Part One
"Is this how you usually live," Patrick asked walking across Billie's dorm room giving her messy bed a once over. There were papers and scrying materials thrown about the surface.
Billie was in the mirror fixing her hair, they had just got out of their feminism class. Patrick found any class dealing with how people were being treated and portrayed was very interesting. His humanitarian ways and strong beliefs made him a great participant in the class. Billie on the other hand, had fallen asleep, the reason her hair was now in the process of being fixed.
"Oh, that old stuff," she took a brush and quickly smoothed her hair out. Easy as 1, 2, 3. "I was just doing some research."
Patrick walked over and sat down on her bed, he picked up a scrying mirror. It was pure black and had an intricate gold rim. "Looks more than research, what were you trying to do?" He found the scrying mirror to be interesting. Since Patrick was half gypsy, he was just naturally interested in divination.
Finally taking her gaze from the mirror, she gave Patrick an anxious look. "I can't believe you were a witch this whole time. Why didn't you tell me?"
Knowing that when Billie got off topic, there was no going back, Patrick decided to drop it for now. He'd only knew Billie for a while but if he were right about her, than Billie was in her room doing God knows what. "I couldn't come up to you and spill my guts out. Exposure risk. And I'm only half witch." He was very proud of his bi-racial status.
"Yeah, yeah, yeah, if you want to play that game then guess what? I'm a mortal. Hello!? Both of my parent's didn't even have powers but I'm still a witch."
"True, but I also have gypsy blood and that's a whole different magical bloodline all by itself, so I'm gypsy too."
Billie shook her head, "Dude, whatever. I still can't believe your cousins with the sisters. It actually makes sense, how can their line only consist of mortals and witches, they were bound to come across another race sometime."
"Yeah, I still can't believe my gramma gave my mother up, but I guess she had to do what she had to do." Patrick's mother was Gram's daughter, she married a gypsy and gave birth to Patrick, cousin to the Halliwell sisters and the first magical gypsy/witch with pure blood. "Hey, what's this?"
Patrick noticed a piece of old paper dangling from Billie's diary.
Billie's energy went a notch up, "Oh my god, I found that in the library of Magic School, you know, the part is prohibited from students. But it's a spell to awaken your inner potential. It's permanent, has no side effects, and its personal gain free."
Patrick looked a little confused, "You don't seem all that awakened to me, and I would sense it...I'm a gypsy."
Billie sighed, "I never had enough power for it to work....Oh my god, Patrick!"
Patrick knew what she was thinking, "I don't know, Billie. Don't you think we should let things come in their own time?"
"Screw that, like I said, no personal gain, and side effect free, what else could you want?" Billie hopped on over to Patrick and snatched up the spell. She was sure that her and Patrick's power combined would work.
"Umm, how about a normal balance to all things. Everything is as it shall be, why rush what's meant to be?" He hoped he was getting through to her.
"Why wait?" Billie proposed a nice argument, "And I know your dying to see what your power is like when you've fully embraced your self and discovered your true inner self or whatever it is you gypsies believe in."
Patrick sighed. "Oh, so NOW I'm a gypsy?"
"Oh, come on. Please. If you don't like it, we can reverse it. Promise."
Patrick thought about it. He actually wanted a peak of what his mind would be like once he got through all the mumbled chaos and jumbled up thoughts. His divination was lacking lately. "Fine."

"This is the last demon, I promise," Piper leaned over the table and grabbed a box of baking powder. She was cooking dinner and brewing a potion at the same time, it has become an easy task over her years of experience, she just never had a chance to cook and vanquish demons at the same time, but now threats weren't as high nor time consuming.
Leo's forehead creased with worry lines, "You said that the last time and...Wyatt's off at school most of the day and he can most likely protect himself but what about Chris? He can't stay in Magic School forever and I know deep down you want all of this to end."
Piper hated when Leo got like this, he wasn't her whitelighter anymore but it was times like these she wished he was. What happened to the good old days, when Leo was cheering for her to go vanquish some evil?
"I know, Leo, I do. But this is my job and you need to deal with it. Uh, could you pass me the ginger, I left it on the table."
Leo gave up, there was no point in trying to convince Piper these days, she seemed so at peace and on top of everything. He actually liked seeing her this happy, but he was afraid if she kept chasing demons then her life would start going down that spiral again, he surely didn't want that. "Here you go," he said retrieving the ginger for her.
"Thank you," she took it and sprinkled a dash in a pot, whether it was food or a potion was unknown. "Can you call Paige? I know she has her new job and everything, but I might need the Power of Three for this one?"
"What! The Power of Three? Piper!?" Leo imagined it to be a small time demon, but an upper level demon that needs the Power of Three?
"Yes, Leo. Paige. Phone. Are you up to it?"
Leo stood straight and walked over to the cordless and dialed the number to South Bay Social Services, he never thought he'd be calling that place again, not after Paige quit after getting a promotion. But she went back and started right where she left off, social worker.

"You got all the ingredients that fast?" Patrick asked eying the bowl now on Billie's dorm room floor.
Billie put a guilty look on her face, "I might have improvised on a few..."
Patrick knew her cryptic meaning, "You used your powers?"
"I used my powers," she said, too giddy to even act ashamed.
"Whatever," Patrick said, looking over the instructions one more time. "It says that it will awaken all the energy in the room, dormant and otherwise. Are you sure there is no resident demonic energy in here?"
"Please, the only resident energy in here, is from the demons in my dreams. I sleep here, I don't vanquish demons at school. Now can you stop being so worried about it and come on?"
Patrick hated being called a worrywart, he was not the worrying type at all, just had to make sure everything was right first. "Just making sure, that's all." He held out his hands for Billie to take.
She took them and started the chant,
"Spiritual energy of our circle round
We call to you with all thoughts bound
Open are our minds, free are our souls
Grant to us what we already hold,"
Patrick continued,
"Unlock the doors
As all energy pours
To here this ground
From above, make profound"
A light breeze settled in the room and saturated the air. Billie felt the air getting lighter and the ground more solid. She could see the colors of her room much more brightly and sense the magic everywhere, it was like her mind's eye had opened up.
With Patrick it was different. He could see what other people might only sense. It was like he was looking at auras everywhere, and he could feel everything connected. It was like he could control everything if he wanted, but at the same time knew he couldn't.
While the two sat in amazement, they were however, unaware of the negative energy now arising from the grounds of the university. Demonic energy.

"I'm sorry, but I have to vanquish a you-know-what with my sisters, we'll just have to reschedule or something, can't they put it on hold?" Paige was not talking on her phone at work. Henry was on the other line.
"Well how am I supposed to know that dinner reservations can't be held.....well we have you to blame for that now don't we....sorry, that was harsh. Look, I know all of that really, but I can't start neglecting my duties as you-know-what....Ummm, after that?"
Paige made a face, "You see, I kinda promised my charge that I would come to her piano recital....No you don't understand, she's just been moved from a foster home and needs all the support she can get, this piano thing is all she has going on for her, besides her future of course.....Henry! Uh...fine, I'll talk to you later."
Paige hung up and put her hands in her head regaining her previous thoughts before the Leo and Henry called her. How was she to focus on her new job when her sisters constantly needer her, and her husband too. She was doing a fine job but it still was head boggling. She stood to get a cup of coffee and that's when her phone rang again it was her direct line. She read the Caller ID and picked it up, "Yea, Leo?....what! Now! But this divorce paper needs to go through now and I'm the only one-....Leo, please, can it wait?"
Just then Paige felt herself orb to the manor without giving it a second thought, RIGHT IN FRONT OF HER COWORKERS!
Paige turned around frantically, looking at her coworker's faces, they didn't seem to see a thing. How weird, she could have sworn she orbed.
*
"Gee, Paige, you could have at least hung up the phone," said Leo back at the manor as he saw Paige orb in in front of him.
Paige looked at Leo and at herself bewildered.
*
"Umm, Leo, I didn't hang up the phone," Paige said into her phone at South Bay Social Services.
*
Leo looked at the phone in his hand, "Paige? How can you still be talking into the phone and your right....here," Leo eyed the Paige in front of him.
"What the hell is going on," Paige asked staring at Leo. She looked around, she was in the manor's conservatory.
Leo blinked, searching his brain through all of the magical knowledge he had stored in there. He found a theory. "Uh, Paige," he spoke in to the phone. Are you at your job right now?....you are?....hang on," he looked at the Paige in front of him. "I think you just cloned yourself."
