I don't think that Shannen's a "bad girl." To me she looks like a really nice person. Her fans don't believe she is a "bad girl". I'm referring to the ignorance of the public who believe tabloids and can't let go of the past. I personally think she's a wonderful person who if often misjudged. |

You've basically summed up this fellow fan's feelings too, TOP3. I truely admire her for putting up with all the tabloid / media B.S. as well as she has for as long as she has -- that cannot be easy. Honestly, I can't say that I would be handling it nearly as well if I were in that same position.
It's just a shame that people (and the tabloids especially) can't seem to bring themselves to let go of the past and move on.

I was walking around walmart and saw a movie with Shannen Doherty on the front cover called Christmas Capers. How come I never heard about it until now?

And I think I've got an answer to your question, Jate.
Christmas Caper was a (in my opinion, quite good) made-for-TV movie produced in 2007 by and for the ABC Family cable station for their "25 Days Of Christmas" line-up that runs from basically the day after Thanksgiving until Christmas. It just came out on DVD around the '08 holidays.
Being the geek that I am, I taped it (yes, using a VCR) when it originally aired in November '07. But now that you've mentioned that it's now on DVD, I think I'll have to pick myself up a copy the next time I'm out.

I haven't heard of either movie. Anyone know anything about what they're supposed to be about and what Shannen's character is supposed to be like? Someone mentioned Christmas Caper earlier. I saw it on the ABC Family Channel and it was fantastic! Shannen did a marvelous job, as we all knew she would. Her character was a combination of Prue and Phoebe, if you can imagine that! In fact, a lot of it reminded me of Charmed. Her sister and brother-in-law reminded me SOOO much of Piper and Leo! And, oh, yes, her ex-boyfriend, a sheriff, could SOO easily have been Andy! The little girl reminded me of Little Prue or Little Piper from "That Seventies Episode", or, better, Little Melinda from "Morality Bites" (oh, do you want to hug her!) and the little boy is a young Chris as a kid in a GOOD way!  You can SO see him turning out like S6 Chris if he didn't have his aunt show up! The names would remind you of Charmed, too--the sister's name is HOLLY and the brother-in-law's name is BRIAN! I have no idea if any of these were done on purpose, but I loved the Charmed-reminders. I'll admit it, if I didn't know Shannen from Charmed, it might have been a bit too cutesy for me, but as is, I thoroughly enjoyed it and recommend that all Shannen-fans at least rent it! This fan definitely plans on buying the DVD! |

Spotted this article while I was cruising the 'Net tonight. It's short, but still quite interesting.
Granted, she's working on photoshoots as the art director and not as a photgrapher -- but that still sounds oddly like a certain Halliwell, doesn't it?

Wow! You're right, Primrose! That definitely sounds like a certain Halliwell...I could see Prue eventually becoming something like that at 415 if she hadn't died--MUCH more than owning the place, like she did in "Morality Bites". Speaking of...that's today! February 26, 2009! I'm just sad if this means we won't get to see Shannen act anymore.  |

Where does it say that she has retired from acting? Since Shannen is set for life, she just goes out for roles that she is interested in which she has been doing for awhile now, so I doubt this will interfere with her acting.

Well, I have some great news for all you Shannen fans. She actually has three movies that are all in post production. The first one is "The Beautiful Outsiders," and her character is Sarah Fugate.
