Grimm

A new show comes on tonight called Grimm, about a man who can see demonic creatures based on the Grimm fairytales. It is from the producers of Buffy and Angel and I am definitely gonna give it a watch.

In order to prepare for the 100th episode, I rewatched the first four seasons to make sure I didn't miss anything, so the whole show is pretty fresh in my mind. The finale was pretty action packed and I was upset about the loss that they suffered. Next season is bound to be interesting. I watched it on DVR and it cut off right after Rosalee tells Monroe her news. We're going to try and find it elsewhere, but can anyone tell me if anything happened after that, not what (I want to find out for myself), just if anything did happen?

I think i might rewatch. I have the season 4 blu ray I never got around to watching. Rewatching that now.

What happened to Seans mother. She seems so off. She helped in a way turn Juliette and shes where now?

Thanks for letting me know. Hopefully I will find a way to see the last bit of the story soon, because it already was bugging me, but now that I know there really is more, it bugs me even more.

Last I knew, she just left. I don't think Sean's heard from her since let alone seen her, but it's possible I missed something. She did get mentioned once or twice, but not since the end of that season (as far as I recall).

I know it's been a while since you wrote this, but I wanted to let you know that I did finally get a chance to watch the rest of the episode a couple weeks ago. I had all sorts of wild theories about what might have happened in those last few minutes (and thankfully none of them where true), but oh my goodness. That I did not see coming. I really want to see what happens as a result in the coming season and I sure hope they lengthen the season, because I want more Grimm.

I am so pleased dear you have seen those episodes.   I myself hope we do get more episodes - and I am very curious about what will happened to Eve.

I am so glad that there is a thread for Grimm here and equally glad that it only got posted at up until the end of season five. I've just watched Grimm all the way from seasons one to the end of season five. And oh wow, season one's monster (wesen, even) of the week cases didn't really interest me so much, but when the story arcs began to start from the end of season one, I was hooked.

Netflix doesn't have season six yet (and I don't expect it to come onto Netflix until some time next year)- so I've not seen that yet and want to avoid any spoilers for it.

I preferred Juliette's story arc in season four to Eve's story arc in season five, but if the magic stick has done what I think it has done to Eve (please don't tell me - no spoilers), then I look forward to seeing that outcome in season six.

Some of the love triangles in the show are a bit over-dramatised/soap opera-y. There are definitely certain characters that I would rather end up together. And considering that all I know about season six is that it is the final one, I do hope that certain relationships get sorted out in the final season.

What are your opinions on Adalind as a character? Am I the only one who feels like her story arc (from seasons one to five as I won't know for ages what happens in six) could be compared to Cole's? Especially when they're separating what someone does as a Hexenbiest (*cough* demon) from that of a suppressed Hexenbiest (*cough* no-longer-a-demon). I don't know - maybe I'm just biased because I'm totally not shipping her season five relationship. I think I might just be biased, because I'm shipping a Nick/Juliette reunion - and therefore want one HB forgiven over the other. Especially if the magic stick did what I think it did.

I can't go to an actual Grimm forum until I've seen season six - because I'd be more than likely to walk into some major spoilers, so I thought I'd post here and see who replies. Let's discuss some Grimm (first five seasons only preferrably - or make it clear which season you're discussing at the top of a paragraph so I know to skip past if it's six - thanks)!

Finished season six. The casting for Diana really bugs me, because I swear she's meant to be two or three, but the actress playing her is so much older.

Not happy that the ships I wanted didn't pan out.

Though the flashforward at the end was a nice touch.

I remember hearing the flashforwards reminded people of Charmed, but I think people said they did it better in Grimm because they didn't add more children, but only showed the ones we already meet, grown up without showing what happened to everyone else.

Yeah - I'd say I prefer the Grimm flashforward to the Charmed one.

And yeah, it only showed the two kids who were born during the show, but only gave a mention of Rosalee and Monroe's kids - but that was enough. Though, I would have liked for the show to go into detail about what type of Wesen their kids would be, Blutbad or Fuchsbau. There were some episodes where I thought they were going to touch on such a subject during the engagement story arc, but they never quite did. :/

Yep - At least it didn't sink to Charmed level bad with the flashforwards.

I guess the final season being only 13 episodes and not 22 sadly meant they didn't get time for many stories. Too bad.
