I'm not sure if anything like this was done before, but I thought it would be fun. We can come up with the nominations, then vote! I think it would be best to divide the "Lead Actress" into Episodes, because they are all outstanding. I made up some categories, let me know what you think (this is not the finalized version).

Hmm. If I'm honest I think your selection of comedic episodes are really poor, but then I can't think of any better - I don't think Charmed really had comedic episodes - more comedic one-liners and quotes, and the funniest character to me was Paige.

This is funny because this is exactly how the Emmys work, actors and actresses submit work based on episodes, not the entire season, and get nominated based on how the Academy views the performance of one particular episode (unless it's a nomination for a mini-series or TV movie). So, all the categories would actually be based on one episode the actor felt they shined the best in, and not an overall performance, so in tantrum with how the actual Emmys work, I think it would be cool if it looked like this. :

Those really are fascinating. I'll have to think about them...
It would be kinda fun to do a mini-contest like this - come up with our own nominations and then have people vote...
When we did a contest like this at another site for fanfics (We called them the Charmies rather than the Emmies), we opened the nominations for a month and then each category that had at least five nominations was put to a vote. We had a big "Charmies" night including a chat to announce the winners and everything.
It was a lot of fun and I think it would be fun to try to do something like it for this. What do you think?

That, of course, is up to the admins and the mods. But if they want me to PM the rules we used for the Charmies so they can decide which ones they want to use and which they want to adapt, that's fine with me.
For us, we used an entire month for the nominations - a week's not enough time. But that, of course, is up to the staff.

I think for lead actress we should just so it for the four woman individual, no need to pull a Prue vs piper vs Paige vs phoebe debate over who takes the award.
How I would do it:

Best performance by Shannen, holly, Alyssa and rose in an episode drama and comedy.
Best performance by ted, Brian, Julian, drew etc. supporting cast in an episode.
