Personally i dont like this. It's not right going on TV and breaking up with your partner, it is not ver nice for them.

It was so good! Really really cute.
Although the Cate thing wasn't working for me. I just kept thinking Prue. Because that's who she is, SD is Prue. She just looks like one lol.
At one point in the movie, I believe it was in the beginning...when Cate shut the door she then turned around and made that Prue "Ohh" face (when she squints her eyes)..if you know what I mean. And I thought to myself..she still has that Prue in her.
Lol ok, yes this was my first SD appearance I've seen after Charmed. Well I did watch her in some episodes of "Breaking Up..." but this was my first time seeing her really act on screen since being Prue. I didn't watch North Shore, or watch any Lifetime or short-film thing she's ever been on.
Anyways the movie was so sweet, and it was great to finally see Shannen again.
If you didn't catch it I think it is going to be on again Wed. Check your local listings.

Oh goodness charmedfan4ever, you really should try and catch some of her other TV Movies. She has done some awesome Lifetime movies including Friends Till the End and Sleeping with the Devil. She's such an amazing actress. There's also the movie she did with Julian called "Another Day" that I strongly urge anyone to see.
As for Christmas Caper, it was a very cute movie indeed. I would love to have had an aunt like her when I was a kid! Loved her interaction with the kids. She'd really be a natural mom.
You know I really admire Shannen. Even though she's always labeled as the "bad girl" she doesn't shy away from those parts. But she's such a diverse actress she can really pull of anything.

I just saw Christmas Caper on the Family Channel and enjoyed it tremendously! Shannen did *such* a great job as Cate! Like you, I saw plenty of Prue in Cate, the part of Prue/Cate that is Shannen, I'm sure. The funny thing, tho, it was like watching what Charmed would've been like if Shannen played Phoebe, the bad younger sister rather than Prue the older one! And as soon as I saw Savannah and Brian, I howled--they were just *SO* Piper & Leo! So would that make Parker Wyatt, the bad kid, and Annie Chris, the good kid?? And once Hank showed up, oh, he and Cate together were just *SOOOOO* Prue and Andy! And Hank's partner was definitely Darryl! Clive was most *definitely* the Source! So I howled, thinking that that makes Duffy Cole, which must make Holly Phoebe! (sorry, but no Paiges in this one.)
The best scene was the one between Savannah and Cate at the end--it just *so* made me think Prue and Phoebs, the way I remember and love Phoebs, and made me miss the earlier versions of her and Piper and Leo and Cole SOOOO much!
I can't help but wonder if the character Cate (Catherine) got her name because her character was similar to Catherine Zeta-Jones' character in Entrapment, one of my favorite movies. I also find it funny that there's both a Brian and a Holly.
Here's hoping that some producer sees Christmas Caper and decides to put Shannen back on epsiodic TV--it would be *so* nice to see her in action again! As my siggy says, I've missed her SOOOO much! Shannen, as well as Prue!

Cate kind of had the "Phoebe role" in her, playing the troublemaker in the family. But I still saw Prue more. Hank forgot to mention him....  what a cutie. i wanted to see Christmas Caper but I thought it was on at 12:00 at night not in the after noon so I completely missed it.  If anyone saw it was it really good. |

I know that Shannen's in a movie called Kiss me Deadly. It's already been released. It was released sometime in May of this year.
