One Time use Abilities in the Show

Ok I was wanting to get yall's opinions on some of the abilities that Charmed only shown once through out the series like when Prue used Telematerialization on the coffee creamer in Something Wicked This Way Comes and when Wyatt used Combustive Orbing on the dragon in Forget Me....Not. Also on any other one time use abilities y'all can think about.

Interesting. I recall Paige using her whitelighter ability to speak another language only once in season 7. And there's also something she does...I'm not sure what to call it which brings forth Sam and others trapped in a picture by a demon in season 8.

cyma I remember that episode about the picture I think that's like a foreshadow to what she can do in the comics where she can summon someone to her by speaking their name. I kinda wish she could have done that more in the series. It would have made some what easier for them to summon the bad guy to them so they could ambush him or someone else nstead of always having to do a spell to summon them.

Another similar thing she did and I can’t believe I forgot, with the help of a muse, she drew a sketch of a warlock and then concentrated and orbed his ring in season 4. Which means she had the ability to easily summon demons just by looking at the drawings of demons in the Book instead of a spell. But of course some powerful demons can stop themselves from being summoned and some might require help from her sisters, so it might not always work. But yes it would've been very interesting to see her use her powers like that more often rather than once.

Another one-time thing Paige did was being able to channel the powers of Evil Enchantress in the past.

There was also Chris blowing up Leo. A power we never saw him use again. And Leo bringing Phoebe and Piper back to life with Avatar powers. And Cole changing reality. Prue's power boost in Season 3 when she was acquired empathy, Phoebe and Piper with warlock powers. And I'm pretty sure there are more instances out there....

The one where chris blew up Leo if I remember correctly was "suppose" to be chris manipulating Leo's orbing and sending to him Valhalla, which never made any sense as to how Chris was able to do this to begin with.

Cole manpulating reality was the episode where at the end the girls vanquished him, but thatg would have been nice to see him use that ability in other ways or atleast use his other avatar abilities.

Speaking of Cole, got another one. In the season 3 premiere, he was able to not be affected by Piper's freeze. And he just vanquished the judge with the flick of his fingers...I recall him doing that as the Source, but not other instances when he was just a demon.

There was also the time when he "ran into" piper and phoebe in the book shop and was able to swap their book contents. Now I know some say that it was basically the same as when he swapped phoebe and that witch hunter so that the witch hunter basically shot himself, but I think this was 2 different abilities used or the later one with phoebe and the witch hunter was an advancement to when he swapped the books in the bags.

Haven't seen that S3 episode for almost two years I think, so I'm not sure. But I do remember Witch Way Now episode and Cole switching Phoebe after the witch hunter shoots at her right when the bullet was almost near her. It almost feels similar to the time-slowing down powers he displayed when he saved Daryll in S5 and again Phoebe who was...turned into a pumpkin? Perhaps he used two powers together? One freezing and the next switching?

Anyways more one-time powers: Leo in Brain Drain, entering Piper's mind. And then Leo entering her dream in S3 also. But perhaps they should be similar as both of them happened in Piper's head? I'm still trying to figure out whether Paige also displayed this ability when near death in S8, when she entered Piper's dream for help. Or was it the affect of Billie's potion, and when Paige lost consciousness for awhile, she was again back in the dreamworld and was able to enter Piper's dream?

One more ability which happened in Sense and Sensibility. The sisters were able to almost read each other's mind. And then Piper and Phoebe being Paige's voice to help her orb Wyatt from the Crone. Wish we had seen more of these instances.

In S8, when Paige & Henry were on a date, she created lights, like Leo did in Piper's wedding.

Actually it was Leo who created them not Grams.

In S8 there were three demons who not only shape-shifted into the Charmed Ones but were somehow able to use their powers as well, even though they never switched powers with them.

In season 5, the Crone's sparking power was never used before or after. Man she had some sick powers!

I think Cyma was referring to the very beginning of Once Upon A Time, the third episode of season three. Leo is taken by the Elders at the end of episode two, Magic Hour, so at the beginning of episode three, he's wanting to let Piper know that he's okay by going into her dream and telling her.

Paige sensing evil in season 4 episode "Size Matters" when she said the house she walked by near enough every day gave her the creeps & Leo says "You think you sensed evil?". Don't know why they never expanded on that afterwards as if they had've the sisters wouldn't have had to scry for evil in the future if the power progressed.

Another is when the Phoebe & Piper's powers were switched with mortals & that man Roony who had Phoebe's anticipated when Zankou's energy ball would hit making him 'n' Phoebe duck before it did.

Another thing Paige displayed was having apocalyptic dreams for weeks before the release of the Titans.

Leo's whitelighter friend Natalie using low version energy balls on Piper in the season 3 episode "Blinded By The Whitelighter" whilst she & the other charmed ones trained in that alleyway which I called "Light Balls" a sorter sub power of their photokinesis. & Paige's boyfriend Richard's former fiancee Olivia who fired plasma balls which spirits can do & was only used when Paige met him in the season 6 episode "Love's A Witch" & not before or afterwards by any other spirits which striked me as a bit strange there.

I actually forgot that Natalie did that! Leo did something similar in Piper and his wedding when he made the lights disperse around the room above them. Paige also did something similar in season 8 when she told Henry she was telling him she was a witch, as well as Leo in "Witch Stock."

Not sure if it's one time ability, but in "The Importance of being Phoebe episode", Cole evicts Piper, Paige and Leo from the Manor in a weird way. They are all sent super-speeding backwards out the door
