Does anyone remember hearing about a TV pilot Holly Marie Combs did back in 2009 for an American re-make of the U.K. TV series Mistresses? She would have been playing a lead role and would have also gotten a co-producer credit. After the pilot was made for the Lifetime network, the show didn't get picked up.
Apparently next year, Alyssa Milano will be starring in an American series named Mistresses, which is a re-make of the U.K. TV series Combs attempted to re-make three years ago. It's been picked up by the ABC network, however, it is under a different production company.
How ironic is that? I wonder if they've talked about it since they are neighbors and, perhaps, still close friends.
