I don't believe Piper led Dan on..she was just trying to work things out with Leo who was never around anyway. She had feelings for them both..it happens. But Dan knew how she felt about Leo anyway.
I liked Phoebe in the early seasons, particularly S3.

I liked Phoebe in the early seasons, particularly S3. I agree completely. Leo even told Piper he wasn't going to come around anymore because he couldn't handle the situation. So what was she supposed to do wait and put her life on pause? It just doesn't seem right for someone to do that. I believe her feelings for Dan were genuine, but when Leo starting coming around more all those feelings she had for him came back. She even was honest and broke up with Dan, its not like she was sleeping with the both of them. I liked early Phoebe not so much Season 3 but she had a good storyline. I like Phoebe a lot the 1st half of season 4. She seemed mature and down to earth.

And Piper wanted a normal life more than any of them, and Dan could give that to her. I am glad she ended up with Leo though, I thought they were the strongest couple on the show - their relationship stood the test of time.
I liked Phoebe even more when Cole's character was introduced. She did mature, especially when she realised what Cole was up to, and vanquished him.

I am glad she ended up with Leo though, I thought they were the strongest couple on the show - their relationship stood the test of time. Me to. Honestly I couldn't stand Dan after awhile. Yes he was a gentleman but he came off as extremely try hard. He was to GOOD and tried to hard to impress Piper. Sometimes that can be a turn off to some women. I liked Phoebe even more when Cole's character was introduced. She did mature, especially when she realised what Cole was up to, and vanquished him. Your sig is just so perfect for this topic. I love It But yea, Phoebe in the long wrong did pull though for her sisters. My favorite scene for Phoebe will always be in Season 8 when she tells Coop off in her bedroom and tells him she needs to be there for her sisters, That they're what are important to her.

Hahaa I get what you mean about Dan, but I didn't mind that he was always trying with Piper..that was reassuring that he cared so much. And its good that he gave Leo a bit of competition..It was sad when he left! ah thanks! some people have quite the talent when it comes to fanart..me, not so much LOL It shows what a strong bond the sisters had, what Phoebe went through with Cole, she still went back to her sisters. What do you think about all the reboot rumours going around? I'm all for it, but I'm not sure it will happen.

What do you think about all the reboot rumours going around? I'm all for it, but I'm not sure it will happen. I'm willing to give it a chance. It certainly will be very different without Holly Alyssa and Rose but I won't have a bias opinion until I see what the new staff can project out into the audience. I don't see how the reboot can be any worse than Charmed later seasons. If they're doing the reboot based on the popularity of witch programs such as "American Horror Story: The Coven and That other show on Lifetime from what I've heard, than this could be the Charmed I always wanted. Meaning actual focus on the craft rather than fantasy elements. All I want though, is for the main actress' to have amazing chemistry and believable performances as sisters. Later Charmed lacked in this area also. I'll admit, its very soon for a reboot and I know a lot of fans who aren't happy about it. In a way I hope it happens because I'm curious to see where they take Charmed. It could be better than the original series. Whether it actually gets produced and reaches a pilot I don't know. With all the negative responses I've heard, I don't think its going to happen either I've also heard that the script writing is being done by the Executive producer from Party Of Five. Have you ever seen that show? I haven't. How was it? And will that quality reflect on what to expect on the Charmed Reboot.

I've never heard of that show never mind seen it haha.
I think rebooting Charmed because of its genre is one of the reasons behind it. I'd like it to have darker elements to it, as well as some focus on fantasy because that's what makes up Charmed - just leave the fairies and trolls behind lol I'd like it to be about the sisters, not so much all their children. But all their future's were shown in the finale..so it would have to tie in with that..But it could still work. I don't particularly feel negative about it, I think 7 years is long enough. The reboot might even draw new fans to the original series.

The Party of Five was about I believe five siblings who lost their parents in a car accident and they cope with the loss. Funny thing is that they take over their parent's restaurant and live in San Francisco.
The good thing about this is that the writer is known for a good family based show which is what people loved about Charmed. I am excited about the reboot because it gives Charmed the chance of fulfilling itself and that potential that always gets me excited after watching "Something Wicca this Way Comes." Charmed deserved better than what it got. As Piper said at the end of the episode "this should be interesting."

Now I'm even more excited and eager to see this reboot. I loved the family aspect of Charmed. That element was lost in Charmed later on. iamthesunI agree, this reboot has the potential to draw in a huge amount of new fans to the series. I also agree that the series needs to focus on the sisters which I'm hoping it will. I so don't want children to be the focus. Has there been any other news or info about the reboot?

Also here is the bio of Sidney Sidner: sydneysidner.com/who-i-am/ On the side, apparently people have been contacting her regarding the Charmed reboot, and her response was that she cannot accept any outside consultations and no decisions will be made until the Spring, and she will be unavailable to consult until February.

Easy season 2 by far. So many good episodes and phoebe saving innocents and just being a witch.
Out of all the sisters, she's the only one who truly was better when single. She's just so much fun when its on her being a witch and enjoying it.

Add me to the list of people who prefers Season 2 Phoebe. Hard to believe there was ever a time when Phoebe loved magic and being a witch and actually gave a damn about innocents. As with Piper, falling in love ruined her character, IMO.

Season 3 and 4 saw Phoebe at her darkest through her being in love with a renegade demon and becoming the Queen of the Underworld. That's probably when Alyssa was most passionate about the role. Still, I do prefer the younger and more sprightly girl who enjoys helping people to the deceitful woman who spent most of her time fretting about where her boyfriend was. Although, I would argue that Season 3-4 Phoebe is superior to the callous megalomaniac who abused her abilities to get pregnant in Season 5-8. At least she still cared to a certain degree about what happened to innocents.
This is how I would rank them...
Season 1-2 Phoebe >> Season 3-4 Phoebe >>>>> Season 5-8 Phoebe.

Clearly everyone here agrees, Phoebe was at her best in season 1 and 2, but season 2 being the best season for her, which it is for me.

Don't really have much to add that hasn't already been said, but I voted s2.
Loved her in s1, but loved Piper just a tiny bit more. Would definitely say season 2 was when Phoebe was at her best and most fun. Morality Bites, Pardon my Past, Chick Flick etc. I like Piper in season 2, but the love triangle stuff let her down somewhat.

Still, the first seasons. After that, she changed too much.

It seems to be that Season 1-2 Phoebe is the best, with Season 2 Phoebe being the very best. No surprises there! I wonder who voted for Season 4, though?

Season 2 hands down is Phoebe's best season! Every single great episode this season had Phoebe at center focus and brought out the best in her character. Episodes like Morality Bites, Witch Trial, The Painted World, They're Everywhere, Heartbreak City where among some of the best of the season and all of them revolved around Phoebe.
Phoebe's love for witchcraft was more expanded, while the other two had involved love lives Phoebe was more concerned with going wherever would happen during that time. In Witch Trial the episode literally begins with her in excitement with wanting to celebrate their 1 year anniversary of being witches and spends the episode reminding Prue that she liked being a witch too. Not to mention proving her voice of reason by providing moral support to Jenny such a great way to show off Phoebe's development. In The Painted World it shows Phoebe's more carefree side, yeah she goes overboard with the truth spell, but did it for a good reason. It also shows how into spell writing and being a witch Phoebe was at that time. Phoebe turned out to save the day when she proves to stand up to the warlocks Malcolm and Jane with her martial arts skills and made use of what she could with the smart spell.
Then there's Chick Flick, by far everything great about Phoebe in seasons 1 & 2 combined into one episode. It's also part of the reason Chick Flick itself was a great episode! Among other things.
They're Everywhere and Heartbreak City does such a nice job at showcasing how different Phoebe is at handling love compared to Seasons 3-8. Her bond with Eric was more interesting than any of her later love interests (minus Cole and Drake) and it wasn't part of a "Phoebe love cycle' or her "obsessing over men".. *sigh* Why did Phoebe have to change after this season?

I'm going to go with Season 2 as well but also Season 4 because Phoebe was put through hell and came out strong.
