1) Cole's last appearance would be "Witch Way Now"; he would've saved Phoebe from the witch hunter with more time left in the episode, he would've gotten the sisters to strip him of his newfound powers back in the Wasteland where they came from and then get him out of there again, and he would've moved out of the city with heartfelt thank-yous and tender goodbyes shared between him and Phoebe. Then the sisters realizing how much good they've done and can still do as witches would've resonated even further, and without setting the stage for Cole and the Halliwells all turning heel on each other being the early storyline of season 5. (Yes, as far as I'm concerned they all turned heel that season. Not just Phoebe, not just Cole [who despite all "creative" intent was the sympathetic one]. Piper and Paige hated him too and were just as willing to get rid of him except when he wanted to be gotten rid of, not to mention Paige cheerfully plotting his premeditated murder at the beginning of "Centennial Charmed" and practicing her plan to do so on Leo! [She was REALLY fortunate Leo was gracious enough to never mention that to Piper even when he made sure she told them about her attempt to vanquish Cole, otherwise we might've seen Piper attempt to vanquish her.])
2) More Inspector Cortez. Him and Darryl as a buddy-cop duo would've been cool to see, and he could've picked up the cover guy role full-time once Morris became Lieutenant. In fact I think he could've been better than Darryl was, as he was more perceptive and less weary about the whole magic thing, plus I could see him really wanting to atone for almost ruining the Halliwells' lives and suspecting them of killing their own sister. Plus he could've had a nice bond with Paige in particular, with their discovering the secret at the same time being the starting point.
3) Move to TNT or the USA Network starting with season 5—or, if not possible, have them be on there from day one. Between this and the Cole arc being finished early and favorably, we would have a new season 5 which in terms of episodic plots and guest characters is a better-executed blend of current seasons 5 and 6 each cut in half, with the overarching seasonal plot being the planting of seeds to set up the introduction of the next demonic leaders, thus setting the stage for new seasons 6 and 7 to end the show.

Of course they wanted relationships - they just kept choosing the wrong guy. They had to. If they were perfect for each other, it would get boring - no drama. Totally agree.

The 3 changes I would have made:
-Not killing off Prue, or at least making her have guest appearances every now and then ((I heard Shannen didn't want to comeback, but they could have tried convincing her...) there were also so many other ways to make even dead Prue a part of few episodes ( e.g summoning young Prue, invisible Prue who guides theem, etc....) and they also should have mentioned her more often...
-Cole wouldn't turn into a invincible stalker and would be around longer (In my opinion charmed wasn't the same without Cole, Julian was such an excellent actor, he played all 4 roles of his very believing: Balthazor, Mortal, The Source and the Stalker). I think with him staying longer in the Charmed, the whole leprachun and Nymph stuff wouldn't be existent and btw: Why didn't they do an episode about his mother? I mean, after all she was a very powerful demon, she could have came back.. The would have been a very interesting storyline.
-The whole season 6 would not exist. This season is just beyond awful, the only good episodes for me were Chris-Chrossed & I dream of Phoebe, the rest was just bad, really bad, because of:
* Gideon (it was such a stupid story line, an elder being evil, wanting to kill Wyatt.... * Chris - AAHHH!! The whole "I have a theory who might turn Wyatt evil - ooh my theory was wrong" was just driving me insane and he not telling them who he really was * The whole season was just too much focusing on Wyatt and Chris, like it was a spin-off of Charmed... *Why did they introduce the Cleaners anyway, when the didn't do anything in AHBL & SWCTG ?? Soo unrealistic

It would have been brilliant if an episode focused on Cole's history.. His parents and his early erm.. Demon hood lol.

Like how past people have commented it was hard for me to choose as there were quite a few things I would've changed about the show like Andy not dieing as I loved him & Prue together & his interaction with Darryl for example. But my main 3 would've been that.
1. Prue wouldn't have died end of season 3 as she was what glued the sisters together & motivated them been witches which's why I liked seasons 1-3 more than the later ones except 6 as they vanquished evil together via the P03 & were a unit a team who worked together for a common goal caring about innocents & saving them which I thought after Prue died the sisters never really did subesquent to vanquishing "The Source" as they prefered wanting their normal lives over caring about innocents saving them & vanquishing demons which they only did when they wanted to or when either them or a family was threatened not when they should've which Prue would've made when Piper & Paige do when they went that way so Phoebe would've died instead of Prue & they would've still found Paige.
2. The sisters would've found out Cole was "The Source" earlier than they did as that storyline dragged on too much for me & if they'd had done so tried to dispossess him before actually killing him so at least they'd tried to save him not outrightly murder him then when Cole did die in "Long Live The Queen" he wouldn't have come back or if he did not gone biserk season 5 i.e. obsessed after Phoebe etc. He could've either departed after season 5 premier & went somewhere else leaving on amicable terms with Phoebe or if stayed found someone else he could love as much as Phoebe who could've helped redeem Cole showing him how he could use his demonic powers for good thus making him a better man.
3. The evil "The Charmed Ones" vanquished after season 4 grew stronger each year that came so there were real formidable foes they came up against who couldn't be blown up or vanquished via a potion or athame so easily which I really hated especially Piper as I think it made her too powerful making "The P03" really use their brains, do research & form battle stratergies so like in number 1 they worked together as a team all the time utilising each other skills bouncing of one another so it looked they really vanquished evil etc.

1(. Prue and andy live 2(. Prue getting projection as her third power 3(. The power of four beating all the evil and happy endings for all of them like piper and leo with kids. Phoebe and coop kids. Paige and henry kids. And prue and andy with of course kids . And grams and allen together never saw him as a ghost or after witch stock.

Super hard to contain myself to three changes, but here we go:
1. Season 4 ends with "I'm nobody's hero" from Cole. The latter half of Season 4 would drag on in S5 until the 100th episode, in which Cole is vanquished.
2. Chris arrives in the latter half of Season 5, although more morally ambiguous and sinister. He warns of the 'gathering storm'. Witch Way Now? is this season's finale.
3. Season Six is the last season, which is a mix of Season 5, 6,7 and 8.
- Piper is pregnant in this season. - Leo is taken in by the Avatars, leaving Piper to deal with her pregnancy alone and Chris to take over WL duties. - Paige falls for Kyle Brody, who is also trying to stop the Avatars. They solve crime/help Innocents together. - Piper has Wyatt and the sisters agree to implement Utopia. - Chris and Kyle are both murdered trying to stop Utopia. - Leo realises they have made a terrible mistake but is 'erased'. - Paige realises Chris was her and Kyle's future son and swear vengeance against the Avatars. - The Finale Battle is between the sisters and the Avatars. - Piper and Paige would go back in time to save everyone again, but meeting Prue, who would help them. - The final episodes would have similarities to Necromancing the Stone (Wyatt's Wiccaning, with Prue in attendance) and Seven Year Witch (Leo's trial and Cole reappearance ). - Kyle is made a WL by the Elders and reunited with Paige. Drake is 'there' for Phoebe as an implied future boyfriend, but no flash-forward to their 15 kids.

1) Introduce a child later and don't overpower it. I was looking forward to seeing a witch baby develop over time and instead he could just do whatever the hell he wanted before he was even out of the womb. That's not interesting to me. Could have him/her born at the end of season 6/start of season 7.
2) Cole ends at Long Live the Queen. No wasteland, no ghost, no whispers, GONE!
3) I'm sort of cheating here, because this should probably count as two... but hey. Make Piper and Phoebe give a sh*t. Scrap Phoebe's advice column, make her a counsellor or something along those lines. It'd be a plot device that leads to her helping innocents, similar to Paige's social work before they stupidly got rid of it. That way Phoebe will actually be seen helping people and we won't have to be told every god damn episode! As for Piper, just stfu with the normal life stuff. Get her back into cooking, maybe have her teach a class or start looking for a restaurant or something. Just anything other than constantly whining about magic and her kids. Anything!
I have so many more, I could probably make something longer than my dissertation.

Hard to just pick three!
1. Wyatt's powers, I didn't mind them having kids, I minded a toddler being able to out-power the most powerful good witches of all time, it was stupid, keep Wyatt, but tone his magic down, because it was such a crutch in later seasons.
2. Stop Phoebe's obsession with having a child, her first four seasons were great and the by season 5 it was like she just stopped caring and wanted a husband and many babies.
3. Stop Piper's constant moaning about wanting a normal life, geez it's not like you had to fight demons 24/7, you had plenty of time to go and meet a friend for coffee, so stop making excuses and get out into the world!

Agree with both of you. In my changes I tried to keep "my" final season about the sisters by making Chris Paige's son (to stop the show becoming 'the Wyatt Family') and Piper's pregnancy is more about her feeling isolated and alone without Leo, not whatever superpowers Super Womb has his week. I would just give him his forcefield power only, but it would only manifest towards the very end of the pregnancy/early babyhood. Of course, in my series Piper doesn't have exploding power, so the forcefield would indeed be a boost whilst she is pregnant and without her husband.
Also, I couldn't agree more about Piper constantly moaning about the supposedly fabulous normal life she had before she was Charmed; you have a successful nightclub, an angel for a husband, children, two amazing sisters, a massive house. What more do you seriously want?
In fact, I especially like the ideas of them having different jobs. It's too over-the-top that Prue, Piper and Phoebe were all practically mini-celebrities in San Fran. After the Source was vanquished, Piper should've moved on to opening a restaurant and Phoebe never should've been a columnist, a boring and unrealistic job. Even if she'd just been a journalist, that would've been better.

Why do you random people care so much?" They definitely spent way too much time at Phoebe's office (speaking of which, why on earth did she have that big office to herself while every other staff member had a tiny desk outside?) Why they thought Phoebe sat at her desk tapping away was so damn interesting, I have no idea. And of course, she's a Charmed character, so we have to hear her bitch about it constantly while she's at it. Yeah I could see her as a journalist, I think anything that would get her out there actually communicating with people would have been a good move for her. Instead of her being closed off either at home or her office responding to letters from people she never meets. That would have made more sense with her Empathy too, they kept making out like it enhanced her column, but how? Is she supposed to be able to channel emotions through letters or something? Because the power didn't seem to work that way. And yes, Piper should have got back into cooking. Either finding a restaurant or starting a cooking class or something. In fact, she could convert P3, start a restaurant and run a cooking class their at certain times to help pay for it. They admitted themselves that the musical interludes at P3 never had any impact on the ratings, so I'm not sure why they didn't save the money they'd spend booking musical guests and actually do something worth while for the character. At least she's got her restaurant in the comics I suppose.

At least she's got her restaurant in the comics I suppose. You’re right; I forgot how stupid that was. And also when Piper ‘died’ in S7 and it was all over the news as if she was some Hollywood actress. Haha, I know. Everyone was crammed into a tiny open-plan office and Phoebe gets this enormous office to herself, and ‘works from home’ half the time anyway. I agree, Phoebe being a journalist could’ve been really interesting, especially if she was out on the streets looking for stories, and would get premonitions of innocents to help along the way, kind of like she did for that girl, Terri Lane, in ‘The Wendigo’. It kind of bugged me that Phoebe became such a hotshot columnist largely because of her powers, when really she became super selfish and shallow after S4. As for Prue, I liked her being a photographer, but actually preferred her at Bucklands. And, although I liked P3, it annoyed me how it was brought into the show - Piper suddenly decides opening a restaurant is 'too risky', even though she's managed one before, so instead she comes to the conclusion that opening a nightclub is that much easier. Ridiculous. If they really had to have the musical guests, couldn't they just have Piper take over Quake and then she could introduce open mic night type acts? Or she could've even have served food at P3, and make it a Hard Rock-type place.

Well in my fanfiction series Piper converts P3 into a nightclub/restaurant type place which she decides to do when the club starts not doing well because of competition and because I wanted to keep the former and introduce the latter to so Piper gets to do both things she wants to do meaning people go there for the music still but then eat there also.

I would not include Chris in the show, in fact he wouldn't exist. Piper would have one son(Wyatt).
Paige would of became a vampire a lot longer (following bite me).. She would of fell in love with the vampire she met in the elevator. Her and her sisters find away to kill the queen without killing him. They eventually become married.
Phoebe is the last one single, Paige sees how much she's hurt, and she gets an idea, she makes "Billy" from Phoebe ' s favorite movie real. Phoebe falls in love.. and so does Billy. And they finish off the series.

1. Erase S4-8. Bad writing/inconsistent. The sisters are not lovable anymore. And down right selfish.
2. In new S4-8. Keep the sisters morality as it was in S1-3. With focus being on their sisterly bond.
3. Remove Cole/Phoebe from S3 and onward. And have Prue/Cole happen starting S3 and on.

1. Erase S4-8. Bad writing/inconsistent. The sisters are not lovable anymore. And down right selfish.
S1-S3 is just as inconsistent as what others believe S4-S8 to be. S2E11 "Reckless Abandon" completely butchered the lore behind vanquishing ghosts that was built in S1E20 "The Power of Two". S1E20 "The Power of Two" says the only way to vanquish a ghost is for a witch to say a spell, in ghost form. But, in S2E11 "Reckless Abandon", we now have a potion to pour over a ghost's bones or kill the object of a ghost's rage. OFC, whitelighters had been a hot mess since their creation. In S1, they can heal, anything. But, S2 changed it not only once, not even twice but THREE times. In S2E8 "P3 H20", Leo says he couldn't heal Piper's Poison Ivy because he "wasn't destined to". In S2E12 "Awakened", Leo couldn't heal Piper's Aurora Fever because she wasn't hurt by evil, but Leo could heal Daisy's cut (that she caused, herself) just fine, in S1E21 "Love Hurts". And, in S2E22 "Be Careful What You Witch For" he says he "can't heal the dead". But, when Piper has Leo's powers, in S1E21 "Love Hurts", she practically revived him. S2E17 "How to Make a Quilt Out of Americans" tells us that Phoebe needs glasses. Twice, in one episode via S2E19 "Ex Libris" Phoebe wears two different sets of glasses but most of S2E17 "How to Make a Quilt Out of Americans" to S2E22 "Be Careful What You Witch For" has her wearing one pair of glasses. In S3E9 "Coyote Piper", Phoebe asks both Piper & Prue if they've seen her glasses. I'm assuming she lost only one pair of her glasses, but S3 doesn't show her wearing any glasses and continues until S4E16 "The Fifth Halliwheel", when she begins working at the Bay Mirror but stops, again, when we reach S6 (with the exception of S6E8 "Sword and the City" and S8E18 "The Torn Identity"). It's just part of Charmed's "charm" to be inconsistent.
