Bridgette looked on at Marc skeptically, but then shook the feeling away. She was being paranoid. Obviously Marc wasn't going to be in the best of moods today, and with Marc being Marc, it wasn't as if he was going to advertise it for all of the world.
But then again, it wouldn't hurt if she were to keep a closer eye on him for awhile. He had been a bit off since his parents had died (who could blame him?) and she had seen the "being strong for siblings/friends/cousins etc" act so many times, she wouldn't have been surprised if he were doing the same thing.
She shook her head slightly to return her thoughts to the current situation at hand. She sat up a bit straighter in her seat. Now she would focus on the funeral, and she could worry about her friend later.

Forever seemed to pass by as the funeral progressed. Finally after an eternity of agony it was all over. Melinda felt like she had held her breath the entire time and was waiting to exhale. She wanted to get out there as soon as possible. She wasn't going to hang around, and there was no reception anyway. None of the immediate family would show anyway, so there was no point of having one. Who wanted to eat after confirming someone's death? It wasn't some sort of celebration. Death was not a celebration it was more like a hellabration.
Melinda quietly got up and didn't want to look at her brothers. Her face was red and puffy and she had a migraine from crying. Though she couldn't just walk off and expect them not to notice. “I'm tired, so I think I'm going home now” Melinda said quietly, trying to make the words come out.
******************************************************************
Wyatt tried so hard to sit through the service. It was pure agony having to listen and stay alert. So have to stare at those coffins. To have to see them in it. Knowing they would never open those eyes again, and it was all because of him. The thought made him shudder.
After a long while it was all over. Wyatt too wanted to get out of this hell as soon as he could. Though he sat there a minute almost frozen. Until his sister interrupted his thoughts. “Do you need me to take you home?” Wyatt asked worried about his sister. He hadn't really heard her speak for a few days now.
“No, my car is here and I'll be fine. I just need to nap...” Melinda said hoping he wouldn't press it even more.
“Well okay then, I love you Mel” Wyatt said trying to force a smile at his sister.
Melinda sighed. She knew Wyatt was trying, but frankly she was a little scarfed of him at the moment. She hadn't seen him go off like that. She didn't like how he wanted to shove his cousins aside. “Yeah me too, well see you at the house then..” Melinda said and quickly walked off before he or Chris could say anything more.
Wyatt didn't get up just yet, he looked around a moment and noticed what looked like Elders. Wyatt face quickly turned into anger. They didn't seem to be looking at him but rather at Chris. “Look like we have company brother” Wyatt said discreetly pointing out the elders that were fixated on Chris. “I better go before I lose my temper again” Wyatt said getting up, then kissed Camille on the forehead. “Meet me at the car?” He said with a slight smile. He didn't give her time to answer because he needed to get out of there before his wrath was unleashed. He knew she would understand.
*******************************************************************
Meanwhile the Elders were looking over at Chris. Wondering when the best time would be to approach him. They needed to talk with him as soon as possible. They had an assignment for him. One that he might need. If Chris didn't acknowledge him soon they would just have to have a more direct approach.
((OOC We, Nu, Jacks and I decided to fast forward the funeral since nobody volunteered or had much knowledge of a funeral service and to progress the RP a bit.))

Prue excused herself, she didn't want an afternoon filled with small talk and grief, she need to work out what her vision was about and who the voice was. Walking into the hallway at the back end of the church she closed the door, looked around making sure it was a mortal free zone and then teleported out in a burst of pink, a heart shaped light flashed then disappeared as Prue teleported herself back the Manor, more importantly the Book of Shadows.
Raising her head she saw the Book of Shadows sitting upon it's podem, just there as it always was. Strolling over slowly with a few creeks on the old floorboard she placed her hands on the Book. The three broken piece of the triquetra seemed even more seperated than normal, as if they were ready to fall off the front of the Book. Staring blankly at the front of the Book, Prue tried to concentrate on the voice that had called out to her.

Chris was in a complete daze throughout the entire funeral. The priest kept going on and on about how wonderful Piper and Leo had been. Chris knew all of this... They were the best parents a kid could ask for... Without them... How were they supposed to move on? Both parents were gone... Chris began to feel the familiar twist from the bottom of his stomach.
Oh for the love of God! Not again....
This episode did not last as long as the other ones. It came and within a matter of seconds disappeared again... Chris turned his attention back to the funeral.
Soon enough the funeral ended and Chris watched as both his sister and Prue left the church. Chris could see the sadness in Melinda's eyes and it broke his heart. His thoughts were interrupted by his brother talking to him. He mentioned the Elders. Chris turned his head and sure enough they were there staring at him...
"What do those b@$t@rd$ want now? We're done with them...."
Chris understood that Wyatt needed to leave... And with Melinda also gone... He was left to say good bye to whomever showed up, even though he needed to get out of there before another episode started... He started saying good bye to the other mourners....
*******************************************************
Camille held back tears as she heard the priest talk about the Piper and Leo... She thought about her own parents and she remembered their own funerals. She grasped Wyatt's hand to remind him that she was there for him...
Soon enough the funeral was over. Camille saw sadness and anger in Wyatt's eyes. He kissed her good bye and said he needed to leave.. She understood... She looked over to Chris, who was not looking too great. Both his siblings left hi alone to deal with the aftermath. Camille decided to help Chris deal with the good byes and to make sure he didn't go to crazy...
**********************************************************
Lucy couldn't keep her tears inside for long... She listened to the priest and the realization that everyone was gone hit her like a cold slap across her face. The tears were falling down her face and she didn't think she could stop them from falling...
She thought about her mom singing to her. Her mother would always sing The Beatles song Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds whenever she would feel upset or angry... She thought about that song and it helped her though....
The funeral finished and Lucy turned towards her brother... She wanted to leave, and she wondered if Marc wanted to leave to...
"Hey do you wanna leave? Or do you wanna stay?"

Bridgette let out a sigh of relief as the service ended. Not only were her own emotions completely draining her, the strong emotions of those around her were ripping through her, making her feel as though her entire body would implode from the overload. She now vowed to herself that she would never again attend a funeral unless she was sure she could contain her empathy, or it was absolutely necessary.
It was times like these when Bridgette despised her empathy. It was ironic really that she had been given this power, for she completely loathed being at the mercy of everyone else's feelings. It made her feel as though she had no control over herself, and she hated it.
Bridgette took a deep breath and stood up from her seat, feeling the strong need to vacate the room as soon as possible.

(( I got bored so I decided to post for Caitlin even though she won't be interacting with any characters just yet))
Caitlin, stepped out of the terminal of the San Fransisco International Airport. She let out a quick breath Looking around. Welcome to my new life. Caitlin thought as she swung her bag over her shoulders. She was out on her own now. College life behind her. Parents behind her. It was like a entire new life. How entirely new that would be she did not know. It was ironic how different her life would be. For now she was completely oblivious.
Caitlin quickly made her way to baggage claim, grabbed her bags off the belt as soon as her eye spotted them and made her way out the door. She called for a taxi as she saw one pass by. Quickly flagging it down. She stepped into the Taxi and shut her door. Giving the cabby directions to the Hotel she would stay at for a few days. Until her apartment was ready.
She also had to wait a few days also until her possessions arrived. She did not have a lot. Since she did not have furniture or the sort. She just got out of college. How many college students had fully furnished living quarters that they owned?
It didn't take too long for her to arrive at the hotel. She paid the cabby and got out of the car. Making her way to the reception desk. After a few moments she was walked up to her room. That would be home for the next few days. She entered the room and tipped the bellman. After she heard the door click she went to her bed and immediately immersed herself in it. She was tired from the long flight. It didn't take long for sleep to overtake her. Followed by a strange dream she had never dreamed before...

Marc was only half listening to the Priest as the funeral began. He couldn't deal with this and everything that was said was just words. How many people truly knew them? None. He only sat through it because he loved his aunt and uncle.
He wasn't sure how long the service lasted, but it was finally over and people were beginning to pay their respects. He didn't notice his family leaving and he didn't care. Lucy turned to him with tear stains on her cheeks. Marc pulled her into a hug and took a deep breath. He caught her thoughts about leaving and a moment later she asked if he wanted to leave or stay. "Let's go. I can't deal with these people who think they knew them."
Marc turned around to look at Bridgette and catch the look in her eyes. He went into her thoughts and knew she didn't like the atmosphere. "Hey, Bridge, we're leaving. I'll call you later and maybe you can come over," he gave her a smile and waved.
Marc held onto his sister and they made their way out to the parking lot. "Do you wanna go home or grab something to eat?" he asked.

Chris had finally gotten over saying good bye to everybody. He was sick of this atmosphere... People were giving him false sympathy and he didn't need it right now. None of these people know what he was going through... He was fed up... He wanted to leave... He turned and saw the Elders looking at him yet again. What the h*ll did they want form his life? They messed it up enough already... He didn't need them anymore... He saw them approaching him... He could orb out in the middle of daylight...
Chris could feel the tightening of his stomach... Those d@mn Elders must have triggered it. He saw Camille getting ready to leave as well. He said good bye to her and ran off into a private room where he orbed out.
Chris found himself onto of the Golden Gate Bridge.... This was his spot to come and think about his problems. He orbed there and as soon as he arrived he started to kick a beam nearby. He was angry... At himself, at his parents and at the Elders... Especially the Elders...
*******************************************************
Lucy felt Marc hug her... She was glad she still had him... Marc was pretty much the only person she could truly count. She didn't want to lose him along with the other members of her family.
"Can we just go home please Marc... I don't think I'll be able to eat anything..."
*******************************************************
Camille watched as the guests left one by one... She kept looking towards Chris who seemed to have everything together... But she knew he was freaking out deep inside... Chris was not the type to exclaim his feelings to the world... He was always the shy kid.
Camille decided that she needed to get out of there. Now that everything was finally done and taken care of, she could leave... She needed to pass by her job at one of San Fransisco's hotels and see when she would be working. She saw Chris leave. She waved goos bye to him and left as well...
It didn't take her too long to get to the hotel. Camille worked as a receptionist at the hotel... She went to the front dest and asked her her schedual and waited...

Bridgette looked up at Marc and mustered up a small smile,
"Um, sure... yeah, that sounds fine. I guess I'll see you around" she replied with a nod.
She took this as her cue to leave and all but ran out of the sanctuary, weaving in and out of the different people that had come to pay their last respects to Piper and Leo.
When she was outside she leaned against one of the church walls and sighed deeply, the bliss of only being able to feel her own emotions washing through her. She closed her eyes and continued to breathe deeply, giving herself a few moments to compose herself after the massive overload.

Caitlin woke up a hour later. She didn't remember the strange dream she had. She stretched her arms and yawned. She felt the growl of her stomach and realized she needed to eat some thing. She slipped into her shoes and ran a quick brush through her hair before making her way into the hall. She slipped in the elevator and down to the main hall. She looked over to the receptionist desk. There was a girl waited there, who oddly looked somewhat like herself. She wasn't sure if the girl was in line. “Excuse me are you in line?” Caitlin asked the girl who happened to be her cousin, little did she know.
*************************************************************
Melinda hadn't really noticed the Elders. She didn't really notice much of anything for the moment. She felt numb. It was hard to see anything anyway, from her teary eyes. Melinda stepped out of the church. Frozen in her tracks a moment, as a tear fell down her face. She already had enough tear marks on her face already. She stood there for a moment lost in thought. As a few guest walked passed her as they left.
Melinda sighed then felt something wet roll down her cheek. More tears she thought, but it was rain this time. Melinda felt the rain as it started to come down hard now. Melinda almost stood there, letting herself get soaked. That's what she felt like anyway, heavy, numb and cold.
Melinda snapped out of her daze and ignored the vacant looks of a few people. She probably should get out of here before one of her brothers saw her soaked and oblivious to anything around her.
Melinda slowly walked to her car. She stuck the key into the door and twisted it unlocking her car. She opened the door and slid in, turning the ignition on and slowly backed out, driving out of the parking lot and away from this mess.
After a few miles of driving she stopped at the red light. Looking through the bleary dashboard as the rain rain pelted down. This light seemed as if it was going on for an eternity. Mel rested her head on the steering wheel. As silent tears came down again. She hated all this. The thought almost made her feel angry. All she could question was why?
Melinda rested her head firmly in the steering well, and heard her horn go off. She immediately jumped up, startled from the sudden burst of noise. She heard other people angrily honk theirs back. She wanted to tell them all to Pi$$ off.
Finally the light turned green and Melinda hit the gas pedal. After a few more minutes she was home. Was it really home? When she would be coming to an empty house with no Piper and Leo. No smell of her mother's cooking or her laughter? No it wasn't home anymore. It was more like purgatory.
Melinda slowly got out of her car, turning the engine off. She shut the door and made her way up the steps and into the house. Her empty house that felt like a nasty void in her life. She made her way up the stairs and into the bathroom.
She looked at herself in the mirror as her hair dripped down to the floor. Melinda turned on the water to the shower and had it on cold. She wondered if she could even feel the coldness run down her body. She wondered if she was numb enough not to feel it.

Charlie glanced at his watch and figured the funeral service was probably done by now. He hadn't gone because he felt weird invading on the family's personal thing, that and he felt partially guilty for not using his powers. If he had he might've saved the Halliwells.
He suddenly was enveloped in a collumn of flame before reappearing outside the Manor's front doors. He let himself in and took a quick look around the place and found it was empty.
he heard a crash in the kitchen and spun to face it his fists raised in order to fight if need be.
"Hello?" he called out tenativley waiting for someone to answer.

Bridgette had opened her eyes as she watched Melinda come out from the church. She frowned at the far away look in her eyes, and the tears that continued to roll down her face. People walked passed her without really noticing her, and Bridgette had half a mind to go and make sure she was ok. But before she had the chance to, rain started to pour down, and Marc's cousin had escaped to her car.
She sighed as the rain beat down on her, soaking her to the core. It was so fitting and it certainly didn't help to lift her mood. She figured now would be a good time to leave, and began to walk.
Her apartment was not far from the church, and she had not anticipated the weather, so she had come here on foot instead of wasting gas, now forced to walk the full 8 or so blocks that rested between here and her home. Although Bridgette didn't exactly mind the rain, it wasn't exactly the best weather to be walking in when one was wearing heels and a skirt.
As she walked, Bridgette continued to think back on the funeral, despite her internal protests. As she reached the third block, she let her thoughts rest on Marc, and hoping that he was ok. She hadn't really gotten the chance to talk to him and was worried about him.

Melinda felt no different in the shower than she had when standing in the rain. The cold water didn't seem to make her shiver at least she didn't feel it. She didn't care. After a few minutes she washed up and stepped out of the shower. She wrapped the towel around her body and grabbed another one to dry her hair with. She looked in the mirror. She didn't even look like herself. She looked broken.
Melinda rubbed the towel into her hair to make it more damp than soaked, then pulled her back and tied it. She didn't feel like blow drying it. She could let it air dry. Even if it was up and it would take longer she didn't care.
She slowly mad her way into her room and slipped into some sweat pants and a t-shirt. She didn't care what she looked like. She was just glad to get out those clothes, that were filled with sadness. Melinda walked out of her room and back down the stairs and to the kitchen. She went to the cupboard and pulled out a coffee cup and poured coffee from earlier in it. She went over to the microwave to heat it and when it was done she took it out and sat at the kitchen table.
Melinda felt a shiver run up her spine when she realized where she was. The kitchen the place of her parents death. She didn't want to be in here anymore. This place this house. She needed to get out. Go somewhere far away and get away for a moment. Melinda quickly slid the coffee across the table as it slid of the ledge and broke , hitting the floor. The sound reminded her of that day. She needed to get out of her now before she completely lost it.
Melinda ran out and toward the front door, not realizing someone was already there. She did not hear them say hello either. Instead she ran right into them, stopping her in her tracks. It was Charlie her boyfriend. She was too much of a mess right to even notice or realize it.

Camille had been waiting quite a while for the girl working to find her schedule. She was a new person and obviously didn't know where the schedules were. Camille rolled her eyes and continued to wait as the receptionist took a few phone calls. She shook her head.
Camille then heard someone approach her and ask her if she was in line... Camille sighed...
"No... I'm just waiting to get something, you can go right a-..."
Camille turned to face the girl and stopped dead in her tracks. She stared at what looked to be a very familiar face... This girl looked a lot like herself. Camille rubbed her eyes and shook her head. It was probably a weird coincidence...
"Sorry... umm yeah. I'm not in line, you can go right ahead..."

Marc didn't need to use his telepathy to know her thoughts. They were twins, and her voice alone made him just nod and lead her towards the car. He pulled out his keys and got in. Lucy followed suit and they were driving toward their apartment.
They arrived and Marc walked slowly from the car to the building. He was getting soaked but didn't care. The rain never bothered him because it helped block his thoughts (and those of others around him). Once inside, Marc took off his shoes and loosened up his tie. "How about take out? You should probably eat something," he gave her a soft smile and went to the kitchen where they had about a dozen different take out menus. "You pick."

Bridgette reached her apartment with much relief, being that she was completely soaked and freezing.
The first thing she did was take a steaming shower, and then changed into the most comfortable clothes she could find, a big step up from the formal wear she had been wearing to the funeral. After it had dried, she tied her hair into a high ponytail, and walked to her comfy chair, a book she had been recently reading lying before it on the coffee table.
She sighed as she picked it up and opened it, her eyes scanning over the words, but her cluttered mind wasn't exactly understanding anything she was reading.
Bridgette had found simple things like reading and writing tough to do for her concentration on almost everything was slim. It seemed that no matter what she did, her mind would always drift to the depressing details of her and her friends' lives.
It wasn't as if she was unhappy with her life, it was just that some thoughts were hard to avoid, and with her luck in life with demons and death around every corner, they were even harder to avoid.
Bridgette forced her mind clear, and concentrated solely on the words on the pages, allowing her to at least momentarily drift from the real world.

Lucy didn't say anything during the car ride... She just looked out of the window at the rain falling down and hitting her window as the car drove by. She had always loved the rain, but today it didn't give her the same feeling of comfort and peace. Instead, it gave her the feeling of sorrow...
They finally arrived to their apartment building. Lucy and Marc didn't move in with any of their aunts and uncles after their parents died. They lived in the same apartment they grew up in... It was hard at first, but they eventually started to adjust to living on their own. Lucy followed Marc inside and took off her shoes. She was soaking wet from the rain outside... She looked down at the menus that Marc showed her... She didn't care what they ate... She decided to pick the Chinese food, because it seemed to be the least expensive...
"Let's just go with Chinese... I gotta get out of these clothes. You order, I'll get changed..."
Lucy walked to her room and slowly took of her wet clothes. She then slipped into some loose comfy jeans and a t-shirt. She pulled her hair into a loose bun and walked back to the kitchen and sat down at the table.

Marc nodded and grabbed the phone. He dialed the number and ordered more than was needed. They were used to eating out because they hadn't been as spoiled by Piper's fabulous cooking. He didn't even want to imagine how his cousins would survive food wise. The thought actually made him laugh after he hung up the phone.
He went to his own room and changed out of his funeral outfit. He was wearing jeans and a random t-shirt. Marc walked back into the kitchen and sat across from his sister. "Wanna talk?"

Lucy watched as her brother left the room. While he was gone, she drummed her fingers on the table and waited for either the food to arrive or for her brother to come back.
Marc came and joined before the food had arrived. He asked her if she wanted to talk... Lucy didn't know what she wanted... A part of her wanted to lie in bed all day and forget she ever was of Halliwell blood. She sighed...
"I dunno... I guess it's all hitting me now... What are we supposed to do now that everyone's gone?"

Caitlin noticed the irritation in the girl's voice. Though it wasn't directed at her. It seemed directed at the girl at the receptionist. The receptionist did look a little confused like she was new or something.
Caitlin looked directly at the girl a minute. She really did look a lot like herself. Not completely but they did look like they could pass for long lost sisters or something. The girl seemed to be looking at her as well. It was certainly an uncanny resemblance.
The girl finally asked her question and Caitlin wondered if she may have lived here. She looked like she would know more than the girl behind the counter. “Actually.....do you happen to be a local?” Caitlin asked if she was. She could ask her a good place to eat. (P3 lol)

The Elders watched an angry Wyatt leave. They would need to keep an eye on him as well. That wasn't the proper attitude to have as a half whitelighter, whether his parents had just died or not. They were going to approach Chris but he left before they had the chance. They sensed him orbing out. Two could play at that game or in this case more. There were about three Elders.
All three of the Elders orbed out and onto the Golden Gate Bridge
“Thought we might find you here Christopher” an Elder said looking at him. He was angry too. Something he and his brother needed to control.
