In the three short years that Prue was part of the show, she had relationships with a number of different guys. Which guy was your favorite?

Prue / Andy is my favorite of the long-term relationships on the show. I do like hot Bane too, but he really wasn't a long-term relationship.
Don't get me wrong, I like the early version (pre-elder/avatar/mortal) Piper / Leo, S3 & S4 (pre-source) Phoebe / Cole and what little we saw of Paige / Henry. However, there was just something special and "un-Kerned" about Prue / Andy that sets that relationship apart in my eyes.

The only other person in there I think Prue liked is Bane but i just thought there was so much between Prue and Andy from the first time they saw each other again. You just knew they were going to be together. Also with their history it just made me like them allot more.

Well, Andy is my favorite character period and Prue is my favorite Charmed One, so I voted for Andy. I miss them both . . . more than the rest of the show.

Definitely Andy, becasue if both of them were still alive, they would evolved into a really close and deep relationship. And they might have even gotten married! They loved each other even until death so...

Andy was great and all, and I loved his relationship with Prue. But I also loved her brief relationship with Bane since it was the total opposite of what kind of guy I ever expected Prue to hook up with.

Other: Cole So much potential here. The story lines would have been much better. More adult/mature. Then what we got with Cole and Phoebe. Also the crazy hot chemistry the actors have.  |

It seems many people have hard time working with Dorothy Not sure who "Dorothy" is, but typical Es, my reaction hasn't changed much and it's quite a bit different than most fans. Despite their fantastic chemistry (I REALLY wish they'd matched him with Prue rather than Phoebe - then even after Prue dies, Phoebe could still be Phoebs, my favorite sister, and not continue as PhoeME, my least-favorite sister) I don't think that Cole is Prue's soulmate (or Phoebe's or Piper's, for that matter) because he's too old. He was 100 years old in 'Centennial Charmed', so he'd be alive as Cole during 'Pardon My Past' If he was soulmates of any of the Halliwells, he would've been part of that episode. Nor do I think Andy is Prue's soulmate for the opposite reason - no chemistry. For me, Andy will always be Prue's next-door neighbor, her first love. First loves are special, but usually not soulmates. And definitely not Jack - he was just for fun while Prue was getting over losing Andy. Nope, for me, I think the guy for Prue was Bane. Fantastic chemistry and just a bit evil, something Prue needed - the reason why I'd be rooting for Cole if he wasn't so old - one of many reasons why I wish they hadn't matched Piper with Leo - he's much too old for her! I prefer the sisters with someone closer to their own age who could accept a more modern woman. |

And I don't believe they didn't like each other on set. There's never been any true knowledge that Ted and Shannen didn't get along. If they did, they get along enough to attend a fan convention years back and pose for a photo and caught up. If you have sources, I'm willing to admit I'm wrong. I'll always take all the tabloid gossip with a grain of salt. And always trust what the actual cast say. Much like Holly explaining the circutances to Shannen's firing.

It's why I turned off my autocorrect many, many years ago and despite my typos, I've never been tempted to turn it back on. Good thing you didn't turn it back on, I'd not recommend it. Ah thanks Es. Sure sounds like the chemistry they had was just more friends than lovers. I wonder if it means they didn't do a chemistry read test. Most actors do that to see if there's real chemistry (so often they don't and it leads to there "it" couple failing to deliver on a love story). I wonder how Shannen and the original Andy would've done if that actor stuck around and wasn't recasst. I don't know. I feel it would be more weird. That actor looked way too young opposite Shannen and someone who I'd think would've been better off matched with Alyssa. But who am I to judge based off one unaired pilot. |
