think we should stop this,” Leo replied. He pulled Phoebe away, she opened her eyes. Evie fell to the ground.
“Phoebe?” Piper said. Wyatt rushed over to his cousin, “Evie, Evie.” He patted her cheeks but she didn’t respond. “Dad!”
Leo rushed over to them and placed his hands over Evie; nothing happened.
“What’s going on? Why isn’t it working?” Phoebe asked with a tone of panic in her voice.
“I don’t know.” Leo kept trying but nothing seemed to be working.
“There’s got to be some other way,” Piper said.
“I don’t know of any other way.” Leo replied quietly. “You can’t just give up,” Chris said angrily.
Phoebe hugged her daughter, tears streamed down her face.
“I have an idea,” Wyatt said. He grabbed Piper’s hand and held onto Leo’s shoulder. “Try again.”
“Wyatt-”
“Try again,” Wyatt said firmly.
Leo placed his hands over Evie again; Evie gasped and opened her eyes.
“Evie!” Phoebe wrapped her arms around her and kissed her forehead.
“Mom, can’t breathe.”
“Oh, sorry.”
“How did you know that that would work?” Leo asked. “By doing that we created a chain allowing out magic to go through one another…that and it was a lucky guess,” Wyatt replied.
“What happened?” Evie said as she rubbed the temples of her forehead.
“Maybe if what Wyatt said was true, you two somehow channeled each others’ powers.” Leo said. “You mean Phoebe had Evie’s feelings and Evie had the premonition?” Piper asked.
“Did you see anything Phoebe?” asked Wyatt. “No,” Phoebe said. “I did,” Evie said.
Everyone looked at her curiously.
“I-I saw the clock that’s down stairs, it said one; I saw a girl with medium length brown hair, Wyatt, Chris and the living room. Did you know how much pain a couple of flashes make?”
“I felt pain and longing,” Phoebe said looking curiously at her daughter.
“That’s how Evie felt yesterday,” Wyatt said. “Does this mean we’ve swapped powers?” Evie asked in a not too thrilled tone.
“It’s not likely but it is possible,” Leo replied. Evie sank her hand into the floor and pulled it back out. “Just checking.”
“I need some coffee,” Phoebe said getting up and leaving the attic.
“Ditto,” Piper said following after her along with Leo. Wyatt helped his cousin to her feet, “You ok?” “Peachy keen.”
Wyatt nodded and left the attic. Evie sighed. “Evie I-”
“I’m fine Chris.”
Chris sighed and wrapped his arms around her. The two stayed that way for a while without talking. ***
Phoebe sipped her coffee, “This didn’t help, she got the same exact premonition that I already know about.”
Piper sighed, “We’re jus going to have to work with what we have and these.” Piper handed her sister the stack of papers that Wyatt had given her. “Wyatt did some research on the Phoenix and came up with these.”
Phoebe glanced at the pages.
“I’ve already started reading through some of it. A bunch of it is about things that we already know about, but there are a couple of interesting things in there,” Piper explained.
Phoebe seemed to be hypnotized by what se was reading.
“Hey Phoebes,” Piper said.
“It says here that a Phoenix’s weakness lies in the fact that it is susceptible to death by a non-magical or non-mystical incident,” Phoebe informed.
Piper peered over her sister’s shoulder at the paper, “I think we just found out what we needed.”
Bianca was walking quickly; she couldn’t let him out of her sight. “Hey watch it!” a man said as Bianca pushed him out of the way. She was in no mood to deal with worthless “excuse me’s” and “pardon me’s,” she wasn’t going to loose track of him; not this time.
Wyatt kept walking, quickening his pace with every step that he took. He glanced to the left of him, a girl wearing black pants and a pink rain coat was keeping pace with him. He looked to his right where a young man dressed all in black was doing the same. Wyatt continued on straight ahead dodging people as he passed them by. Tiny droplets of water began to fall from the overcast sky above. Soon the rain began to fall heavily and it seemed that everyone on the Embarcadero opened their umbrellas simultaneously.
Bianca let out a sigh of frustration; a sea of umbrellas was now blocking her vision. She looked around, over and under the umbrellas; she didn’t see him anywhere. Finally she spotted his blonde hair; with a vicious smile she made her way towards him.
Wyatt answered his cell phone, “Yeah?”
“Make a right at Greenwich.”
“A right, that leads-”
“To pier 23, just do it.”
Wyatt closed his cell and kept walking. He came up to Greenwich Street and made a right. Bianca was thrown off guard by this for a second but continued to follow him. Wyatt made his way behind a warehouse.
“Hurry,” Evie whispered loudly. Wyatt ran over to her and grabbed her hand; the three went through the wall of the warehouse.
Bianca turned into the back to the warehouse and looked around. ‘Where did he go?’ she wondered. She stayed for a while then shimmered out.
“Do you think that she’s gone?” Chris asked looking around the place.
Evie stuck her head through the wall and peered around. “She’s gone,” Evie confirmed.
“That’s kind of creep when you do that,” Wyatt said. Evie fanned herself, “So now what?”
Wyatt thought for a moment, “I guess we should go check back into the manor and figure out what to do from there.”
*** “You lost him?” Lynn said pacing around.
“He disappeared, it wouldn’t surprise me if he orbed out, his father is a white lighter,” Bianca said.
Lynn looked harshly at her daughter, “you’re to go to the manor, see if he’s there.”
“No,” Bianca said quietly.
“What do you mean no; do as you’re told.”
“No…I’m not a child anymore, I’m going to be twenty five. Besides, his cousin is part empath I think, stupid witch always seems to know when I’m around, then she goes telling her cousin.” Bianca sighed, ‘That is no excuse for loosing track of him’ she thought.
After a while Lynn finally said, “Keep watching him, they can’t be with him all the time.”
