Animosity of Affinity

"Oh, the pizzeria!" Neo bringing up the pizzeria made her think about earlier with Chris, she hoped he was okay. "You can come work with me if you need a job, and I have an extra bedroom at my apartment as well. But its cool if you wanna stay here." Cherish was putting her foot in her mouth, she was rambling, she had a tendency to do that when she felt uncomfortable. Why did she feel uncomfortable? She had known Neo just as long as she knew the rest of the Halliwells. 'Oh well, Ill get over it' she thought.

“Don’t I feel special” she said looking at Andy, then watched him carve his initials “Well at least you won’t feel old” she said with a smile “Not that you are old” she said with a laugh taking the steps and carving &MH. Which now read AT&MH. She looked up to Andy with a smile. “See that wasn’t so hard” she said looking up at him and his smile it was so gorgeous “Has anyone told you have gorgeous smile?” she said with a slight laugh

"Depends on what you consider old," Andy laughed and watched Melinda finish the carving. He stared at the AT&MH and turned back to Melinda with a smile. Her words made him smile wider. "A few people, but no one lately." Andy moved closer to Melinda and cupped her face. Again, he initiated the kiss.

Melinda once again felt him drawing her close and embracing her in a warm passionate kiss. She leaned into him bringing one hand to his waste and the other at his back side. This kiss seemed to of lasted longer than the others. She slowly parted her lips from his to catch her breath. Each kiss got more amazing. She wondered if he felt the same way. She had not really kissed too many guys. Maybe one or two in high school, but nothing like this. She had never been serious with anyone until Andy. Melinda looked up at Andy realizing herself she had not felt this happy since the day of her mothers death. “Andy…..” she said trailing off a bit then continued “You make me happy, happier than I’ve been in a long time” she said looking up at him with her sweet smile

Andrew Trudeau was lost in the kiss and had completely forgotten what was going until until Melinda broke apart the kiss that stupid thing called air. He smiled at Melinda again. He couldn't help it, she always brought a smile to his lips. "I know the feeling. I haven't been this happy is a long time," and he meant it. "I'm glad your secret was spilled Melinda. If it hadn't, this wouldn't have happened."

"If you have enough room, then I guess I wouldn't mind staying at your place. I'll need a little practice, but being a bartender sounds awesome, so I'll give it a shot. I could even use my powers to make people think I'm an expert, flipping glass cups and whatnot (Hypnosuggestion) it'll be great, just like old times, heh Cherish", Neo said blithefuly and gave Cherish a grin. He missed the good times they all had together before." Now, I hope you don't mind, but I brought a little guy with me", Neo had been using his powers to hide him from sight, it was a full blue-point gray kitten, "They were gonna sacrifice him in Africa, and I saved him. Then he became really attached to me, wouldn't stop following me! I named him Seth, I guess I'll make him my familiar, it's what I get for not minding my own business. You don't mind if I bring him along, right?" Neo asked expectantly.

“I’m glad too” she said smiling at Andy as she saw the sun start to rise. “Isn’t it beautiful?” she said gently taking Andy’s arms and looking at the sun starting to rise. She could not think of one better person than Andy to share this moment with

"Not at all, itll be cool, just like old times. Bartending wont be hard for you, if you can toss a pizza you can toss a bottle." Cherish was starting to feel more comfortable, she didn't know what was up with her, she wasnt normally a shy or nervous person, maybe all the changes in her life was affecting her emotions. She looked up outside to see the moon, it was full, and the sun was out. 'That's why i have been so weird, The moon' she thought. Her mother always told her she was connected to it, thats where he powers were based from, and her emotions. When she was younger she thought she was going to turn into a werewolf, but that never happened. "Well, let me go say goodbye to Chris and tell him we'll be back in a bit and head over to my house to drop your stuff off"

"Right, thanks a lot Cherish. Let me leave Melinda a note before we leave, I'm kinda worried about her", Neo and Malinda had always been able to talk to each other, and lately Malinda had been distant, so Neo decided to leave a note to see how she was doing and make sure she was fine. He grabbed a piece of paper and wrote down were he was staying, how the trip had gone and to pay him a visit whenever she could. He knew she was always in the kitchen, so he left the note on the fridge. "Ready to go", Neo said grabbing his luggage as Cherish held Seth in her hands.

Neo wrote Melinda a note while Cherish went in and said goodbye to chris. She came back out picked up Seth and headed out the door. She lived just a block down the road, so it wasn't much of a journey. "This is home!" She said as she unlocked the door to her cozy 2 bedroom apartment. She had been searching for a roommate, and many had come and gone, but it never seemed to work out. Mainly because she would have to ask Andy to use his memory dust on them after a demon decided to attack, and the cleaners were always there rummaging around invading privacy talking about their 'exposure' bull sh!t. "This is your room, you even have your own key, Theres a bed, a dresser, and a closet, I hope that works for now!" Cherish wasn't the best hostess but, Neo was like family, so she didn't have to be Susie homemaker.

Andy turned to the sun and smiled. "Almost as beautiful as you, Melinda," he said as he continued to look at the sunrise. His arm went around her and he held her close as he sat down on the grass in front of the tree.

Melinda smiled as Andy spoke, she felt him pull her close and rested her head on his chest listening to his heart beat, as they watched the sun rise together, she felt her eyes growing heavy and fell asleep right there in his arms with a smile across her lips after a long, troubling but wonderful day.

Andy watched her rest her head on his chest and then went back to the sun. After a few minutes, he looked back down and saw her sleeping with a smile across her face. He carefully orbed then back to her apartment, in her bedroom, and gently put her on her bed.

"That was fast. Good, this luggage was getting heavy", Neo said, putting everything in it's place in his new room. As he finshed folding and storing away the last shirt in the dresser, he noticed somthing was different about Seth. He had a silver coller around his neck, and on it was a silver symbol of the triquetra. That wasn't there before, thought Neo to himself, but he was all too used to things like that happening around him, so he excused it. "Cherish, what's up with Chris, he seemed tired out in the apartment, were you guys fighting a demon, or is he just stressed out about this whole mess?"

"Chris, uhh he almost died, but lets not talk about him!" Cherish could feel her cheeks turning bright red as she started twirling her hair and turning around to walk out of the room before Neo noticed. "Do you want to get some breakfast? I bet you are really hungry!"

Melinda slowly opened her eyes, to wake up to her warm bed. She obviously had fallen asleep, and Andy had been sweet enough to place her in her bed and even cover her up. She stretched her legs it was only eight in the morning she must have dosed off for an hour. She quickly went out to the kitchen then checked on Chris who was sleeping. She smiled glad he was okay. She went to the kitchen to get some orange juice when she read a note left by Neo “Neo!” she said grabbing the letter off the fridge glad to know her cousin was back. She left a note for Chris saying she had gone over to Cherishes and to orb over when he woke up. She quickly grabbed her keys and drove off to Cherishes. After a few minutes she got out and walked up the stairs knocking on the door.

She started walking out the door not even waiting for a response from Neo. She just wanted to get out of the area when she heard a knock on the door. 'I wonder who it is' she thought to herself. "Melinda!" She screamed as she opened to door to her best friend. "We have SOOO much to talk about", Melinda had SOOO much to explain. "Neo's here!"

"Heck yeah! I could go for a bite; All that food in Africa was good but after a while I was homesick for some American food", Neo then changed and quickly brushed his hair. "So were we'll we eat?"

Melinda saw Cherish open the door and heard what she said “Oh we certainly do” she said with a smile thinking of Andy. Then she heard Neo talking about food and laughed “Oh don’t talk such nonsense Neo, you know I’m going to cook for my favorite cousin” she said with a smile walking over to him, greeting him with a hug.

"Hey Melinda!", Neo said with great relief to finally see his cousin." How've you been, you've hardly called!"
