Okay, so I've written this fic based upon my favorite Charmed guy....Glen. So, I was kind of testing the waters and see how far this specific story line could go. This will be a little short story, but I'm debating on whether on making it into a fic series....Tell me what you guys like about the idea. I want to focus on the quote, "One person can make a difference," and see how much of a difference this character can make. He is no longer a foil. Takes place two years after season 8. Glen has finally divorced Jessica after two years of marriage. (Yippee!) After his divorce, he travelled to France for a few years then decided to come back to SF. Finding his way back into Paige's new life, he has to be her best friend, and at the same time compete for her attention against her newly found husband, Henry. Glen is also trying to get a job at the Bay Mirror, driving Phoebe's nerves up the wall, and to top it all off, Piper MADE him the official babysitter for the boys, when no one else was around. Can Glen adjust to his new life, or will he get another urge to get up and travel somewhere far, far away again?Written by me, Patrick. This is based off of the TV show, Charmed and main characters do not belong to me.
A Belland Beginning "What do you want me to do? It's not like I have enough things to worry about, Paige," said an irritated Henry coming down the stairs of their new home for one year now. Paige followed him, her arms flapping around in the air in a crazy attempt to make an exaggerated emphasis. "Well, Mister. I think it's time you juggle your responsibilities, and stop using your job as an excuse for everything," she said resting her hands on her hips. The two now stood in their living room, the moonlight spilling in through the bay window. Henry put up his hand, one finger wagging in the air. "Hey! I don't use my job as an excuse, okay? And this is not the circus, Paige. Juggling?" Paige gave him an exasperated look. "Oh, you know perfectly well what I mean. And don't you try and turn this around because..." she paused trying to think of a good finish. "...because this is all about you bailing out on me when you know that I need the extra help." Henry's face was now in awe. He was about to say something but then the doorbell rang. The two looked at each other, knowing perfectly well, either were expecting company. The argument, just then temporarily ceased. Henry slyly smirked and started towards the door, "Saved by the ding dong," he said. Paige just gave him a goofy face and a bit of upturned lip. She hated when he thought he was winning. Making their way on towards the front door, Paige started to realize how late it was for visitors but before she could comment, Henry thrust the door open, half expecting an angry neighbor, someone from the station, or one of his parolees. But in the doorway, stood Glen. Glenn Belland. Paige's life long best friend, and on-and-off boyfriend at times. Paige's mood drastically jumped to over ecstatically high. She flew past Henry and embraced Glen in a giant hug before he even saw it coming. "Glen!" Henry gave him a doubtful look, and assumed a territorial stance. He wanted to know who this guy, Paige was all over right now and why the hell was he ringing their bell this late? And....Oh Hell no. He had bags. Duffle bags. Was he planning on staying here? Henry's brow creased as he crossed his arms. Paige finally released Glen and turned towards her husband, just realizing the two never met. She gave her hubby a look knowing he wasn't going to like what she was going to say. "Umm, honey, this is Glen. Why don't we all go sit down, huh?" She said with a forced smile. Glen nodded, having finally the chance to speak since he rung the bell, "Cool."
Chapter One coming soon...if you want me to continue.

Ahhhh! I just Blessed you, just so you know. lol I cannot believe someone just wrote a fic about GLENN! I am a super massive diehard Paiglenn fan. HUGE! Love them to death. Paige should've ended up with Glenn. He was her true love. No offense to Henry, because he's alright and all for a guy who was introduced to the season at the last minute, but Glenn and Paige - despite only having an on screen romance for three episodes (two if you count that he was with Jessica in the last one) - actually had chemistry and buildup. And he was the one that Paige actually thought she was in love with. And it wasn't immediately following him finding out she was a witch. She said, "Especially 'cause lately, I'll be out on a date and I just wind up thinking about him." Whether they meant to or not, they paralleled the way Paige thought about Glenn to the way Piper thought about Leo when they weren't together in season one and two. (Just more proof as far as I'm concerned that Glenn was and will always be the true love of Paige's life. I bet she thinks about him when she's with Henry too.) But with Henry...she told him her secret and he was super cool with it and everything just went too fast. I think maybe Paige thought that because he was fine with her secret and he was an all around good guy, she thought he was "the one" and rushed into things without the two of them getting to know each other better. Actually, there was a pattern there. Glenn was the first one she ever told her secret to and he accepted her despite that knowledge. Plus, she had an extensive on-and-off history with him. But out of respect for Glenn's relationship with Jessica, Paige stepped aside, but in her heart she was always looking for "another Glenn," so to speak. After all, she also thought she had real feelings for Nate too, after only a very short while of dating him (sound like Henry much?) and she even said, " He's the first guy I've really liked since Glenn and I actually think he might be able to handle my being a witch." But that was only after she saw his Celtic tattoo and actually knew what it represented. Then in season six she was with Richard: he was a witch, so perfect, he was also okay with her magic. But then it turned out that she felt he couldn't handle magic, so that didn't work out. Then she finds Brody and once again, she barely knows him, but he is a big believer in magic, so she "falls hard" again. Each time she found someone she thought would accept her the way Glenn did, she immediately fell hard and fast for them. But hey, you can't top the original, right? So what I'm trying to say here is that I freaking love your idea! It was a little short, but very well written and the P/G reunion was so very in character! I cannot wait to read Chapter One!!

Thanks so much for your response. Like you, I also believe that Paige should have belonged to Glenn, he is just the coolest. And your right about her relationships. Glenn was the right one for her, he had everything she wanted in a man plus more. I believe that the best relationships are with friends first. Not only that, but they made the cutest couple Glad you like the idea. Chapter One will be up asap.

Glenn was the right one for her, he had everything she wanted in a man plus more. I believe that the best relationships are with friends first. Not only that, but they made the cutest couple That they did! ;D And when she was with him was the only time we ever saw her really being herself. She had a fun, flirty, thrilling personality whenever she was with Glenn. It was in the way she spoke to him, in the way they kissed, in the way they hugged, in the small intimate gestures they had (like when she held his hand while she read the spell to stretch his imagination)...everything! They were just the perfect fit and they brought out the best in each other. But with every guy after Glenn, her true nature just never came out. Glenn brought out her inner youth, whereas she was so "grown up" with all of her other boyfriends. And while some might say it was good for her to grow up, I don't necessarily agree. Yes, she had to mature as every character does, but she should not have had to lose everything that made her up to do so. Haha, now you've made me want to go watch P/G videos on YT. ;D

Chapter One "Elise! Elise!" Phoebe came bounding down the hall of the Bay Mirror. Her high voice and desperate tone was always a patience tester for her boss. She finally caught up with the businesswoman. "I was thinking maybe if I picked different letters, it would bring in more readers," she told her boss. Elise took the paper from Phoebe's hand and began to read it, rather quickly actually. Phoebe continued, "You see, what I did was appeal to the newly - " she was caught off by Elise. "No," her boss said sharply, shoving the paper back into Phoebe's hands. "I'm afraid it's not enough. Changing Ask Phoebe will not make up for the absence of our photojournalist. Now, if you excuse me, I have to go find someone who is damned good at this, willing to start work in the day or two and doesn't mind receiving a non-negotiable salary," Elise then turned and continued to march down the hall towards the elevators. Phoebe turned back around towards the direction of the office but didn't move. She needed a second to get over the rejection. "Oh," she said quietly to herself, proceeding back into her workplace. She entered the wide doors, and walked straight to her office, gathering her things. Phoebe picked up her cell and pressed the voice key. "Piper," she said into the phone. "Calling," the phone replied. After several moments someone picked up. "Piper, thank god your up. I'm just finishing up at the office and wondered if you could do me a favor.......Oh really? You need to talk to me?.......Oh, well this sort of can't wait. I know your club has put you in the hot spot lately, and I was wondering if you could go through your business contacts and try and hunt down a special kind of photographer......Not that special..." Phoebe bit her lip, knowing this was a lot to ask. "He just has to have a skill for photojournalism and able to come in in the next day." This time Piper's voice was heard on the other end. "PHOEBE!" Piper exclaimed through the phone, Phoebe winced. "I know, I know, but it's very important, please, honey. I'll take you shopping?" she tried to soften her sister up. "I'll even watch the boys more often....Hey, speaking of, how are my little nephews?" Leave it to Phoebe to change the subject when she was the one who needed the favor. "So can you do it," she finally said after finding her way back to her first request. Piper must have been said yes because Phoebe jumped up in excitement, "Yay....oh, sorry, what was it that you wanted to tell me....Wait, what.....WHO stopped by?" Phoebe couldn't believe what she was hearing. "Oh, that's wonderful! You sent him over to Paige?" Phoebe then looked out her window. It was very late, some of the lights to the office were even dimmed or off. She walked out of her office and towards the elevators, staying on the phone, "Well, I'll stop by Paige's in the morning, since she lives closer to me than you do, this is so exciting! Then I'll stop by and see what you found, kay....great.....luv you, sweetie," she hung up her cell and instantly felt her head swimming with new thoughts. Will Piper really find a new photojournalist for the paper? How will Elise thank me? Oh, but I can't wait to see Glenn after all this time. I wonder how Henry feels about this, a new look appeared on Phoebe's face. This sudden excitement for Glenn was out of no where. Maybe she liked the guy more than she knew. The morning came fast. Glenn was already up. For someone who traveled a lot, he could never get a proper rest in someone's home. He would awake in the night several times and feel the need to go home, while reminding himself that this was Paige's house and it was no stranger's home, he was safe here. Maybe it was the fact this just wasn't Paige's house, but Henry's too. Glenn helped himself to the fridge as he walked into the kitchen. He was always open to eat whatever. But because this was Henry's house too, it sort of changed things. "Wonder how Henry feels about me going through his fridge," he said to himself, knowing Paige wouldn't care one bit. "I don't mind at all, just as long as you don't touch my barbecue ribs," Henry said making his silent entrance finally known. Glenn jumped. Turning to see Henry, he was relieved it, somehow expecting another demon to strangle his throat again. "Whoa, you almost gave me a heart attack there," Glenn said feeling his chest return to a normal thump. Henry gave him a smile, he had on his best work clothes, he was obviously on his way out, but had a few minutes to spare for a man to man with Glenn. This was going to be interesting.
Sorry their so short, this is just a test-story, so I made the chapters shorter. Hope it's still good.

Phoebe liking Glenn more than she knew? Uh-oh! She better not be thinking about hitting on her sister's man. I know she thought Glenn was a cutie, but still, that's a no-no! lol She can have Henry if she wants. Or the Original Cupid. Or best of all, Cole. But she cannot have the Belland. (By the way, at what point in time does this story take place? Obviously it's post "Engaged And Confused," but is it also post the finale? If it is, I'm guessing probably not too far since there was no mention of Piper [or Phoebe] having a daughter or even being pregnant.) And haha, I cannot wait to see what Glenn and Henry talk about! That should be hilarious. I wonder if it'll dawn on Henry fairly soon or if it'll take him a while before he discovers the unresolved feelings between his wife and her best friend?

Lol @ Henry and Glenn. But this takes place after Forever Charmed, about two years. So far, Phoebe isn't pregnant yet and Piper isn't either. I didn't want to stray the attention from Glen, so pregnancies will come later in the series, if I continue to write it. But Phoebe doesn't like Glen in a sexual way, it was just a friendly thing lol. But once I get Glenn settled in, it's going to be so crazy for the CO lol. You'll be surprised what one person can cause. It's all good stuff though. So I pretty much have a whole fic series planned out, but I really need to know if this idea is going to last. Thanks for your feedback.

Thanks for your feedback. Oh, okay. At first I did think it was set two years after the finale, but then when I re-read the OP, I wasn't sure if the description meant two years post the finale or just two years after Glenn married Jessica (and since I didn't know when they were married, I wasn't sure). Anyway, thanks for clearing all that up. I hope you do plan to finish the series, because I'm just loving this. There really aren't enough P/G fans in the world and even less who write P/G fanfiction.

Chapter Two "Glen," Henry greeted taking a seat at the table. "Henry," Glenn mirrored, though keeping his position by the counter. He heard that Henry was mad cool, and he sort of experienced some of that last night, but he wouldn't know for sure unless he saw it for himself. So far, it was undecided. "So, your going to go bust some bad guys or what." Glenn's statement caught Henry by surprise. Henry shook his head. "No, I don't do the busting. I usually just keep track of them. Listen, I know you and Paige are really close and we didn't really get a chance to talk about everything last night, but since she trusts you than I do." He put his hands in his pockets and nodded. He was a little confused but felt like he was in the safe zone. But then Henry sat back in his chair and crossed his arms. Oh boy, what was this? "But just so we're on the same page and everything...how exactly did you guys meet?" Henry was playing the bad cop now. Glenn took in a deep breath and leaned back on the counter for support, crossing his arms as well. A light smile on his face. This was going to be good. Glenn liked nothing more than friendly interrogations. "Well..." he said in his deep, boyish tone of voice. "We actually met in Kindergarten, where we became best friends," he didn't go into detail, seeing how Henry might take it as gloating. The whole, 'who has the most history' game was boring to Glenn and something he avoided. He still couldn't believe this was Paige's husband he was talking to. Henry wasn't buying it. He knew his wife was attractive. How could this guy be her friend for all these years and be only that? He eyed Glenn for a moment then asked, "You, uh, ever hit on her. I mean, you guys seemed to have been friends your whole life, even friends do stuff right?" Glenn didn't know whether this was some freaky undercover cop talk to get you to spill your guts or if this guy was really serious. Either way, he didn't want to lie to him. He laughed a little, "I didn't hit on her, exactly." That was not a lie. It was actually Paige who hit on Glenn first. Glenn was still trying to distinguish between Henry's odd questions, who asked this sort of stuff? "What do you mean exactly," Henry now leaned forward in his chair, placing his elbows on his knees. Okay, so now he was starting to feel uncomfortable. Glenn needed to find some comfort again. If it was answers that Henry wanted, then it was an answer he was going to get. "Like you said, Hen," he said turning and getting out a bowl. Good thing he already knew where the bowls were, or else he would just have looked real dumb. "...even friends do stuff. But that was in the past. We moved on...met other people. Fell in looove..." he paused and grabbed a cereal box from atop the refrigerator. He didn't mention that he divorced his wife. That would give Henry the impression that he came back to win back Paige. Henry saw the time on the clock above the sink and knew this conversation was over. Dang it. "Well, Glenn, I have to get to work," he stood and walked over towards the counter taking the cereal box from Glenn's hand and placing it back ontop the fridge. "And that's my Special K," he said, grabbing the other box. "Here. You can have some Cap'n Crunch.... Cap," he gave Glenn the nickname only because he called Henry something he didn't like being called, Hen. As Henry walked out, Glenn mimicked the little gesture as he poured the cereal into the bowl. "Oh! And uh, be sure to check with Paige before you, uh, accidentally touch something your not supposed to, please," Henry added as he opened the side door. Smiling, with a little more arrogance than needed, Henry finally left. After returning to finish making his cereal, Glenn made his way into the living room to watch a little TV and wait until Paige gets back from her whitelighter duties...whatever that was. Magic was still all new to him, seeing he didn't exactly experience the whole shebang. "LEO!" Piper shouted entering the conservatory carrying Chris. She was a little out of breath. Chris was getting too big for this. She put him down. "Go play with your toys, sweetie, okay," she said to him as she looked around for her husband. Chris' feet padded against the floor as he ran towards the little play corner. "LEO!" Her voice was more irritated. She made her way over to the stairs and ascended them, while still yelling. "I need you to watch Chris for me," she made it to the landing, still no Leo. She opened the door to their bedroom, empty. She then proceeded towards the attic stairs. "LEO! You up here," she said almost to the top. She then heard someone mutter something. It sounded like, 'Yeah, just a sec,' she knew that muttering sound from anywhere. "Leo," she said entering the attic finally, seeing her husband hunched over the book. This was rare. "Did you hear me calling you. I need you to watch Chris. Wyatt's school just called and I have to talk to the principal. What are you looking for," she asked, now more curious than ever. Leo kept his eyes on the book. "Uhh, demonic twins. Wyatt in trouble again?" "Yes," she responded sharply, "And what information about demonic twins can't you find in magic school?" Since Leo took over, he barely even needed to see the Book, even before, unless he wanted to help vanquish someone. Leo looked up this time. "It's a specific demon I'm looking for. He and his twin once encountered a Warren before, even killed her." His voice was melodramatic. "Why are you being so vague? Is there something your not telling me," Piper put her hands on her hips and tilted her head. "Cause you know just how much I hate not knowing everything." Leo opened his mouth, but then closed it again. "It's nothing to worry about, Piper. It would just help to know everything I possibly can and who better to know than your family with their experience and all." Piper squinted at him. "Riiight. Good luck with that," she was a little angry, she would admit, but nothing she wouldn't get over in the next hour or so. "Me. Leaving. You got Chris," she asked one more time. Leo nodded, his gaze fixated on the book. Piper gave up and just turned to leave. Leo could have sworn he heard her murmur something under her breath. Not too long after he heard Piper descend the stairs, white lights swirled in front of him. He looked up and waited for the familiar sight of orbs to disappear. Paige Matthews reconstituted and gave Leo a suspicious look. "Leo?" she said. Clearly asking the same thing Piper did. "Hey, Paige," he then looked at the Book underneath him. "Uh, don't ask. It's nothing important. But if you came to look at the book, I'm almost done," he said finally finding the page he was looking for. "Riiight," she said, giving him same tone Piper did. Leo rolled his eyes as he read the information on the page. "So which one of your charges need help this time? Jackie or Robin?" The only two of Paige's charges that were actively fighting demons instead of defending against them. "Neither," Paige replied, "It's Heidi, you know, the art teacher. She was attacked this morning and barely escaped. She drew me a picture of the demon." Leo wasn't paying much attention. But then Paige gasped as if she had seen someone just die. Leo snapped his head up in her direction. "What? What is it?" Paige frantically dug into her bag and withdrew a piece of paper. She unfolded it and showed Leo a drawing of a demon. Male, tall, dark hair, a distinguished tattoo on his face and wild green eyes. The same demon on the page of the Book of Shadows that Leo was reading. "One of the demonic twins," Leo said under his breath, brushing his finger against the Book. His theory was right. "They're resurfacing."

Chapter Three "Okay," Paige said calmly, "Please tell me you were looking for a peace ritual or something and just happened to stop at that particular page." But she knew deep inside that this was not the case. If Leo knew about these demons, then they are after more than just Heidi. "I wish I could, Paige. But these twins have attacking the families of students at Magic School." Leo's brow creased as he continued to read the page. Paige waited for another fun fact. She put her hand up in desperation. "And this is the part where you tell me how to vanquish them, right," she wondered why Leo was acting so weird about this. "Paige. These demons were the same ones who killed Grace Warren. They are tricky and when together, some say, unstoppable," Leo took in a deep breath. "I think they might be...maybe be trying to finish something they started." Paige, again, waited for more but Leo gave no more information. "Oh would you spit it out already, my charge may be in danger, Leo." "Okay, but your not going to like it. I didn't tell Piper everything, because I don't want her to worry," he still couldn't tell Paige, not until he was sure but he had to tell someone, and Paige was the best candidate so far, being the in-control whitelighter she was, especially lately. "These demonic twins wanted power. Lots of it, they saw no stronger opponents, in their eyes it was just a matter of rank. So they went up against the strongest witch of their time." Paige was beginning to catch on. "Grace Warren," she said nodding. "Correct. It was a close fight, but in the end, the power was too much for Grace to handle," he looked down for a second. "The demons got their power by killing innocents and other witches, slowly working their way up the ladder until they got to Grace herself. Yet they have no active powers, so we don't know how they kill for sure." Unable to hold herself, Paige walked over to the sofa and plopped down, a cloud of dust swirling around in her face. "So how do you think they kill," she asked. "By feeding on the insecurities of mortals. Maybe their mental weaknesses, could be even fear. Whatever it is, no one has ever survived it," Leo left the book open and walked over to the window, poor guy was only human, and just found out terrible demons have resurface and might be after his family. Paige then looked down at the paper she was holding. The paper with the drawing. "Well, what about my charge, Heidi. She survived this morning, maybe I could-" Leo cut her off. "I'm afraid she won't be much help. These demon's magic work over time, your charge luckily only encountered one. Most demonic groups don't send everyone in unless for the collective power, which is where I think, their power lies. When their together." "Like us, right," Paige asked. Leo nodded. "Well, whether their after us or not, they need to be stopped, I'm calling Phoebe," she whipped out her cell phone and instantly started to dial the numbers. As she waited for her to pick up, Paige got up and walked over to the book, seeing the page up close for the first time. "Paige!" Phoebe perked up on the other line. "Hey, Pheebs, you busy. There's a problem." "Uh, no, why. What's up," On Phoebe's end, someone was talking in the background. Paige ignored it, "There's an...emergency. A big one, how fast can you make it over here? I'm at the manor." "I'm already half there actually," the voice in the background sounded again. Paige's eyebrow lifted, "Phoebe? Why do I hear Glenn in the background?" "Oh, I decided to stop by. Henry let me in on his way out. You want me to bring him?" Paige didn't know whether this was good thing or bad thing. "I don't know. I wouldn't want him to be around when..." Phoebe understood, "Gotcha. Hey, maybe Billie can come over and keep him company." Paige thought about it. "Maybe. Just make sure Piper doesn't find out about this. It's bad enough she has to deal with her as my charge. And tell Glenn I'll explain everything to him soon." "Okie dokie. Hope he doesn't mind being watched for a few hours," the voice was heard in the background again. "Paige? I'll call when I'm on my way." Click. Glenn must have protested. Paige knew him, but she also knew if anyone could explain anything to anybody, it was Phoebe. But what was stronger? Phoebe's reasoning or Glenn's stubbornness? "Piper should be back within the hour," Leo said coming out his window therapy. "I'm going to go down and check on Chris." With that, he left the room. Paige turned her body towards the window letting the morning sun hit her pale face. She sighed, talking to the empty attic, "Welcome home, Glenn."

Chapter Four "Hello," Phoebe shouted entering the manor, a determined Glenn not too far behind her. She got off the phone with Paige almost an hour ago. She would have been here sooner but someone was being very difficult, Glenn Poking her head out from the kitchen, Piper shouted, "In here," then poked it right back in. Just at that moment, Phoebe could smell the familiar aroma of potion ingredients being mixed together in brews 250 degrees Fahrenheit. She and Glenn made their way into the kitchen. "While you were out," Piper said her head buried in the book. "I took the liberty of calling Rick -" Phoebe cut her off. "Wait, Rick? You hired him back?" Phoebe asked remember the old manager from before. Piper looked up and saw Glenn for the first time since he walked in the house. "Yes! And hello to you," she said not wholly susceptible to the idea of mortals being around at times like this. Times like this. Times Piper deeply regretted and wished were forever over. Was this ever going to stop? Glenn smiled and waved, "Hey, Piper. Is that a potion," Glenn said clearly interested, taking it upon himself to get a closer look. "Yes, it is, and I'd mind if you keep your distance. It's a vanquishing potion and they seem to go...poof, a lot." Piper warned him without even looking at him, her eyes now fixated on the book. Glenn stopped in his tracks and slowly took a step back, "Sorry." Phoebe rolled her eyes. "You were saying. About Rick." Her anticipation was now too much to hide. She asked Piper to check her contacts and try to find a photojournalist for the Bay Mirror. "Well do you want the good news or the bad news first?" Piper loved asking that question. Phoebe thought about it. "Good news?" She sounded unsure. Piper continued on, "Well, we just had a photographer come in the other day taking some shots for 415. But, he told Rick that he only did magazines. He also had no experience in journalism whatsoever," she told her sister. Phoebe felt hopeless at this point. Nothing to do now, except trust Elise would find someone. It was Glenn who now spoke. "Hold on. Are you looking for a photographer or something," he asked with genuine curiosity. This threw Phoebe off. "Yes. The Bay Mirror is in desperate need of a photojournalist. Last minute thing, why?" She wanted to know now. Glenn's face lit up. "I just happened to be a photographer. I took up classes when I knew I wanted to travel." Piper picked up something green and dry, but it was not an herb. "There's your chance," this was directed towards Phoebe. Phoebe looked at her sister, then back to Glenn. "But we're not looking for a photographer, Glenn." "I did journalism in High School and community college. I take pictures all the time. Come one, Phoebe. I'm your man. And I need a job," he admitted. Piper perked up again, "At least he's honest." "I don't know," Phoebe said. Would Elise even give him a second glance? She knew how Elise could be picky. But if Phoebe could get hired like that, then maybe there was hope for Glenn. "Okay. I'll talk with my boss and see what she says." Glenn raised his shoulders in gratitude, "Awesome, Phoebe. Really. You have no idea how much I wanted to work in journalism. Oh wait until Paige hears about this." Phoebe put up her finger to stop him." Now this doesn't mean you get the job. I said I'll talk to her. And speaking of," she now turned towards Piper. "Where is Paige?" Reducing the heat on the pot to SIMMER, she then put a lid on it, "She left a few minutes ago to go check on her charge and see if she can get any clues about how to find....." Piper stopped and looked up. "Oh! You don't know what's going on, do you?" Phoebe remembered Paige's words earlier. An emergency. Guess this was what Piper was talking about. "No, not really. Glenn, maybe you should go in the other room, watch a little TV or something." She didn't want Glenn to be around at ALL times, that was too much. Knowing how sisters were, Glenn understood. He nodded, "Have as much time as you like," he said turning and going into the licing room. He plopped onto the couch and sighed, not even touching the remote. He hadn't seen Paige all day. Ever since she became serious about being a whitelighter, she's been different. Just like when she became serious about being a witch. Glenn was slowly losing his best friend. He now wished he had rather took Phoebe's advice and spend some time with that girl, Billie. Beats sitting around the manor, waiting for a demon to attack or something....Wow, he was actually thinking like a person who had encounters with magic everyday. Glenn was indeed, an exception to the rule and he adjusted the quickest to it. Maybe Glenn was in the right place. But why? If it's one thing he knew from knowing Paige and her family, it's that everything happens for a reason. He reached over and grabbed the remote, powering on the TV. He would just sit here in the meantime and watch some daytime drama until his destiny called on him again. This was where he belonged. He knew it. ...and then he heard a scream. He jumped up, instantly identifying the scream to be Phoebe's. Running towards the kitchen door, he swung it open wildly and barged in to see Phoebe huddled over the counter in heavy breaths, while Piper waited for her to catch her calm. "Wha-what happened," Glenn asked, wondering why Piper was so calm. Piper ignored Glenn, seeing the pain in her sister's eyes, she knew she just had a premonition, a big one. Glenn's curiosity could wait. "What did you see?" Phoebe looked up at Piper. At that instant, Piper knew what Phoebe saw. Death. One of them were going to die, she knew it. She knew her sister. "I saw you....killing Glenn." Phoebe couldn't bare to turn around to see the look on Glenn's face. She could feel his shock, literally, through her powers. She could feel the confusion. She could feel the fear.

Heh. I wish Glenn had told Henry that Paige hit on him first. lol Too bad. But I love how coy Glenn played with him. Henry's a nice guy, but I can't wait for Paige to realize that she never stopped loving Glenn. I want them back together! lol And I love how Glenn's stubbornness outwon Phoebe's reasoning. I guess the Halliwells finally found someone just as stubborn as they are! (Oh my gosh, just imagine how stubborn a Paiglenn child will be! ) But you caught me offguard there with that premonition! Piper must get possessed or something. Or maybe there are shapeshifters. I'm very eager to find out! And I wonder what Glenn's reaction will be when he finally does say something. Update soon!

Yea, their child would be so stubborn. lol, I could see it now. Ok, here it is.
Chapter Five "Easy, easy," Piper lowered Phoebe onto the kitchen chair, she could see her sister was a little drained from the premonition. They were indeed getting stronger. "Now what did you see, exactly," Piper also took a seat. Her eyes darted towards the empty chair opposite her and back to Glen who was still standing with a look of bewilderment on his face. Poor guy, she thought. She could only imagine what he was thinking right now. Now that it was Phoebe's turn to talk and say exactly what she saw, Glenn took a step closer and listened with eagerness. This was his life after all. "Uh," Phoebe drew out, "It was...in some kind of a field, football, I think. Glenn was..." she struggled to remember the details, "fiddling with something, then Piper came up behind you," she was now talking directly to Glenn. "She looked pissed. Felt pissed. And she....blew you,"she exhaled, "...blew you up." Glenn slapped his sides. "Nice to know how you really feel about me, Piper," his tone was dryly sarcastic. Piper rolled her eyes. "Look, usually these things don't come true. And how do you know there isn't a shapeshifter involved? Or maybe..." "Maybe I'm really a demon," Glenn suggested, knowing that's what she was probably thinking. "No," Piper said. She trusted Glenn, at least enough to know he wasn't evil. He'd known Paige before he knew she was even a witch. Heck, he knew her before Paige herself found out she was a witch. But Piper also knew that nothing was to be ruled out. Anything was possible. "I'm not saying you are a demon. I'm just saying that we have to consider all the possibilities," she saw that Phoebe was still focused on her breathing, which was not even completely steady yet. "You okay, sweetie?" She nodded, "I'm fine. I just have to get used to this new power boost," ever since she married Coop, the love of her life, she finally felt complete, whole, on top of the world. Her powers being tied to her emotions grew with her. Her premonitions were more in depth. The colors were brighter, the sounds were louder, the feelings were practically her own, and sometimes she didn't even need to touch anything. But this power boost lasted for a whole year, her visions becoming stronger and stronger. Piper worried when Phoebe's power would strop growing. What if it kept getting stronger and one day, fully succumbed her. It was in Piper's nature to worry but she knew that their powers were a gift, not a curse. "Hello?" Glenn's voice broke the two sisters' thought trains. "Kinda marked for death here," a thought occurred, he hesitated to ask. "Is there some sort of time limit?" "Ahh," Phoebe put her head in her hands. "I think...between the hours of six and seven tonight." Piper was impressed. "You sure? That's hell of a time frame." She nodded again, "Yeah. I can't explain it, but it's like the time of the premonition is in my subconscious and I'm slowly becoming more aware of it. Like a slow build up of deja vu." The phone rang. Piper got up, "Glenn. Usually when these things happen, we continue our daily routine, you know, watch out for signs, consider the cause, or whatever. At least until something comes up." She didn't know where she was going with this. "Just try not to worry." She smiled as she walked into the other room to retrieve the cordless phone. Going over Piper's words, it started to make sense. Why sit here all day waiting to die right? Sighing, he finally sat down, adjacent Phoebe. "Phoebe?" He made sure he got her full attention. She looked up and looked Glenn in his eyes. Phoebe, herself, seemed to be back to normal now. "Yes?" His voice was low, though still able to be heard. "Do your visions always come true," he muttered. Phoebe gave him a reassuring smile as she touched his arm for comfort. "No. They don't. We can change the future, I'm positive. And Piper would never kill an innocent. Especially you, Glenn." He contemplated, Phoebe was right. "Ha, wait until Paige hears this one." Phoebe chuckled lightly. She could see why Paige liked this guy, he was real easy to get along with and made even the worse scenarios a bit more comfortable with his humor, which never seemed to die. At her cue, Paige orbed in. The white lights were still going to take some getting used to. Glenn couldn't believe it was Paige who was opening his world up to things he never considered real. She really was something else. Glenn loved when others opened up his mind to new things. Paige was real good at that. He sat there, staring at her for a second. She looked so much more matured. Haven't seeing her all morning, made this moment even more cherished. "Glenn! Your here...at the manor," she said half smiling. She felt bad for leaving him at her house earlier, but duty called. "Sorry about this morning, but today has been very hectic." She looked at Phoebe now, "We have a serious problem." Phoebe returned the look as if saying, "No kidding." Confused by her sister's look. She turned to Glenn who shared the same one. "Okay, what's going on?" Paige crossed her arms wondering why they were acting so strange and where Piper was, for her potion stuff was still out. And it was at that moment that Piper came in. "Phoebe. Elise has been calling all around looking for you. I told her you stepped out but she said to come in immediately or else." She saw the new visitor. "Paige. You're back." Paige sensed the urgency in Piper's tone. Then Phoebe piped up, "Oh no, Elise!" Glenn watched the three sisters all go nuts at once. So this was what it was like when normal life and magical life intervened with each other. "Uhm, Paige?" He started to tell her. "No!" Phoebe grabbed Glenn. "Piper can fill her in. You need to come with me. I don't think Elise knows I found someone yet." "But-" Glenn started but was cut off. "Actually, I have something to tell you guys. And fill me in on what," Paige was started to get a migraine. Phoebe got up and practically dragged Glenn with her. "Come on. Come on." "But-" he started again but Phoebe was on a mission. "Guess I'll talk to you later, Paige," he called as he was practically dragged out of the kitchen. Damnit, was he ever going to spend some time with Paige? "Okay, this can't wait. But what the hell is going on, Piper. And what was that whole, Elise thing about, about Phoebe finding somebody?" Piper gave her a lost look. "Umm...well, Phoebe had a premonition of me blowing up Glenn, who by the way, is being hired by Elise to work at the Bay Mirror...you?" Paige nodded, trying to take it all in. "Well...another one of my charges has been attacked by the same demon. And I think we're being targeted...or at least I am." Her face was still in shock, getting whiter and whiter. "Did you just say...." Piper nodded, confirming that everything she said was true. After all these years, she learned to deal with news like this without overreacting, though it took her the most to adjust, her being the worry wart. "You think their connected," Piper asked Paige. "Most likely," she replied. "Do you think they're going to attack soon?" A loud crash was then heard in the living room. Piper turned and then gave Paige an alarmed look. "Most likely." The two sisters hurried to go see what the cause of the crash was. When they were in the foyer, they could see a pair of feet sticking out from the living room. Paige recognized them to be Phoebe's. Leo came running down the stairs in urgency. "What's going on?" By the time everything was clear it was too late. Standing in the living room, was a demon. He was red, small and had on tattered clothing. He wasn't menacing at all, but the thing Paige found most menacing about him was the way he was looking at Glenn. Glenn was in the corner, his limb body against the wall. The demon looked at him as if he were something sent down from above, just for him. Paige didn't like it. She stepped forwards before Piper could react. "ATHAME!" She yelled. An athame then orbed into her hands, from upstairs. She hurled it towards the demon, to protect her friend from his ugly gaze. The demon, aware of what was happening quickly hesitated, and then was gone in a shimmer. The athame hit the other side of the wall. Paige stared the spot where he disappeared, taking in every detail she could remember so she could hunt the bastard down and vanquish him. Leo's shuffling feet disrupted her. He was knelt over Glenn, while Piper was waking up Phoebe. "Glen!" She ran over to him and knelt down. Glenn easily came to, he wasn't knocked out that hard. "What happened?" Glenn's forehead was bleeding. Paige looked towards the spot where the demon disappear before returning her gaze to Glenn again. "A demon just signed his own death warrant."

Chapter Six "Did you find anything," Leo asked Paige as she flipped through the book. Leo, Paige, Glenn and Phoebe were all now in the conservatory. Piper was in the kitchen finishing her potions while little Chris watched her, or she watched him. Even though she hated her sons being around during times like these. Glenn was sprawled out on the love seat, his head was pounding. He groaned a little while he turns towards Paige's direction. She heard Glenn and turned towards him before answering Leo's question. Their eyes met and Glenn could see that Paige was really determined towards killing that demon and keeping Glenn safe. Paige could see that Glenn totally and completely trusted her. Leo noticed Paige was not paying attention, "Paige?" "Oh, sorry," she said noticing she and Glenn were staring at each other. Good thing Henry wasn't here to see that, even though it was all completely friendly. "He's in here but unfortunately, it's not exactly him." The confused Leo burrowed his brow while Phoebe came over to see what Paige was talking about also. Paige turned the book towards them. "See. A family of eccentric demons meant for hire. Each of them have their own special power. Our demon is one of the few that isn't listed." Leo's bend down to better see the book. "They must be pretty powerful, look, he has a brother who can incinerate from the inside out." Phoebe also took a better look. "And a sister who destroys the bonds between people by bringing out their inner demon and faulting their memory. That's...some stuff." Paige agreed with Phoebe, this was something else. Powerful demons who are meant for hire. Who in the hell would hire them to come after them? Was that demon even after them? He was looking directly at Glenn. Like someone was targeting all the people closest to Paige. Then a thought occurred. "Oh my god, Leo, I think I know who hired them," she took the book again and started to frantically flip. Glenn watched with eager eyes. "Remember, the demon who attacked my charge. Well he attacked another one of my charges earlier and now coincidentally, a hired demon attacks Glenn." Leo was starting to catch on. Then she found the page with the demonic twins on it. She continued, "I think they hired the demon." Phoebe glanced at the page, she sat down next to her sister, the sunlight hitting her dark hair. "It says they have no active powers, it could be possible that's why the needed to hire someone." "Yes, but why would they attack my charges if they have no active powers? I mean, Glenn is no witch so you would think they wouldn't need a demon." Leo shook his head. "But Glenn is here, protected by the Charmed Ones no less. Surely they wouldn't come barging in with no active powers against you guys." Paige nodded, it made sense. Still she needed to figure out why they were doing this. If they were after her, then Glenn was not safe with her. "Phoebe, can you take Glenn for me. I don't think it's safe for him to be around me right now." "No," Glenn sat up, "I'm not leaving. Paige, your always trying to protect me and I get it, I do, but sometimes running isn't the best option. And how can you be sure if these demons are even after you?" Paige sighed, "Glenn it's not running, it's making sure your safe, out there in the real world, they won't dare attack you in public. And I'm not exactly sure their after me which is just another reason why we should be careful," she stood up. "No more arguing, mister, your going and that's final." She crossed her arms in a prissy way, highlighting her point. Glenn knew very well, that Paige was serious about this whole thing, and he did want to survive. But to leave Paige...again? "Come on," Phoebe stood and ran over to Glenn, and gently but eagerly pulled him up. "I know exactly where we can go and relax and forget this whole thing ever happened." Having a feeling that she was talking about that new job, Glenn didn't need to ask. Though her boss sounded like a scary woman. "Okay, but I don't like it." Phoebe patted his back, "Cheer up, Glenn. Everything is going to be fine." He winced as her hand made contact with his skin. "It won't unless you keep touching my bruises." "Oh, sorry." She apologized humbly as she turned towards Paige and Leo. "Can you guys handle this without me," she knew the answer already. Paige nodded as did Leo. Phoebe's phone started to ring. She had a feeling it was Elise, her persistent boss. She grabbed Glenn, "Okay, okay, we're leaving, we're leaving." Paige watched her sister and best friend make off, she shook her head. This day was getting more interesting by the minute, and it wasn't even noon yet. She then heard running feet, coming towards the sun room. She noticed the feet were little. "Hey, little guy," Paige greeted her nephew, Chris. Piper came walking right behind him. "Potion's done," she announced. "Now how about we do a little scrying?" Leo shared a skeptic look with Paige. "What," Piper asked. "I think we should hold off, we wouldn't want to end up fighting a family of uniquely gifted demonic assassins," Paige told her. Piper looked confused but guessed they found him in the book. "Oh crap." Were they ever going to get a break? "Phoebe! There you are!" Elise shouted, walking towards her a stern look on her face. "Whose this?" She looked at Glenn. Glenn knew this her boss. "Hi, I'm Glenn," he held his hand out for her to shake, best to make a good impression. But instead Elise looked at it. She was too stressed to even make pleasantries. Phoebe caught on to that. "This is a family friend. He's interested in the new position." Elise put her hands up, "Phoebe! Thank god, you pulled through," she looked at Glenn and held out her hand, "Nice to meet you, Clint." "Umm, it's Glenn," he corrected her. She laughed and waved it off. Then let go of his hand and got serious. "Now, you need to be good and you need to be fast. JANET!" A woman ran up to Elise and gave her a piece of paper, She smiled at Phoebe and Glenn before hurriedly getting back to work. "This is your first assignment. It will determine if your hired or not. I want those pictures by noon." She turned to leave. Glenn started to call her back, but Phoebe stopped him. "Trust me, that's all your getting from her," she told him. Glenn looked down at his first assignment. There was something about it that seemed familiar. Like he was already there before, or... "What? What is it," Phoebe noticed the fear in Glenn's face. He showed her the paper. "My assignment is to take pictures of the college football game...on the field." Phoebe's heart dropped. Her premonition! She saw Glenn getting blown up at a football field. Looks like the pieces of the puzzle were starting to come together just a little.

Chapter Seven "Powers of the witches rise Course unseen across the skies Come to us so we may see The thief who took them grudgingly. Half and half the power goes Into these two unworthy foes Bring one forth, so we may do Unto him what we want to." Piper gave her sister a look. "What kind of spell is that?" Paige shrugged, "Well it was on short notice, okay." Paige was always being picked on for her quick, wordy spells. They were easily recognized by the diction in which only Paige could provide. A whirl of wind appeared in the center of the attic. The two sisters waited for it to settle. Paige bent down and dropped the last crystal to complete the crystal cage. In the middle of the cage, stood a tall dark haired man with green eyes and a nasty tattoo on his face. Piper stood a little closer to Paige, seeing as this was the very demon that attacked her two charges and hired someone after her best friend, it would make sense that this was personal for her and she wanted to lend her support. The Book of Shadows said that the demonic twins attacked witches and left them helpless. Paige, and another one her excellent hunches, thought that they somehow absorbed powers, due to her charge's sudden weak powers. Piper was actually surprised the spell worked. "Good hunch by the way," she whispered into her sister's ear. Paige nodded in gratitude then gave the demon a look of poison. "Why did you attack my charges?" Her voice was hard. "It was the only way to get your attention," he hissed. Piper thanked God that this was a cooperative demon, unlike the ones who like to keep their mouths shut. This meant this guy didn't work for anyone, usually the lower levels were scared to say anything in fear of betraying their boss. "What do you mean," asked Paige. "We had to find a way to make sure you were busy. Distract you." Something seemed particularly off about this demon. As if he were expecting to be summoned and asked these questions. Could this be apart of his plan? "For what," she asked him. "So we could get to the boy." His tone was final. "Easy Paige," Piper could feel Paige's body tense. But Piper could also feel that this whole thing seemed off for some reason. "Where's your twin," Piper asked. The spell Paige wrote was only to summon one, since their power can only be used when they were together. The demon smiled but did not answer. Paige then leaped forward to grab the vial of vanquishing potion, "Listen here, you little bastard," she saw Piper's expression change, this was not how Paige usually talked to people, even demons. "You will tell me what the hell is going on or the next thing your going to be seeing is the very very deep depths of hell." The demon eyed Paige then Piper. He was thinking about it. "Well..." he said. "We hired a demon to take care of the boy for us." "We've met. And what is Glenn's concern to you," Paige asked, the potion still raised. "Don't you want to know what his power was. The demon we hired?" The question made Piper and Paige both look at each other. Scared of what the answer might be. Piper was the one to reply. "Okay, tell us." The demon smiled, picking back up his comfortable tone of voice. "The demon we hired has a very special power. He was supposed to use his earlier this morning, unfortunately, you were there." "We know what happened. Now why don't you tell us what the hell his power is already," Paige's voice was raised. "Okay," the menacing demon said, "the demon we hired...was a soul killer. He takes over the bodies of his victims. That's why his appearance is so otherworldly, he doesn't stay in his body for long." "Bastard!" Paige threw the potion at him. "Paige, wait!" But Piper was too slow for her sister's arm. The potion collided with the demon and an explosion sounded. The demon was knocked back, out of the cage, and Piper and Paige both had to duck. When the smoke cleared. Paige could see the demon still standing. He gave her a teasing look and shimmered out. "Dammit!" She shouted. "Piper! We have to go warn Glenn." The two stood. "Do you still have his cell number? I'll go call Phoebe." She nodded as they exit the attic, Paige taking out her cell phone at the same time. "And the Hornets nail another touchdown," Glenn said to himself as he snapped another picture. He was imaging the story in his head and expressing it in his photos. He felt pleased but also unsure seeing this was his first professional photo shooting. He left Phoebe at the Bay Mirror, hours ago for she had work to do just like Glenn did. He decided to come, regardless of what she saw. Looks like his stubbornness won out again. "Omar gains up on Frederick and..." he snapped the photo, "Bathroom break." He felt his bladder about to explode. When he first arrived at the game, he couldn't help but to indulge over by the snack bar. He now regretted drinking that large Pepsi. He looked at the scoreboard, if he hurried, he wouldn't miss the end, the most important part. He then shot off towards the bathroom. This photojournalist thing was actually kind of fun. He wore a special past on his neck, saying he was with the media. How awesome was that? He turned around some buildings and was out of sight from the game. He heard the crowd erupt in cheer. Damn, he had bad timing. Debating on whether he should run back or take a quick tinkle, something red appeared in front of him. The same thing that attacked him in the manor. "Sshh," it said as Glenn felt his body being knocked down from behind by someone. It happened so fast he couldn't react. Feeling his camera break from the fall and his chest bruise up, he tried to struggle but then heard something hard being picked up then saw the world going black.
