;)i'm angry because in the eigth season, billie have the powers of prue, spelling tv could put an other powers, i feel that billie wanted supplant to prue with her kind to figth ,as use powers, intelligent, do potions and some things. the truth billie don't glad me and also christy. ;D

I think that Billie was a slight reflection of Prue, but totally unintentional.
Billie was independent, like Prue.
Billie had Telekinesis, like Prue.
Billie had Astral Projection, like Prue.
However, unlike Prue I hate Billie.

Billie had Telekinesis, like Prue. Billie had Astral Projection, like Prue. However, unlike Prue I hate Billie. Good job with the comparisons. However although Prue had those powers, Billie had a bigger, more powerful power, making her much more powerful than The Charmed Ones combined, the way Piper's explosion power made her more powerful than The Charmed Ones combined. Also Prue was smart; Billie was the dumb blonde. Prue was based on Connie Burge's older sister, so she behaved like an Oldest. Billie was based on what Brad Kern thought the Charmed Ones should be like. Here's the major difference--Billie was played by a comedian; Prue was played by a fantastically talented actress. |

It always annoyed me how fast Billies powers advanced in comparisons to Prues, seemed a little far fetched to me.

Good point. It seemed to be forgotten that also the boys have Prue's power of telekinesis. We'd seen in Chris Crossed, yet unfortunately their powers hadn't grown that fast in the last season like Billie's had. We only got to see Wyatt's powers but never Chris's. Just his orbing. *sighs*

Es, I still don't understand how you think Piper alone is more powerful than the Charmed Ones. Pipers powers are part of the Charmed Ones. Saying that she is more powerful than their collective power is saying that Phoebe's powers, Paige's powers, and the Power of 3 contribute nothing to the power of 3 and in fact add less than nothing to it. The fact of the matter is regardless of powerful Piper is, she still could not vanquish every demon alone with her exploding power. If you remember, Piper had made several potions that "duplicated her exploding power", so in theory if Phoebe had an endless supply of those potions she could have had that power too. That is just an example, but there were plenty of potions, and vanquishing spells that were far more powerful than Piper's active powers. *EDIT* Es, I just realized your post is a few years old - I know we've discussed something along those lines before. |

I didn't like her either. I like S8 because it's Charmed, and I am glad to see Paige meet her husband, and get married. I was happy to see Leo come back from what happened in S7. I didn't mind Billie too much at first. It was Christy I couldn't stand, and it was than that I started disliking Billie.
After what the girls did to help her. They took her in and treated her like a little sister. Billie knew her sister grew up with a demon, and suddenly she was back in her life, and automatically accepted every word Christy said, and just threw the girls under the bus like they didn't matter anymore. Piper is my fav, but I do know if Prue was there. She would not of accepted that behavior whatsoever.
She is outspoken, and would of gotten to the point of the matter. She would of known something was wrong with Christy from the very beginning. The other girls are blind on that fact, and try to see the best in ppl no matter how they act unless they know otherwise. Normally, that is a good quality in someone, but with what they faced everyday, it's not a good idea.

The biggest difference between Prue and Billie is the innate magical power that they were born with, and not the physical manifestation of their power. Prue's power is always going to be stronger than Billie's no matter what powers Billie may develop.

Of course she accepted Christy's word. Christy was her sister. Her blood relative. She wasn't about to choose the Halliwells over Christy. I've noticed that whenever one of the Halliwells did something seriously wrong, one of them or all remaining sisters backed her up. Remember "Awakened"? Or "Hyde School Reunion"?

Or Chris. After all the horrible things he'd done in the beginning of the season to just automatically accept him because he was a Halliwell (and the son/nephew of totally different Halliwells/Matthewses) was identical to what Billie did. That was the only thing that I wasn't upset at Billie for doing. Besides, I was hoping they'd succeed in getting rid of the Charmed Ones, the same way I was hoping that Zankou would.

But if it's okay for the Charmed Ones to do it, it was definitely okay for the Jenkinses to do it. If anyone should've understood that, the Halliwells should've. Paige, maybe not, but definitely Piper and Phoebe.

Billie has the power to do whatever she wants. That's basically what projection was. It was just limitless and random. It was the ultimate contrived plot device for lazy writers.
So as much as I'd love to say Prue would win hands down; I'd be talking from a place of bias. In theory, Billie could "will" Prue dead just by squeezing her eyes shut. Then again, because she was so overpowered, she contracted a bad case of "ForgetMyPower-itis"... so it's possible that Prue would be able to stop Billie before she remembered that she had projection.
Prue is smarter; no doubt about it. She's a better physical fighter, I don't doubt that either. But Billie is stupidly powerful; can't just ignore that...unfortunately.

You're absolutely right about that. And the fact that a single witch with that power was roaming around at the same time the most powerful witches ever had their powers unbound shows why I count S4-8 as an alternate universe spin-off where the only thing similar is the name of the characters. The same is true regarding Wyatt and *his* prophecy.
