Holly wasn't fond of Wes and Drew?

Saw this at another site and found it interesting:

Drew and Wes are the actors who played Piper's 2 sons and at the comic con, she was asked if she would be in the reboot if she was asked. Her answer was if it's with Drew and Wes then no. I was like damn lol.

Here's my response:

I wonder if it was Drew and Wes she didn't care for or the fact that if they were in the reboot, it would be all about the next generation and not about the sisters. And since it's a reboot, I wonder if like me, she wants to play a Piper who isn't a mother, since that's when the show jumped the shark and Piper became a horrible person..

I think Holly probably didn't like the characters of Wyatt and Chris but more than likely I'm sure she got along with Drew and Wes. I gotta admit I don't like Wyatt or Chris they ruined the show for me, although Wyatt is so cute in Season 9!

Season 9? Do you mean the comics? I didn't care for how they were drawn - they looked too much alike and the big one had dark hair while the younger one had light hair. I thought Little Wyatt was adorable in S5-8 (as adorable as Little Chris was fugly in S7 - played by fugly twin girls!) - Little Wyatt was the only Halliwell I liked in S8. (I also liked a Matthews - Paige).

But I agree - they ruined it for me, too, especially Big Chris.

Yep, Chris sucked. I mean the comics by Zenescope and I meant Little Wyatt when I said he was cute. I loved him in the issue where he cast his first spell and made loads of Pipers.

And that was my least-favorite issue of the S9 comics... Different strokes for different folks...

I think what Holly meant was: If that reboot is starring Drew and Wes, it won't be happening, because Drew and Wes don't want to play Chris and Wyatt again. Therefore since it wouldn't ever happen, it wouldn't be possible for Holly to ever be a part of.

That's just how I interpreted it.

Yeah, but I don't know if that's necessarily true anymore. I know it used to be as far as Drew was concerned (he said so on his website), but with neither of them in a series or in a movie right now, work is work... If the writers made Wyatt and Chris older (Drew said he no longer wanted to play a boy...) then they might be interested.

But that would be a spin-off not a reboot and right now it's a reboot that they're talking about.

I'd also say that she meant a Spin-off with Wes and Drew and not the re-boot anyone is hearing about. Plus, we don't know how the relations were behind the scenes.

I never had a problem with the actors who played Wyatt and Chris. And the latter was a very interesting and ambiguous character to me.

I wonder if this was just misread. Maybe she meant, she didn't want to appear in a series focused on the next generation and not any beef with Drew or Wes? Maybe she is more interested in a reunion film without the next generation. We can't get a spin-off with Wyatt and Chris. Because neither the actors can play 20s anymore. Both of them are not that much younger than Holly, Alyssa etc. maybe under 10 years. That a new series with them and the actors, would be them playing Wyatt and Chris in their 30s, which means they too might have kids. Which means Piper, Phoebe and Paige are retired and now the age of Grams maybe. So I think a next generations spin-off is never EVER going to happen.

I hope they don't do any revivals of Charmed, spin-offs or reboots. Better off trying at a brand new project that is witch themed and seeing what happens.

I always felt that was more as a joke since she laughed right afterwards said "I can see Drew very mad at me about this"
