Alyssa's going to be at ComicCon this weekend!

She's very excited because she's going to ComicCon in San Diego (Silver's from Maryland) and just found out that Alyssa will be there to promote this novel. Silver is bringing along her Charmed comics and is hoping to get a chance to have Alyssa autograph one of them for her. Sure hope she gets that chance!

Silver saw on Twitter that Alyssa would be at ComicCon on Saturday promoting her book. That's as much as she knew so that's as much as I know. So I would say that she's not specifically going as Charmed (as compared to what Shannen, Holly and Brian did in Australia) but hopefully she'll still sign some autographs and won't mind seeing something that has something to do with Charmed.

Had to forward Silverstar's latest message:

As for Alyssa.....It was not looking good. I couldn't get a ticket for her signing. I tried day after day after day...the first day I went they weren't giving them out yet. The second day I went I couldn't get there early due to a Bones autograph signing and they were all gone. I tried giving them my best puppy dog eyes, but they wouldn't give me a ticket! So on Saturday I decided to just show up. No luck - they weren't giving out any more tickets (they only gave out 100. And to let you know, over 100,000 people attend comic con every year). But I wouldn't give up! I went around to each person working at the booth and innocently asked them if they were giving out more tickets. Eventually, I found a girl that was holding a stack of tickets. She was my last chance! So I went up to ask her if she was giving out any more. She handed me one right away and directed me to the end of the line! I was ecstatic! Definitely a lesson in persistence and not taking No for an answer! Not sure if the other booth workers were unaware that she was giving them out (she kept handing them to other people too). So I got to meet Alyssa! She was very sweet and of course gorgeous. I told her Charmed is my favorite show and thanked her for coming. She called me Darling and thanked me and gave me a hug. And then I got my picture with her! She was very sweet and genuine. Unfortunately, she was only autographing the graphic novel teaser that she was there to promote. But I wore my Charmed T-shirt for the picture. I was high the rest of the day!!!!

I'm so happy for her!

So Alyssa has been attending conventions, just not ones with the charmed cast.

Did anyone know what she said at it, and were any charmed related questions asked.

I'm happy for her with her comic.

Comicon has actors from many different genre shows.  They've had some in Ottawa.  Sadly, I've never been able to afford to go to them.
