Why do the sisters not mention Prue that much?

It always bugged me that they didn't bring up Prue very much, particularly after season 4. I like to think that there was a whole lotta' Prue reminiscing that we didn't get to see.

And what bothered me even more than the scarce Prue mentions, was the lack of photos they had around the house of Prue. Was there any? But I understand that this was due to off screen complications more than anything else.

I just wish they would have acknowledged Prue a little more. To me it was kind of as if when Paige became a 'fully-fledged' witch/whitelighter/member of the family, Prue's death didn't matter so much since the Power Of Three had been restored...

I have never thought of anything like that, but from now on I'm going to believe that they did that... Because that is just absolutely perfect!

I think it was only at the end of Season 7 where the sisters thanked Prue for using her Astral Projection to distract Zankou but otherwise, nothing. Though I don't understand how Prue could have taught Leo that when being alive still?!

A shrine for Prue by Piper is a good idea and would also make sense since Piper's kids share the same power like their dead aunt: Telekinesis and it might be no wonder if one of the boys also develops Astral Projection. Who knows?

Hmm, well realistically, we can't really moan when it was Shannen herself that didn't want her photos being used, and I think they mentioned Prue when neccessary - she was mentioned in Seasons 4 & 5 quite a bit and still in the later seasons. In all honesty, my family and I have cherished loved ones who are no longer with us, but we don't talk about them all the time, but it doesn't mean we're not thinking about them.

Well, you're probably right that Alyssa is the reason why Shannen is gone, but not the reason why Shannen left, since she didn't leave; she was fired. But I'm sure that Alyssa had something to do with that--she was too gleeful not to be. And that--Alyssa not being able to leave Alyssa behind and play Phoebe as PHOEBE, not Alyssa--was one of the things that Shannen complained about that probably got her fired. And seeing how Alyssa played Phoebe mourning definitely proves Shannne's point.

I thought that Shannen's real nemesis on the set was Brad Kern, not Alyssa Milano. According to HMC, he was.

I agree with ljones. Whatever happened between Alyssa and Shannen , it's over they are good now. Brad Kern screwed our show.

It's interesting, because I think Alyssa/Shannen's on screen acting in Season 3 was their strongest point in their relationship. I think Phoebe missed Prue, but Phoebe has always had a hard time dealing with her feelings, and ignores a lot of them. Sure Alyssa's performance in season 4 wasn't stellar, but it was a very awkward situation.. She was thrown in the middle of Holly and Brad so to speak. I do think that Alyssa and Holly were very close as the show went on.

Also wanted to clear something up: I am not making excuses for Alyssa's performance - she is a professional actress and should have been able to seperate the two lives. I am also a professional actor, and I know how hard that is sometimes. We are all only human - we have bad days at work.
