Rose will be making a guest appearance on the hit ABC series, "ONCE UPON A TIME". She will be portraying the younger version of the Evil Queen's more evil mother, Cora. The latter is currently being portrayed by actress Barbara Hershey.

She was pretty good as the Evil Enchantress. Definitely can't wait to see her play young Cora. Any idea which episode Rose would be in? I'm guessing it's either 'The Queen is Dead' or 'The Miller's Daughter,' both airing in Feb.

I'll definitely try and catch it, though I don't watch the series so it might be a bit hit and miss!

You’re all welcome ;D Here’s a snippet from those lucky journalists who saw the episode: Of course, we still haven’t seen Once Upon a Time episode 2×16, The Queen is Dead, which airs March 3, but ABC’s press office has provided TV journalists with a screener to the 3/10 episode, The Miller’s Daughter! Needless to say, I’ve screened the episode, and it is a stunning 45 minutes of television on so very many levels. The acting is fantastic, special kudos to Robert Carlyle as Rumplestiltskin and Mr. Gold (who is just flat-out amazing in it), as well as Jennifer Morrison, Ginnifer Goodwin, Lana Parrilla, and Emilie de Ravin, as well as guest star Rose McGowan (as young Cora).
Much is packed in this brilliant retelling of the Grimm fairytale of the Miller’s Daughter, and all with a Once Upon a Time Twist, of course! It’s a big, pivotal episode, and everyone in the main cast is involved in big, and sometimes surprising ways.letstalktv.barbarabarnett.com/2013/02/preliminary-thoughts-time-2x16-the-millers-daughter-no-spoilers/I really don’t want to read more so as not to spoil myself. But so far other reviews are along similar lines. And Rose got a bit praise too so now definitely excited to see how Cora goes from a simple Miller’s daughter to a…well female Voldemort of sort Makes me sad we never had some flashback(or flashforward) episode with Wyatt in season 6 Charmed. yes thanks for sharing, I'm liking the dress! really looking forward to watching it now- the UK gets the new season in the spring I think ;D Here, unless the season has finished and sometimes when the whole show has ended, then that show airs. And sometimes never. Good thing we have a thing called torrent I’m surprised Charmed fans are hesitant to watch this. To me, it’s the closest thing to Charmed since….well Charmed when it was at its best of course. In OUAT we have: Female characters: The show centers around its females leads. As quoted by an IMDB user describing the show: “a great, epic, fantasy adventure franchise that shows the strength of womanhood, motherhood, friendship between women, women standing together for a greater good.” If the show had revolved around only romance and trying to find a man and have kids to live your happily ever after(something I’m guilty of thinking at first) it most certainly would’ve been cancelled right away. Now even a spin-off is being planned. Family: Got everything from Mother/daughter, grandmother/daughter, mother/son moments. Step-mother/step-daughter….step great grandmother and even step-great great grandmother… yup absolutely everything. Same goes for father/son moments and grandfather/grandson etc. for the characters. The main plot of season 1 is Snow White’s daughter having to save her cursed parents and other cursed fairytale characters. Magic: OUAT has all magic comes with a price instead of the personal gain concept. And without giving too much away, in the episode All Hell Breaks Loose, we saw the sisters dealing with exposure and its consequences right? Now imagine a whole town full of fairytale characters, both good and evil and something similar happening to them….soon. My guess is the finale since they need to do something big. Hell…another weird thing? Ginnifer(Snow White/Mary Margeret) and Jennifer(Emma Swan) have been friends for six years before they were casted as mother and daughter on the show so great on-screen chemistry much like Shannen and Holly. So definitely a must watch.

So is Cora evil? And RM is playing a younger version of her when she was good? I did watch a few episodes when the show first aired, it looked good but I couldn't get into it so I gave up!

Yup she's evil alright. And the way young Cora is holding the baby with that expression, I'm starting to doubt she ever was pure good. As for getting into the series, I really got into it by episode 7. Episode 12 made me really like it and then finally near season 1 finale, I fell in love with it. I guess for me it was because all the action mostly took place in flashbacks of fairytale land and not present-day. And also because flashbacks just annoy me. Even in Lost, the show I enjoyed, save for maybe one or two, the constant flashbacks in every episode really annoyed me But here in OUAT as the show progressed, finally everything began connecting and now I'm rather enjoying the flashbacks. And with magic, sometimes those flashbacks can actually not be flashbacks at all, which really caught me by surprise. Some people are getting into it in season 2, now that the curse is broken and action is in both present-day our world and their world. And now scrambling to watch season 1 before the breaks end and the new episode airs. Here's the season 2 promo ABC released during the Oscars:

Thanks for the vid, I don't mind flashbacks in tv shows, in the vampire diaries they flashed back to 1864 and I enjoyed that more then I thought I would! Back to OUAT though, I'm definitely going to give it a go- I like the genre so I expect I'll enjoy it. I've got into pretty little liars during the second season so I have high hopes!!

I've always loved fairytales and Disney animated features made about them. So it's a dream come true that Disney decided to make OUAT where I could watch all those characters together in one show. Still haven't watched Vampire Diaries yet, but it's on my series to watch list. As for PLL, I started watching because of Holly, but now I stick around mostly due to Troian Bellisario's amazing acting and finding out who the hell 'A' really is. Allison from afterlife?

Same reason why I started watching it! I'm really getting into it and that's surprised me because its not the sort of thing I normally watch. I really want to know who 'A' is too! When I first started watching I thought it was that woman who is blind and when I discovered it couldn't be her I was really confused! TVD is quite good.. I would say the first three seasons are the best, I'm lost with this season- getting to the point where I'd rather watch PLL ;D

Jenna, the blind woman is a teen since she attends school and all I was wondering where she disappeared off to. Haven't seen her in awhile. As for A's identity, it has to be someone with lots of money and power....having so many minions, even the police. The only family in town seems to be of Spencer's....and if you've seen the latest episode.....poor Spencer
