After 6 days, it may seem impossible, but a part of me is still hoping for some kind of miracle.

FLIGHT MH370 FACTBOX

Flight MH370 took off from Kuala Lumpur International Airport en route to Beijing at 00:41 on Saturday 8 March (16:41 GMT Friday).

About 50 minutes later, the aircraft lost contact with air traffic control.

No distress call was made.

On board, there were 12 Malaysian crew members and 227 passengers from 14 countries. That included 153 Chinese and 38 Malaysians.

Two Iranian male passengers, Pouria Nour Mohammad Mahread and Delavar Syed Mohammad Reza, were travelling on fake passports. Neither had any apparent links to terrorist groups.

No debris from the plane has been found in the international search.

At least 10 countries, including China, the US and Singapore, were using a total of 42 ships and 39 aircraft to search for the missing plane in the South China Sea, the Malacca Strait and the Andaman Sea.

Air France Flight 447: The Air France jet plunged into the Atlantic Ocean in 2009, killing all 288 passengers on board. Five days after a hectic search and rescue operation, the team found the wreckage of the Airbus

A330 flight: It took three years of investigation to conclude that ice crystals had caused the autopilot to disconnect. While the fuselage of the plane still lies on the bottom of the ocean, bodies of 74 passengers remain unrecovered.

Flying Tiger Line Flight 739: The U.S. military plane carrying 90 military personnel was headed for the Philippines but never showed up at its destination. No distress call by the pilot was received while U.S. military never found any trace of debris.

Flight 19 Mysteriously Disappeared Over Bermuda Triangle: The legend of Bermuda Triangle came alive after five US Navy aircraft disappeared there. The flights were carrying 14 airmen, including instructor Charles Taylor, and reportedly took off on good weather condition.
In hours, the crew got disoriented and reported that their compass stopped working. Even weirder is the fact that a search and rescue plane sent to look for them also disappeared.

Uruguayan Air Force Flight 571: in 1972, the Fairchild FH-227 carrying 45 passengers, including a rugby team, was headed to Santiago, Chile. The plane got crashed into the Andes Mountains in poor weather condition. It took 72 days to find the survivors and the victims who succumbed to the crash and an avalanche. The survivors were eating the corpses to stay alive until they were found more than two months after the plane was disappeared.

Yeah, what has happened there? Many speculations but no answer yet. That's really sad. All modern equitment and it doesn't help to find a missing airplane. It can't be taken from outside.

Yeah. The sabotage and hijack theory seems to be becoming a fact now due to plane steering off its flight plan. And whatever happened was so sudden that it didn't give people a chance to even call their loved ones  Unless of course their phones were taken away, seeing the relatives of the passengers mentioned that they called and the phones rang, but no one was picking up on the other end.

Those poor families, the hopelessness they must have felt is unimaginable. I wish all of them well

Apparently the plane has been found in the Indian Ocean

Looks like someone while cleaning a beach off of a remote island in the Indian Ocean called La Reunion found what looks like a part of an airplane wing. Aviation people think it's possible that this could be from a Boeing 777 of Malaysia Airline flight 370 since that's the only Boeing that has been missing and the number found on the wing part judging by pictures that were taken at the scene thinks it's from a Boeing.

Won't know until another 24 or 48 hours by French and Maylasia authorities

By now it has been confirmed that it's a part of this missing flight. The Australian want to continue searching around this area, around La Réunion.

So we should find out what actually happened to it then which'll be good for the families who lost relatives to know although it won't bring their loved ones back though.

No it hasn't the French haven't confirmed that it's a part of MH370. Malaysia's government is the the one that thinks its from it

I don't think it's gonna tell much if this is indeed the flap of MH 370.
