I keep meaning to make this thread, so here it is. At first I was too stunned to believe it, but it's quite clear now that it is true.
Those of you who have read the comics probably remember our first news that they would exist when a man on deviantART said he'd won the right to draw them in the comics with his audition drawings, drawings he posted on his account and soon started showing up all over the place. And then we didn't hear anything for months.
On Sunday, September 4, 2011 former Charmed comic artist (as well as former artist of many other comics), Dave Hoover died. I still don't know much about it, but it is sad. He was only fifty-six-years-old. I have seen some sites that list his date of death as September 5, but the first article I saw about his death, which I posted the link to below, was posted on September 5th and says he died "last night", so I'm inclined to go with that information.
Anyone wishing to pass condolences on to his family, I understand that people are leaving them both at his deviantART account, Tarzman, and his email address, hoovfam@yahoo.com.

From what little dealings I have had with him online he seems like he was a nice man. And I thought that while his likenesses weren't perfect, they were absolutely lovely. I can't imagine what his family must be going through right now, but I hope that they have the right amount of people around them to neither be alone nor smoothered and that whomever those people are, they are the right people to help them however much they can. I can't imagine that the pain ever goes away, but I know in time you think about it less often.
