These are the tails of two High Fantasy characters named Sylva and Raja. They are original characters and original stories.
Princess Sylva Arastal of the nation of Light Elves, tribe of High Elves, clan of the Sunburst is thought to have had some angelic beings in her lineage and some dark elf, but it is so long ago that all of this might be nothing more than conjecture. She is also called the savior and doom of the world as she saved the world from some unspeakable evil but with dooming consequences.
Sylva had more humble beginnings because she was raised in a traveling show as a foundling. Years later, Sylva found out that her parents were refugees from a settlement that was destroyed by a dragon in which her Father was killed. In those days, it was easy for dragons or other monsters to take down elven enclaves as they were rather small and isolated. The elves had known for a long time that their days in the world were numbered. They had three choices: either return or move to the land of the Gods and be their servants, be assimilated into the surrounding human population or move to the land of faerie. The decline of the elves was well advanced by the time of Sylva's birth.
Why spend so much time on Sylva's origin, you might ask. Because, her origins play a significant role in defining her Fate and Destiny. Sylva is the heroine of these stories; she is the heroine in spite of her denial of it and mostly because of her denial of it. Raja on the other hand is not a heroine but Sylva's Nemesis. All that I can say about Raja is that she is a weretigeress at least, but she is even more ancient than Sylva and could have even darker ancestry than just being a weretigeress.
Ariswen's Disgrace and the Finding of Sylva
Ariswen is Sylva's Mother that much is known. She was a member of the League of the Black Star. This was a group of adventurers who owed fealty to King Melchez of Carasalda. They did the behind the scenes troubleshooting and missions that the King needed done without being involved. King Mechez was in a decades long war with the Liche King who ruled a land or glaciers and volcanos from his Iron tower in the far north.
King Melchez sent the League of the Black star to investigate the strange disappearance of the High Priestess of the Grove of the Unicorn. The grove, ok it was more of a small forest, was right next to a town called Marig.
This is where the story gets a little vague, but it ends up with Ariswen turning on the league because she believed the threats of the archmage Malvee. The League never did figure out that Ariswen was compelled by magic and did not turn on the league of her own volition. This enabled the Dark Elf archmage Malvee to escape. For this, Ariswen was put out of the League.
Ariswen took her leave of the League and went and found her daughter, Sylva, who she knew all along was in Orlon's Traveling Show. For almost 19 years Orlon had raised Sylva as his own daughter. His being a half-elf himself gave him sympathy to Sylva's multiple race breeding. Orlon had told Sylva about her beautiful Mother, Ariswen, do when she showed up in Orlon's camp, it was more of a happy reunion than anything else. It's just that Orlon and Ariswen never told Sylva that Orlon wasn't her biologcal Father.
