Saw this at another site and found it interesting. See what you guys think: In season seven's "The Bare Witch Project", when Leslie asks Phoebe about only having two sisters upon seeing Paige and Piper with Lady Godiva, I CANNOT stand the response Phoebe came up with. Something to the effect of, "Yeah I do, that's just our cousin."
This erks me to no end on behalf of the writers. Yes, Shannen Doherty had a messy exit from the show, but just because one of your sisters is dead, doesn't mean you should automatically downgrade the amount of sisters you have. With Paige in the picture, Phoebe still had THREE sisters, not two. Prue, Piper, and Paige. Just because Prue is dead does not mean that once she died, Phoebe just had two sisters. She grew up with Prue and Piper, and discovered Paige as her half sister. Death cannot sever the bonds of family, so Prue being dead does not and should not mean that Phoebe has two sisters. She has three, just one of them being belated. Is anybody else on the same boat as I am? I most certainly am. What say the rest of you? |

I really don't think this was a big deal. She was in a panic that Leslie was looking at this magical/fantasy/historical/whatever person, and was trying to get him out of there as soon as possible before anything happened. If she had of stood there and been like "No, I have three sisters but one passed away 3 years ago, this is just our cousin.. BYE" it would have been really awkward because she wanted to get him out of the house.

This line from Phoebe might be forgivable due to the circumstances, but the one in Cat House and how she acted during that episode when it came to Prue, that isn't. I expected a reaction closer to the 70s episode or the episodes before that when she talked about her Mom.

I agree that her not mentioning Prue during this convo makes sense, but it doesn't make sense that Leslie didn't know that she had another sister - by this point it should've been mentioned. |

If you watch that scene in particular, Phoebe actually invites Leslie into the house after Lady Godiva runs to the kitchen. She wasn't rushing him away from the house at all. In fact, they argued about stupidity with Godiva still there. She could've easily told Leslie she had a sister pass before bickering. |
