I LOVE Holly Marie Combs. Shes just the best actress on earth
She was great in the movie "Our Mothers Murder" That has to be my favourite movie...well done part by Holly as "Alex"
And of course Holly on "Charmed" Who couldnt love her? She was Funny, Sarcastic and Sweet!
To sum everything up, Holly Marie Combs is a very talented woman.

I'v alway's cryied when piper did, she's is a really good preson, i never seen anyone act like her.. she cares about her faimly more then anything, like when pure died she acted like she was really hurting . when i watched it i juss started crying cuz it seemed real, and she seemed like she was really hurting, she's really good at actin, and the other one where she gets shot and ends up in the hosptial and dies, pure try's n bring her back ...piper played the role really good almost in ever one of them she plays all her roles really good she's the best and she's my fav !!

Holly is an extremely talented actress her acting in 'Love Hurts' and 'Hell Hath no Fury' never fails to get to me no matter how many times i watch them.

Notyourchick86: HMC had her second son back in Oct 06. We're all waiting to see when she will re-emerge and what role or roles she'll be taking (TV or movies). I haven't seen any news yet, myself.

Yeah i agree that Holly Marie Combs is fantastic and she should have been given some sort of credit or awards to congratulate her on being so fantastic. She has always given it her all on charmed and she was fantastic as Piper. I just hope that movie makers and agencies notice this talent and hire her for some movie roles. I could watch her over and over again without a doubt. Hopefully see her in something new soon.

well.. holly was in the movie "picket fences" and once aaron spelling saw her perfomence in that movie, he knew that shed be great for Piper.

HMC was also in the long running show Picket Fences, playing Brock, the sensible sister. She's also been in a number of made for TV movies, including Sins of Silence, See Jane Date, Love's Deadly Triange, Dr. Giggles, and My Mother's Murder. She starred in Sins, Deadly, and My Mother's Murder, which were all based on true stories, very serious subjects. She had supporting roles in See Jane Date (but a very good one). I've never seen Dr. Giggles. She also had minor roles in about three other movies, whose titles escape me at the moment. Almost all of these, except See Jane Date, were done prior to her role on Charmed. Hope this helps.

I really love Piper... I think that she is my favourite sister and if it is true is because of Holly's performance. I think that she's a great actress and I remember that the first time I reconized her in a movie (which dosen't includes charmed) was in Ocean's Eleven. She played a very short role in that film, she said only few words but I still liked Her.

Both of the Ocean films had cameos by various TV and big screen actors. I'm sure O 13 will do the same.

Streghe: You should really try catching HMC in some of the TV movies she made. I listed some in a post on May 19th. In some she had a lead role, in others, just a supporting role, like in See Jane Date (with her friend Charisma Carpenter who also played the Seer in several Charmed episodes, before being vanquished by Zankou in first half of season seven). Most of the other movies were made before she started Charmed, so you get to see a fairly young HMC. These movies typically play on the Lifetime channel. If you are in the US, you probably know this TV channel. Some of her movies are out on VHS tape, like Our Mother's Murder. Occasionally, you see others for sale on Ebay, when someone has recorded it for sale, like Sins of Silence. She tended to take roles based on true stories, like the two I just mentioned and Love's Deadly Triangle, which was based on the Texas Cadet Murder case. The person she portrayed is still in prison for that murder. Those three tend to the dark side of life, murder and rape cases, but these more serious movies tend to out class the ones Alyssa Milano has been in over her career (though AM fans would probably disagree).

pruehalliwell88: HMC was also, and still is, great friends with Shannon Doherty. It was more than rumored that SD suggested and basically brought HMC in to try for the role as Piper.

I don't know: Poison Ivy 2 versus Dr. Giggles. I think I'll take Poison Ivy 2, especially since I own the laser disc of that one! And, when you say "serious" movies, you really are saying "Lifetime Movies". That's where I first encountered HMC in several of the movie you mentioned as they were showed regularly on Lifetime!
