“I’m sorry, things have been stressful” she said putting it lightly “But that is no excuse, I’m sorry” she said giving her cousin another hug. “Now about some good old fashioned home cooking?” she said heading into the kitchen and getting out the milk, eggs, cheese and other various items. “Andy” she said out loud hoping he could join them. “So how was your trip” she said with a smile cracking some eggs into a bowl, while looking up at Neo.

"Okay, well while you guys cook dinner, Ill go get Chris and see if he's awake and wants to eat!" Cherish said, she really just wanted to go see Chris and give Mel and Neo a chance to catch up. She headed over to Chris's apartment.

"Well, It was very new, that's for sure. I vanquished three vuodu doctors, found a familiar that wouldn't stop following me, had to translate everything I wanted to say, and eat exotic foods, or at times mystery food. It went pretty well", Neo said, looking back. Melinda served him his plate.

“Well sounds interesting” she said with a laugh “Oh she will be back she just went to get Chris, it looks like it’s just us” she said with a smile. “Well things uh have been hectic around here to say the least” thinking about her little “incident” and about Mona sh!t Mona she thought, her and Neo had been good friends like the rest of them were. “Uh Neo…..maybe you should sit down”

“Uh……well” Melinda said rubbing her temples. “Mona……she kind of is with Wyatt now, she went over to his side and turned her back on us” she said swallowing hard still not believing it herself.

Mona heard Wyatt whisper the sweetest words into her ear... This was the first time since they had gotten back together that he said "I love you". Mona turned to face him....
"I love you to Wyatt..." She whispered. She let him hold her as she began to fall into a deep state of relaxation... she heard Wyatt's strong heart beat... and it began to lull her to sleep....
Soon after falling asleep, Mona opened her eyes.... she still felt Wyatt's comfortng grip around her.... but she also felt the light of a new day outside.... It was morning... Mona had finally slept through an entire night... that was the first time that had ever happened.... She smiled... reuniting with Wyatt must have been the reason for her finally finding comfort....
Mona decided to stay in his arms... she didn't want to wake him up... she was enjoying this too much.

Chris was about to tell Cherish everything... how he felt... how he knew how she felt.... He wanted to get everything out in the open, when some one knocked on the door... Chris rolled his eyes... who was that?
Cherish opened the door and Chris saw his cousin Neo... Chris was so excited to see him. It had been so long since he had seen him or talked to him... Before he could get up and give his cousin a welcome home hug... Cherish told him to lie down and to relax.
Chris tried to relax... but it was hard... he wanted to talk to Cherish so badly... he eventually drifted off to sleep.
Chris woke up a few hours later... Cherish and Neo were gone and they had left a note for Chris.... He decided to wiat a bit in cae Cherish came back.

Cherish didn't want to wake Chris so when she got to the apartment she just opened the door. She took a few steps inside, "Chris, are you awake?" Cherish just wanted to make sure he wasnt walking around naked or anything, not that shed mind, but she didnt want him to be embarassed.

Wyatt smiled and just held her in his arms laying down. He watched her fall asleep and slowly, he drifted off himself. Hours passed and he slowly awoke to find Mona in his arms. He smiled and gave her a kiss. Outside his window, he saw sun. "Good morning."

Mona felt Wyatt's kiss and heard him talk to her.... She smiled and looked up at his face..
"Good morning.... That was the best sleep i have had in a long time..."

Wyatt moved some hair out of her face and smiled. "That was the most peaceful and quietest sleep I've had in a long time." Being King of Magic meant he was "oncall" 24/7 and demons would enter his sleeping quarter at all hours, asking stupid questions. Thankfully, with a spell put around the Manor that allowed only him, Mona, and Bianca to move in and out of the Manor freely, it was more quiet.

“Nothing, you know I think you need some Orange Juice, it does the body good, oh wait no that’s milk, I’ll get you a glass” she said quickly looking away. Obviously avoiding the question. She quickly went over to the fridge and pulled a glass from the counter and poured the milk but accidentally spilled it from nerves. She had completely forgotten about what had happened with Mona after spending time with Andy until now of course. “Damn it” she said as the milk spilled on the kitchen floor.

Chris turned to face Cherish.... How was he going to do this??? What would he say to her? How could he make her see and understand the whole situation...
Chris tucked some of Cherish's hair behind her ear. He looked into her beautiful green eyes.
"There's quite a lot for us to talk about Cherish.... but I think the best way to start is by doing this."
Without thinking, Chris gently leaned towards Cherish's face and planted a smooth kiss on her soft, beautiful lips. He came out of the kiss with a smile on his face... he hoped he didn't just mess everything up.

'By doing what' Cherish thought, but then she felt Chris moving closer and kiss her, she wasn't sure if she was supposed to kiss back, but she couldnt stop herself, it felt so right. She had been dreaming about this for, well forever. After the kiss they parted lips slowly and she looked deep into his eyes, she could feel a tear start to form, 'Im not gonna cry' she thought, but she couldn't stop it. "Sorry" Cherish whispered as she raised her hand to wipe the tear from her face.

Chris held Cherish's hand and put it down. He then put his own habd to her face and wiped the tear away. He then moved his hand below her chin and held her face up.
"You don't have to worry about crying Cherish.... It's ok...."
Chris moved some of Cherish's hair from her face. He was so happy that he finally kissed her.... that he could finally be honest with her.
"Cherish.... There is some thing that you don't know about me... some thing that I've hidden from you for the longest time and that I've wanted to tell you so badly before this whole mess even started."
Chris took a deep breath.... If he wasn't careful he may start tearing up as well.

"Chris, Im starting worry, tell me!" Cherish didnt want to sound demanding, but she wanted to know, good or bad, the build up was killing her. The moment was so perfect, she just hoped that what he was gonna say wasnt going to ruin it.

Neo used his powers to scan through Melinda's thoughts, he knew she hated it when he did this but he knew Melinda had a tendency to hid her feelings...she couldn't do that with him, even if she wanted to. He wasn't being rude by scanning her thoughts, he was too worried, something was wrong with her. And it was! He saw what had happened with her, Mona, and Wyatt."Melinda, don't lie to me...you know me better than that."

“Look I really don’t want to talk about it” she said getting some paper towels and wiping up the floor. “I really wish you would not do that” she said looking at him with frown. “I don’t want the whole entire world to know, that I lost my mind” she said going to the garbage and throwing the milk carton and paper towels away. “I mean I’m sorry I know you mean well, it’s just I don’t want to think about it. She said swallowing hard. She did not mean to snap at Neo like she did.
