Wyatt paced back in forth in one of the old rooms in the back of the church. The room was dusty from old books, which must have been there since before dirt. Wyatt did not like Church's he only seemed to come to them for death. He had been here before. For his Aunts, he never wanted to come back, but now he was here again. This time it was his parents funeral.
The thought of this made Wyatt angry. How dare they? How dare anyone try to take that away from him! Wyatt clenched his fist a second before throwing an energy ball at one of the bookshelves. Wyatt quickly let his arm down. Realizing what he was doing, even scaring himself a little. He did not really know how or what to feel. Was it wrong to be angry? Was he supposed to be only sad? Why has he not cried yet, what was wrong with him? Wyatt leaned against the wall wondering why all this was happening when he heard the door open.

Chris entered the main hall of the church. He walked down the aisle and stood in front of the two things that he was never fully prepared to see. They were the coffins of both his mother and his father. It was day of the funerals of Piper Halliwell and Leo Wyatt, and Chris was in the front waiting for the guests and for the priest to arrive.
A tug on his heart made Chris want to turn around and run away from all of this. He did not wish to stay here anymore and have to look at the dead bodies of his mother and father. They did not deserve to die. Not like the way they did. Staring at the coffins made Chris unable to breathe and he could feel the tears threatening to fall down his face.
Without a second thought, Chris felt as if he needed to check up on his two siblings. The first sibling he want to see was Wyatt. Chris felt that Wyatt had taken the death of thier parents the hardest. Chris found his older brother in one of the old rooms. He knocked on the door and looked inside.
"Hey Wy... Thought I'd find you in here..."

Wyatt was a little on edge, hoping this funeral would go about peacefully. He had been alone in the quiet for a while now and Chris knocking on the door startled him. Wyatt quickly turned around and started to form an energy ball in his hand. Wyatt quickly realized it was Chris and quickly extinguished the ball as quickly as it came.
“Oh it's just you what do you want!? Wyatt barked at Chris. He did not mean to snap at Chris but felt irritated that Chris came looking for him.

Chris entered the room only to see Wyatt form an energy ball in his hand ready to shoot at him. Chris instinctively ducked when he saw the energy ball in Wyatt's hand. After he regained composure, Chris got up and stared at his older brother.
"Are you insane Wyatt! This is not the time to be shooting off energy balls!"
When Wyatt snapped at him, it took Chris by surprise. It even hit him hard... Wyatt was the type who knew how to control his temper... At least way more than Chris did.
"I just came to see if you were alright... Because I'm worried about you man..."

Wyatt regretted jumping to conclusions so quickly. He would have never have forgave himself if that would have hit Chris. Wyatt's angry face quickly turned into remorse.
“Chris I'm really sorry. I just thought you were never mind. I'm sorry I snapped at you like that. I'm just upset Chris. I haven't slept a wink since...since it happened”
Wyatt said stumbling over his words. He did not like thinking about that day.
“So I'm just a little irritable right now and I don't know how to feel or think anymore Chris. I feel lost, I just don't know what to do...” Wyatt said with a sigh getting quieter.

Seeing his brother as the broken man in front of him, sent chills up Chris' spine. Wyatt was the one who knew how to handle any situation, whether it be a mess up from a demon hunting gone wrong, or a casual problem with girls or school.
It was then that Chris knew that he needed to keep his own head cool in this situation. Wyatt was mess and Chris knew that his sister was not doing any better. Yeah it hurt like hell to lose both his parents in one day, but Chris would rather die himself is something happened to his brother or sister. He decided that for now, he needed to be the sibling that helped the other two. He would get his chance to mourn later on.
Upon hearing Wyatt's sobs, Chris walked up to him and calmly sat down next to him.
"You are allowed to feel pain Wyatt. You are allowed to get angry and get sad. Hell, I'd be surprised if you didn't feel anything at all. I'm angry to. I'm angry at demons, and I'm even more angry at the Elders! Wy, it's ok to feel lost and scared..."

“I know but I'm mad at them too Chris! Why didn't the teach us more!? I don't understand. We shouldn't have gone through our lives as normal as we did. Sure we had our share of supernatural fun, but we never really fought have we?! Life was peaceful for the most part. We should have been prepared. Mom and Dad couldn't have expected to go through the rest of their lives with out some sort of major battle. It's stupid if you ask me”
Wyatt said then felt really guilty for being mad at his dead parents. It wasn't really their fault. It wasn't anyone except those that had taken Piper and Leo's life.
“I mean it doesn't matter Chris because they are dead and there is nothing we can do about it! I could have healed her but I didn't!! Another idiot mistake! I should have done it Chris. I should have sensed them in danger, but I never did!” Wyatt said his eyes starting to tear up like crazy.

Chris understood where Wyatt was coming from. He had also felt that if they had a little more training... A little more practice with their powers, that they could have stopped the demons from killing they're parents. As for Wyatt blaming himself for they're deaths... That was not fair at all. Chris grabbed Wyatt's shoulders and turned him towards him.
"Wyatt, you listen to me. Do not even think about blaming yourself for what happened! There was nothing you could do! There was nothing either one of us could do! If you did not heal Mel, she would have died along with Mom and Dad! As for not sensing them! Wyatt, those b*st*r*s had a shield around the house! Wyatt you should not blame yourself... You did not do anything wrong..."
It took all the will inside for Chris to not start crying. Seeing Wyatt like this was killing him inside. He wanted to cry... Oh how he needed to cry right then and there... But he held his tears back... He would not force Wyatt to see him crying as well... One of them had to be strong for the sake of the others...

Chris did not understand. He should have tried harder. If he was really so powerful he should have been able to heal them both. What the hell good were his powers if he couldn't stop something so horrible happening?
“You don't get it Chris! I'm supposed to be this really powerful witch with all these powers. Yet I can't even do something as simple as save someone's life. Well screw that Chris! They can all go to hell. I don't need them!" Wyatt said referring to the magic world such as the elders and other light beings like witches etc.
As far as my powers they are useless anyway!. The only use for them is killing every last person that did this to our family and if I ever see them they will wish they were dead” Wyatt said getting even really angry again.

Chris had hoped that he had gotten through to his big brother, but Wyatt was a Halliwell, stubborn to the bone. As Chris heard his brother yell about his powers only being god for killing and getting revenge, something inside of Chris made him fear for his brother. But it was so small that Chris pushed it aside. This was his brother. The same brother that would never kill unless it was for protecting the innocents.
"Wyatt, I know that you don't want anything more to do with the Elders... Believe me, I feel the same way. I don't ever want to do anything for those people... As for your powers, they have done so much good already and they will continue to do more good!"
Chris knew that for now, nothing he said would get to his brother... He needed time to heal... They all did. It was then that he remembered his sister. Chris wanted to check on her as well before the ceremony.
"Look Wy, I know that deep inside you don't mean the things you just said... I'm gonna leave you alone for a few minutes while I go check up on Mel... I'll come back later..."
Chris then gave Wyatt a brotherly squeeze and got up to leave the room. He needed to find his sister. No doubt she was proably in a similar state as Wyatt. While walking, Chris wiped a few tears that had escaped from his eyes.

Wyatt knew Chris was right, but still couldn't help but feel angry. Especially hearing him speak about the elders. They were as bad as the demons as far as Wyatt was concerned. Wyatt watched as Chris left. He knew Chris was in a lot of pain and wished he could have been more supportive, but he just didn't know how to think anymore these days. It was like part of him the more logical part of him died along with his parents.
Wyatt was about to sit down a minute when he heard footsteps outside the door again. He figured it was Chris again “What is it Chris I'm not much for talking anymore today. Go find Mel” Wyatt said through the door hoping if it was Chris he would go away. He loved Chris to death but nothing he was saying was helping him feel any better. There was not much anyone could say at this point to help fix a broken Wyatt.

Camille Dawson walked up the steps of the church. She was wearing a simple black dress with a gold locket for the event. As she entered the church she could feel her knees beginning to shake. The last time she had stepped foot inside a church was during her parents' funerals and she didn't think she was ready to face yet another death.
As she saw the two coffins sitting side by side, Camille felt a tear begin to slowly roll down her face. She quickly brushed it aside and held onto her locket. Inside the locket were two small pictures. One of her and her parents when she was little, and another one of her and Wyatt. She wondered how Wyatt was coping with the loss of his parents. That was the main reason she came early, she wanted to be with Wyatt before the funeral started.
In the distance, Camille heard yelling. It was Wyatt's voice. She quickened her steps and saw Chris coming out of a room and head down the hall. Camille knocked on the door and heard Wyatt saying to go away, thinking it was Chris.
Camille was never the type to run away when the person she loved was in pain. She opened the door and stepped inside.
"Wyatt? It's only me babe..."

Wyatt recognized the voice immediately as Camille. Wyatt quickly wiped his eyes off and tried to look like everything was peachy keen. He might have broken down in front of Chris but not he wouldn't for Camille.
“Oh, come in” Wyatt said straightening himself up. He sounded a bit choked up, but like he was trying to hide it as well.

Camille came inside and saw that Wyatt had wiped the tears from his eyes. Even though the tears were gone, Camille knew that he had been crying. She knew first hand what he was going through...
When her parents had died, she did not want anyone to see her cry. She had held it in for so long, she thought she was going to explode. She was slowly losing her cool and her perspective on things. Until Wyatt confronted her and forced her to start crying. He did so by making her remember her parents and to remember everything good that resembled her and how he missed the girl he fell in love with. Wyatt had been the first person who had seen her cry after her parents died.
Now he needed her to be there for him, and she was ready to help him through this. Camille slowly walked towards him and sat down next to him. She then gently turned his head towards her and slowly rubbed his face. She then pulled him close to her as she hugged him. It was her turn to be the shoulder to lean on.
"Wyatt, you know you do not have to hide anything from me... Let me help you..."

Wyatt did not want her to think he was weak. He wouldn't let her think that. It was enough that one person already saw him in his worse state he didn't need two. Especially the women he loved.
“I'm not hiding anything!” Wyatt said getting defensive. Though not nearly as snappy as he had been with Chris. This was after all, Camille and he would never want to make her feel uneasy.
“I mean I'm okay. I just need some time alone. So if you are going to come in here and try to cheer me up it's not going to work” Wyatt said forgetting he had told her he was okay.
“Chris was already in here and he did not help much. I don't need anybodies help quite frankly” Wyatt said trying to be as calm as possible with out sounded bitter or cold. He couldn't help how he felt.
Wyatt just wished for a moment everyone would just back off and leave him be. He just wished he wasn't even here half the time. It was too miserable and it was killing Wyatt but he knew he had to be there for the ones he loved. No matter how painful it felt.

Camille could feel Wyatt tense up and she knew that something was wrong. When he pulled away and snapped at her, she was taken aback. A part of her felt hurt, but she knew what Wyatt was doing. He was pushing her away, just as she had tried to push him away.
Camille grabbed Wyatt's hand and with her other hand began to slowly rub his back. She had no intention of trying to cheer him up. She just wanted to help the man that she loved through the hardest time of his life. Camille looked into Wyatt eyes and began to talk to him as calmly as she could.
"Wyatt, look at me... You can yell and scream to try and scare me away and leave you alone... But, hear me now, Wyatt Halliwell, I am not leaving you. Not now, not ever. And no, I am not trying to cheer you up. In case you've forgotten, I know what it's like, and believe me, cheering you up is the last thing on my mind."

Melinda brushed some of her golden hair from her eye as she strode towards Wyatt and Camille. Her golden hair was pushed up in a loose bun, but with strands cascading down her face, towards her strong jawline. She was wearing a tight, form fitting black dress, fitting her neatly. Melinda pulled her black shawl tighter around her bare shoulders and walked towards her brother and his girlfriend. A tear fell from her eye, but she instantly wiped it away.
"When are the guests going to begin to arrive?" She asked, placing her hands on her hips, letting her bag fall to her side. She smiled gently, and gazed over to the coffins. The smile faltered, and fell completely from her face. Her head snapped back towards her brother, and another tear fell. She wiped it away and readjusted her shawl. Reaching into her handbag she pulled out her lipstick, she unscrewed the top, and slowly brushed it over her pursed lips. Once finished she screwed the top back and placed it into her handbag. She let the bag fall to her side once again, and gracefully sat down on one of the closer chairs.

How many funerals did he have to attend? Who was left? The adults in the Halliwell line were all dead. Aunt Piper and Uncle Leo were the only ones left, and now they were gone. The kids were the only ones left now. Wyatt was the eldest. He was the youngest. It didn't make Marc feel any better. Wyatt was on edge and ready to snap ever since. Chris was trying to keep everyone together. Melinda was in between. She was sad but trying to go on. Prue had dealth with death before the others, but since she spent so much time with Piper and Leo and moved in with them, it hurt her alot. Lucy was still recovering from their parents. Marc seemed to be like Chris, but more so. He doesn't show emotion, at least not what he really feels. He was the youngest, but he seemed to be the one who kept up his "old self" more so than any one else. Even with Lucy. He needed his twin, but he didn't think he could tell her some things. It was easier to continue to be his old self. Go out. Flirt. Have fun.
Marc was already sitting down in the seats while his family was around and before the guests showed up. His eyes were closed and he was just exhaling and inhaling evenly. He was dressed in a black suit. Would it be wrong to Astral Project out of his body and go to the park while the ceremony took place? Was that disrespectful? Would his Aunt and Uncle understand if he did so? Yes, if he went to a secluded area and let it all out. Leo understood. With his whitelighter training and kind heart, he saw through Marc sometimes. He would understand if Marc's mind left to mourn away from his family. Yes, he would do it. No one would know. He was able to control this power more so than his other powers.

Wyatt knew it all to well. She had been in the very shoes that he now filled. She tried so hard to push him away but Wyatt refused to let go.
He knew she would do the same, so it was no use in fighting a lost battle.
"I know, I just don't understand any of this. Why did this even have to happen? I know those worthless elders up there could have done something! They just could care less. As long as there twice blessed child is around they don't need Piper or Leo." Wyatt said despising the elders. He still wasn't sure who he hated more the elders or the demons.
"I'm just glad I did not lose you. I don't want to push you away. Honestly I don't know what I would do if I lost you too. I love you so much Camille. You, Chris and Melinda are all I have left"

Chris could not seem to find Melinda anywhere. He figured that she was still getting ready at home and would be by later on. Chris was about to go talk to Wyatt some more, but he saw that Camille had entered the room with Wyatt, so he decided to leave them be for now.
Chris walked back to the main hall and saw his youngest cousin, Marc enter the hall and sit down in one of the seats. He saw his cousin having trouble dealing with what was going on. Chris would not consider himself super close to Marc. Marc was close to his sister Lucy, and Chris was close to Wyatt and Melinda.
Chris approached Marc and sat down next to him. He did not know what to say to him. He wished that he had talked to Marc more than he used to. Marc was a cool kid even though he was the youngest of the cousins.
"Hey Marc..."
