I agree with all of you. I thought Alyssa did wonderful job in her portrayal of Phoebe Halliwell.

^I totally agree, I can't seee any one else playing Phoebe- she is just perfect!! I heard that Holly originally tried out for the role of Phoebe and Alyssa tried out for the role of Piper....imagine that! Holly tried for Phoebe, but Alyssa didn't try out. Holly got Piper and Lori Rom got Phoebe. Then, due to personal reasons Lori left and they needed a new Phoebe. Spelling chose Alyssa because he had worked with her before. I don't believe that Alyssa tried out for Charmed. |

I heard a rumor that Julian McMahon was only willing to do "The Seven Year Witch", as long as he did not have to do any scenes with Alyssa Milano. If this is true, I wonder what happened between the two to lead him to make such a demand. Well if that's true..then I guess we just solved the question as to who was the real problem in the Shannen vs. Alyssa war. |

Imagine Shannen trying to portray Piper and Holly trying to be Phoebe. I am
sure glad the casting directors were wide awake at that time.
Alyssa is the perfect Phoebe and of course Holly is also great as Piper.

I agree with all of you. I thought Alyssa did wonderful job in her portrayal of Phoebe Halliwell. Projecting yourself into a Chracter is hardly acting. It's Why Phoebe is the same as the Character on Melrose place, and "Jenny" in Comando is the same as "Toni's Daughter" on who's the Boss You going to tell me Arnold Schwarzenegger and Sylvester Stallone is are good actors in all the movies they did too? (Or Adam Sandler for that matter?) |

Not to start something but i dont see the connection between any of the work that Alyssa has done over the years. And for that matter None of the work that Adam Sandler has done are the same characters. To say the least the work of an actor or actress is very hard and i give props to all the cast members for a wonderful 8 years. I am sure that if these actors and actresses did the same roles as you say Alyssa had done then Charmed would not have made it for the 8 years it did. And to add to that i dont think that anyone would be paying Adam Sandler the millions of dollars per role as they do if they did not see something wonderful in him as well. Alyssa, Holly and Rose along with all the other cast members of Charmed will be getting on with their acting after Charmed. No one would want them if they stayed in character all the time. Julian already has a new contract with Nip/tuck... And Adam Sandler is working on a new movie as well...
Just to reply and as i was saying i dont want to start something i just do NOT agree with you.

No one could be Pheobe Halliwell other than Alyssa Milano! i mean it no one!! She embodied that role with such power and soul. She brought humility to the role as well. Her personality shined when she played Pheobe. She is a great person and I hope she keeps growing as an actress and spiritually as well. Many blessings to Alyssa! ;D

This is right yes they didnt want to put them back together cos it would have opened up all old wounds Phoebe and Cole's relationship was over so they were no need to put them together |
