We've got one full preview page (no speech bubbles yet). It's easy to tell who's who. In my opinion (on that page) Piper and Henry look the most like themselves. Paige has a almost shoulder length wavy style in bright red. Phoebe makes me think of season three Phoebe, blonde. If nothing else the colors on the preview page are definitely sunny. There is also a pencil drawing of Cole that we got a cut out of from somewhere in issue 1.

Well said Pat Will be looking forward to the bonding, something which was missing last season due to the end of the world events.

patrickshand.tumblr.com/page/2This has got me too curious. I don't see Andy coming down soon. Perhaps Prue's happiness has nothing to do with finding a man or starting a family. And whatever she is now...should she even be starting a family? But Pat mentioned he has no interest in more kids or expanding family so what exactly does happiness for Prue means? And why is it a massive spoiler?

I'm going to guess that massive spoiler means that we'd have to find out why Patience wasn't part of the flashforwards in "Forever Charmed" that showed the sisters living sappily ever after, since they comics have been using that as canon.
So indeed to tell how, if anything, Prue finds happiness would mean telling the ending of the story, and much as I love spoilers, since I hate the sappily ever after that we got, I'm *very* happy to hear that he won't tell us the spoilers.
I'm also *VERY* happy that the family won't expand and neither will anyone's powers. If anything, I could hope that something happens so that EVERYONE ends up with no powers - except the original three, for the exact reasons that he pointed out...I'm interested in them as *sisters*, who need each other, not as gods!
And I'm also very curious to see how Prue bonds with her sisters.

As for the pictures, not all that nuts on the likenesses, (prefer the previous one), but if they keep it consistent so we know who's who, I won't complain too much. The ones all of them seem to have the most troubles with is Coop and Henry - it's too bad that The WB thought that both Phoebe and Paige had to find guys who were tall, dark and handsome. Remember the one artist/penciller when the only way we could tell who was who was the color of each guy's shirt?
Due to Phoebe's reaction, I'm going to guess the guy in blue is Coop, but if anyone told me that it was Henry, I'd believe them.
I do think I'd prefer these if they were simply novels as compared to graphic novels, because the stories have been great while the images...oh, well.

Henry is the one in blue and the other one has been identified only as someone we don't already know. Some people think he's one of the demons mentioned in the second issue solicitation.

Oh, most definitely awesome! I wonder if that will be a Halloween issue...it's been ages since All Halliwell's Eve...

The issue is called "The Perks of Being a Whitelighter" and here is the solicitation summary:
As a pair of ne'er-do-well demons attempt to activate a weapon that could mean the end of the Charmed Ones, Paige takes on a new charge. But what will she do when her latest witch in training turns into... well, a bunch of cats? Also, the Angel of Death is back, but not in a way anyone will expect... least of all the Angel himself.
Probably not a Halloween issue, but you are so right. It's been way too long since we've had a story about Halloween.

Well, I got my issue yesterday and can say I'm not that impressed yet. For all the artist talked about Paige, I thought she looked the least like Rose - Phoebe really looked like Alyssa and you can tell Piper is Piper due to the hair (no crooked eyebrow...), so Paige is the one who has short reddish hair. As usual, which guy is Coop and which guy is Henry is hard to tell, but Leo looked more like Brian than just about any of the other artists. Prue doesn't have any hints of Shannen the way the earlier artist did her and Cole, I guess kinda looks like Julian.
If you'd read this one before reading the others, you'd think the only ones with kids is Phoebe with Parker and Paige with Henry Jr - the only ones mentioned or shown - if ONLY those were the only kids - that would've been MORE than enough (kids were featured much too much for me in Season Nine), and just one of each!
Actually compared with the stories from the first season, this one was kinda dull - the old, "cute guy next door is really a demon who tries to kill the sisters and doesn't succeed". *yawn* The demon he becomes is kinda cool, since he's definitely not something that could be done during the series and an icky, gooey vanquish, but that's about it.
But it sounds like the whole thing is just a way of catching people up on what's been happening with the sisters and setting up what's going to happen - much like the first issue of Season Nine, like this one, one of my least-favorites of that season, and I ended up loving that season.
So I'm holding off my opinion on the new writer until next issue.

Just a quick add that I've got the next two issues and really don't like the direction they're taking it - and I think next issue is going to be even worse. In the second issue I was positive that they were going to try to match up Cole and Prue, but now it appears that they're going to try to match up Cole and Phoebe - an idea I don't like one single bit!
Art-wise is okay - you can tell who's supposed to be who and sometimes the images are very good, but not most of the time - I prefer some of the earlier artists. What I don't like is they're giving Piper red highlights in her hair and I can never remember Holly having those.
Best of all, so far no sign of any of the kids - they're all off at Cupid's Whatever where they're safe and out of sight. The first two "seasons" featured them much too much for me. I'd prefer if Piper had the boys, Phoebe had Ladybug, Paige had already adopted Henry Jr. and that was it!

Since I don't read the comics I may not be the best one to say anything about it, but if they do pair them up it may not be anything serious, maybe they'll just reminisce about their past, or whatever, and leave it at that. Since in the show Wyatt let slip out that in the future Phoebe and Coop are happy together, the writers can't really go against that, unless they want to add in some unnecessary drama with Phoebe and Cole. And besides, I don't think Phoebe has any feelings for him anymore, and she probably wouldn't want to go down that direction again (especially not if it meant hurting Coop, at least I hope not ).

Well, the comics are typical where what they insinuate is going to happen is not always what does happen.
I also think that due to what we saw during "Forever Charmed" (Coop taking Phoebe to the hospital while their two older daughters watch with Billie) that matching Phoebe and Cole would be horribly inconsistent, and the comics have been wonderful that way so far - I've yet to see anything that made me think "NO WAY!" or at least nothing that hopefully won't be fixed later on (hopefully saying that Piper's three will be heirs to the power is only because at that point, Phoebe only had one daughter), which is part of why I've been enjoying them so much. Except for the fact that the truce has already broken (although expecting demons to have honor always rubbed me as stupid - although nothing Kern's Elders did hit me as particularly smart, especially including Leo when he was one), if I have to accept "Forever Crap", I mean "Forever Piper", I mean "Forever Charmed" as real (which I don't...to me, it's still Piper's delusion as she and the other two die after the explosion in "Kill Billie, Vol. 2" leaving Victor and Leo to raise the boys - lucky boys!), I can accept the comics as "Season 9 and 10", even if each is too short to truly be an episode.

I'm thinking Coop is the one that won't survive after #5 alot of people dislike Coop cause he's boring and brings nothing to the show and it's not the Phoebe/Cole fans alone also #6 Will O Wisp Phoebe is the one on the cover with the summary talks about a tragic loss and one of the charmed ones takes a trip cross country and meets a Will O Wisp. Besides in the flash forward of Forever Charmed Wyatt didn't recognize Coop until Piper gave Coop his ring back and then he blurts it out loud so it's possible he's not around in the future. Plus we only see Piper and Leo old in the future not Paige and Henry or Phoebe and Coop, also Phoebe doesn't live in an apartment in the comics she has a house. The future isn't set in stone.
Walking Dead TV show doesn't always follow the cannon of the comic books cause some of the characters in the show are either not in the comics or they die early on plus the storylines have changed like Terminus was supposed to be a season whereas the show had it for a like 4 or 5 episodes and then how they get to Washington is gonna be different.
