She can feed children wherever she wishes too, as long as she's doing a good deed. America has the money to feed it's own people, even if it isn't always put the good use.
Sorry, but when Charmed was still on the air, on ocasion the show had a bigger rating than 5 million people, only in America and we can't be certain that it was always the same 5 million people watching. Add to that the few millions in other countries that caught the show and it should amount to more than 5 million who know her from Charmed.

I agree Alyssa does a lot for UNICEF she cares so much for the people over there and she isnt doing it just for her image as i have said before she doesnt need to. Other celebs suport UNICEF as well for example Robbie Williams goes over there as well and he is famaus enough as well

And here as well i agree totaly the UK has a lot of Charmed fans
and other countrys as well as charmed DVD's and books have been released in all differnt languages.!!

Charmed is the biggest tv show on the internet ever!!!!
Alyssa doing charity work to raise the profile of millions of unfortunate people in other countries is worthwhile regardless of her motives.

And that is just part of the message of Charmed and why I think it was such a good show for all the good messages it created, not just for young girls (to admire the actors and be inspired by their accomplishments), but all the other family friendly and people friendly concepts and lessons it taught. Charmed was not only drama, it was comedy, it was about family, and it was about doing the right thing. It did all that while providing icons of strong, intelligent women on TV. Not many shows can claim to do all that, all the time.

Alyssa seems like a person that if you met her you would be able to connect with her and talk to her with ease. She seems such a down to earth person and a person who, if you did have a problem, then you could probably sit down and she would listen or offer advice. If there was someone like her in my life it would be sooooooo much easier.

spiritkas..don't take this personal but what charmed show did you watch? i watched a show that 3 girls were raised by a grandmother who was married 6 times, a father that walked out of their lives cause he couldn't deal with the family,a mother who committed adultery had a child out of wedlock and gave her away.and yes a fine exsample for young ladys paige..sleep with married man,meet guy in club and do him in storage room,phoebe..sleep with anybody that has money and power.piper divorces leo..and the question that was most importent?and piper what about sex?as asked by paige.as far as fighting evil they were no better than the demons that they killed.take away their powers and you have 3 loosers that had no skills and no idea of what family life is.the show was fun and a time passer but as far as any type of exsample of family values this is not it.this is from my point of view and what i seen.

Why are you here on a charmed forum, which is full of fans who love and adore the programme? If you are just here to basically say rude things about the show that we love, then don't. I do understand that this is your opinion, and I do respect that, but I don't understand why you would say this on a fan forum.

Jamie, thanks for the support.
Ditchwater: I understand your point of view about the things which happened in their lives (with their mother) and the way they conducted their social affairs. You don't have to agree with their relationship choices, but you seem to want to judge them based on your own prejudices and opinions on what is moral and what is not. Right and wrong on sexual preferences/activities is a manufactured concept of various religions. It is not completely representative of a society's behavior. That aside, you can make the same judgments about 100 other shows, but that's not the point or the messages I am talking about.
The messages, at least the important ones, about the show are the following:
1. Protecting and loving your family
2. Protecting and standing up for those who can't do it for themselves (protecting the innocent is just a metaphor for this)
3. Being empowered, strong women who can take care of themselves
4. Doing the right thing when it comes to helping people
To name just four. If you can get past the story of their parents, which happens to people (Remember, they painted their father as someone who left, but later made it appear that their Grams chased him away). Either way, they got divorced; it happens. A large part of the show is about their attempts to have semi-normal lives while doing extraordinary things to keep others safe. At least in many of the episodes.

Jamie..i'm a fan of the show however there was ideas that i didn't agree with.and a lot of the fans here didn't either.as actors they have accomplished very little.none of them a Sally Field,Hilary Swank,Jodi Foster.the show was fun and at times very good but family Friendly? the writers of charmed try to make the show all things to fans and somethings they went to far.a lot of us on this board watched charmed frame by frame and new each and every line.this again is from a different point of veiw and if we all agreed wouldn't that just be too boring....

Alyssa Milano, yet another really great actress. Shes so sweet and seems like a very nice person. I just loved her movie "To Brave Alaska" Its kinda old and sad about the dog but there was a happy ending. And yes, her role as "Phoebe Halliwell" in Charmed. She played her well too, great character great actress  And I wish Alyssa good luck for the future and for her new televison show "Me And Everyone Else" I'll watch it and support you Alyssa. |

I like Sandra Bullock, but does any one else here think it should be Alyssa Milano in "Premonition"? Alyssa and Julian back together? Sandra looks a little rough in the previews, like they aged her (allthogh she is 43 and he's 38...) I wonder if Alyssa will ever do a big flick one day? Or Holly... |

DW: Like I said, I appreciate your points and the show could not be for everyone, even if it tried. It obviously evolved and took a different direction from when it started. It was always under pressure to play down the Wiccan side of things so not to be thought of as anti religious or devil worship and lose sponsors. But they simply had more conflict in the earlier seasons.

nope it would not compare 2 charmed, that's really all i seen Alyssa play in really besides that movie dickyroberts!!, but other then that it wouldnt be the same if it's not charmed, im use 2 seein her on that show, but i think shell end up doin some movies 4 sure,,,well that's wut i think anyways

Actually, AM is doing a lawyer show for which the pilot is shooting soon. One of the networks has already bought 16 episodes. Another pilot she shot, called "Me, and everyone else" was not picked up by any of the networks. AM may do some more movies, eventually, but none of her big screen movies were really hits. RM is the real movie star amongst the three sisters. HMC has mostly done TV and TV movies, though some really good ones.
