Personal Life
Her birth was made a secret and she was given as a baby, Paige Matthews never truly knew who she was. She loved her adoptive parents like they were her own yet often questioned her birth parentage as she grew up, after developing a rebellious streak, she acted out, until her parents were killed in a car crash in 1994. Paige often wondered how she had survived the crash, but her parents untimely death caused her to quite drinking and go to college and aspire to become a social worker. In 2000, she began visiting the popular nighclub, P3 as she felt attracted there after once believing she was related to the Halliwell sisters. In May 2001, she attended the funeral of Prue Halliwell, and after unearthing some family revelations, she discovered Prue was in fact her half-sister, along with Piper and Phoebe. She eventually grew closer to her sisters, and moved in after a few months. She formed an immediate bond with Phoebe but it took longer to bond with her older half-sister Piper. She also enjoyed an on/off relationship with casual lover, Glen Belland. She was then a bridesmaid at Phoebe's wedding to first husband Cole and once Phoebe became the Queen of the Underworld, she supported Piper through the hardship of swaying her back to good and helping her overcome the influence of her unborn baby.
In 2002, Paige turned down her promotion to a Social Worker, fearing that her magical influence would have personal gain causes. She then spent the latter part of that year trying to find enlightenment and dealing with her inferiority complex towards her deceased sister Prue. In February 2003, she helped Piper deliver her nephew, Wyatt who was named Wyatt Matthew Halliwell in her honour. Paige then began a relationship with Nate Parks, who she fell for quite quickly, and used the truth spell to reveal her magical secret too, only to discover that he was married with children. The latter of 2003 began with Paige helping her sister Piper deal with Leo's absence, help Phoebe deal with a new power and form a relationship with fellow witch, Richard Montana. They had some relationship issues, but she moved in with him in early 2004, just before discovering that their new Whitelighter Chris was actually her nephew sent from the future to protect Wyatt. After splitting with Richard, she spent the rest of the year, battling evil to help protect both of her nephews and then supported Piper after baby Chris was born. The latter part of 2004 began with Paige meeting FBI Agent Kyle Brody, who was intent on helping Inspector Sheridan find out the secret of the Haliwelll Sisters. Paige began a relationship with him, and sided with him when he tried to kill Leo for becoming an Avatar, after battling with the Avatars and failing to create the perfect Utopia they wanted, Brody was killed which left Paige devastated, and she spent most of 2005, helping out at Magic School and battling against the demon Zankou, before faking her death along with her sisters. After attempting to live as 'Jo Bennett' for a while, they decided to return to their normal identities and she eventually met Henry Mitchell, a parole officer, who she began a relationship with, and fell in love with him, eventually marrying him just before the Ultimate Battle. She helped get her brother-in-law Leo returned just after the Ultimate Battle and also helped mentor a young witch Billie, who became a long life family friend. In 2007, she then gave birth to twin girls; Tamora and Kat and is expected to have a son named Henry Jr. in the near future.
Charmed Life
Being half-Witch, half-Whitelighter, Paige had her Whitelighter powers from birth, which enabled her to orb out of the car crash that killed her parents. However, her witch powers only became active after she met her half-sisters in the ancestral home, the Halliwell Manor, the Power of Three was reborn and she recieved her witch powers. She possessed the power of Telekinetic Orbing, the ability to verbally call for something and have it orb to you. Throughout the course of the series, her ability progressed to the point where it became more conventional telekinesis, the thing she orbed to her no longer had to orb into her possession before she could move it elsewhere. Originally, she could only orb on the spot or orb a short distance in the room she was in, but in 2002 (in the episode 'The Three Faces of Phoebe') she managed to orb across town and from that point on, became accustomed to orbing at will. She only tapped into her Whitelighter powers rarely, and only learnt to heal in January 2006 when she realised that she was in love with injured boyfriend, Henry and managed to heal his gunshot wound. Then at some point during 2008, she managed to produce an 'Orb Shield', a forcefield sheathed with orbs, most likely a telekinetic wall that repelled oncoming attacks.[/font]
