To turn back into her former self without any kind of help from her sisters or any sort of vanquish? This is when she turned into a Nymph and on seeing the nymphs in trouble, she transformed back into her normal self.
Have Piper, Phoebe or even Prue done that before after turning into something else?

Er... Good question.
Banshee-Phoebe only turned back because she let her feelings out at Cole. Even then, Cole only showed up for that because Piper summoned him. Same goes for Mermaid-Phoebe who only turned back because she let her feelings out at Cole, but he was only there because Paige told him to go and see her.
Any time that Prue was turned into something (dog, man etc.), she only turned back to normal, because the spells had ran their course.
And Piper... Wendigo -> Prue and Phoebe vanquished Fallon. Fury -> Paige had Leo orb Piper to "what she's really angry at"/Prue's grave for a vent...
I really can't think of an instance with the other sisters that compares to Nymph-Paige turning back to normal.

If it wasn't for mermaid Phoebe, I would say since nymphs aren't demonic, it was easier for Paige to revert to her old self compared to her sisters. But I guess it might be her whitelighter side which helped her since she kept questioning the demon posing as their satyr while the nymphs skipped around cluelessly. Banshee-Phoebe only turned back because she let her feelings out at Cole. Even then, Cole only showed up for that because Piper summoned him. Same goes for Mermaid-Phoebe who only turned back because she let her feelings out at Cole, but he was only there because Paige told him to go and see her. Deja Vu?  Or writers running out of ideas? |

That must've done when they made Phoebe became Matai Hari through Richards karma spell and she only changed back once the Swarm demons were goanna kill Jason.

Or it could be a trend. Phoebe turns into something due to heartbreak and then turns back to normal due to being confronted by that heartbreak. Piper turns into something due to anger, but turns back due to venting said anger (e.g. Fury AND Valkyrie). Though I don't know if Valkyrie-Piper counts since she never really was one, she just decided to stay with them since the memories of Leo's abandonment was too painful to bare. |

Don't forget Goddess Piper also. Haven't rewatched S6 premiere in years. The whole two-parter made me cringe the first time I saw it. But other than that, yes there's definitely a trend. For Phoebe it's getting possessed or guys immediately falling for her. For Piper it's always Leo being snatched away.

xD Lol. If you go by the theory of Charmedverse Wendigos being attracted to those with lovesickness (and not with the AB neg bloodtype theory), then the fact that Piper may have been lovesick for Leo (the back-then "geographically undesirable" handyman) since he had had to leave a couple of episodes earlier after they had started some sort of a relationship: That definitely starts the Piper is turned into something when Leo is snatched away trend.
Although Fury-Piper is more of a "when Prue is snatched away" outlier in that trend.

Piper always turns into something when loved ones are snatched away. Ok so I remembered in Hyde School Reunion, Phoebe turns back from a teenager to....back to whatever kind of character she is in S6 It's when Rick becomes too threatening and hits Todd over the head. So I guess Paige isn't the only sister then.... |
