Ok so I have been wondering why Holly cut ties with Alyssa and no longer talks to her because they use to be so close. But I read Holly's Wikipedia and found this. "The following year, Combs signed a contract with Lifetime to produce and star in a series Mistresses, based on theBritish series of the same name.[12] However, that version of the show never made it to air. (ABC later made a version featuring Combs' former Charmed co-star Alyssa Milano.)" Could this be the reason?

Doubtful. It may have been the same concept, but we're talking about the visions of two different companies. I'd like to think Holly isn't that petty.

No, a year or two ago, Alyssa was on Watch What Happens Live hosted by Andy Cohen. Andy asked her about her Charmed experience in which Alyssa replied "I felt like I was in high school." She was of course talking about the alleged feud between her and Shannon. I guess Alyssa's comments didn't rub Holly the right way because she un-followed Alyssa on twitter and didn't reply back when Alyssa said something akin to "you were always a great friend." You can google it because I know I have some things wrong. Just before Alyssa attended a taping of WWHL, Shannon was on and asked by Andy to say 3 nice thing about Alyssa to which she replied "she's really pretty, she's really pretty, she's really pretty!"
I think you can watch them on youtube.

I tend to think they stopped being friends before that comment because if that were the case then why would Alyssa even bring that up after so many years had gone by and she and Holly had long gotten past that point. I can see her frustration with Shannen's comment but I find it a little petty that she included Holly in the spat seeing as they seemed to have put that behind them long ago.

A little bit before that, Holly said in an interview that she still speaks(probably a "hi" or a "hey, how are you doing?") to Alyssa because she sees her jogging everyday, on account of they live in the same neighborhood. So while they weren't friend friends, they were at least acquaintances/on speaking terms with each other. I don't see anything wrong with what Alyssa said. While I'm sure Holly tried to be cordial between the two, she was still bff with Doherty at the end of the day. I don't think Holly is wrong for being pissed at Alyssa's comment either. It's all in how one perceives a situation. Both have legitimate gripes with the way things went down imo. I think Doherty might be over it because not only did she compliment Alyssa's looks(although in a shady "I have nothing else nice to say about her" kind of way), she also kept mentioning during one of the convention Q&A's that Alyssa was really good at the scrying effect. When she was trying to get Holly to cosign, Holly just stayed quiet.
I bet Rose McGowan is glad she doesn't have to comment on such things since it all went down before she got there. Lucky her.
We shouldn't fault Shannon or Alyssa for commenting on a decades old feud. Andy Cohen is a troll of the Perez Hilton variety.

You're probably right. But I do remember that Rose is also a good friend of Shannen's.

Well, at the end of the day, Charmed was a job, just like working in an office is a job, or being a cleaner is a job, you suck it up and work with your colleagues because you don't have a choice, you can't pick who you work with, you just try to be as civil and friendly as you can whilst you're working to make life easier. Once the job is done it can go one of two ways, you make an effort to keep in touch, or you don't, the fact that they didn't tells me they both treated it as I described. Also the show ended almost ten years ago, so it's almost been a whole decade since they were probably in the same room, they grew apart. It happens.

To be honest, the more I read into it and follow the girls on Twitter, I find Shannen to come across as more unlikeable than Alyssa. Also, I think the fact Holly and Shannen were as close as close can be probably made Alyssa feel like an outsider, and when Shannen went I bet Holly held some sort of resentment towards her. Alyssa helped promote Holly and Shannen's new show etc. I don't think the blood is that bad between them all.

But Holly and Alyssa were super close after Shannen left.

Holly has come across as quite two-faced lately. She and Alyssa seemed like good friends when Shannen left Charmed and now that Shannen's let her jump on her dire show about drinking whiskey in Tennessee, she's suddenly her best friend again and throwing shade at Alyssa. The funny thing is both Alyssa and Shannen said they'd do a Charmed movie so they're clearly over it anyway. Alyssa was just answering one of Cohen's usual leading questions, Holly should've just let it go.
Add this to Rose getting all bitchy about the show when the reboot news came out, they all need to grow the hell up. For being on a show that was supposed to demonstrate the power of female friendship/sisterhood they're an embarrassment, quite frankly.

Had there any been an instance where the girls (apart from Shannen/Holly) have been papped together or anything? Also what did Rose say about the reboot Deano? You never really hear much of her opinions on the show and her co-stars as much as you hear about the Shannen/Holly/Alyssa feuds.

I don't know if they've been papped together, probably at some point at press things. Rose just made comments about how she wouldn't watch the reboot because she didn't even watch the show the first time around. She tried to backtrack and make out like she didn't have time to watch it because she was busy making it. That's fine, I mean how many actors watch their own series anyway? But she has such a 'I'm too good for this little show, I should be in Tarantino movies' attitude about her. I mean how many times has said/made reference to how she doesn't 'do long-running tv shows' over the years? All she was known for before Charmed was screwing Marilyn Manson and being in a crappy high-school horror (oh and being sliced by a garage door in Scream, let's not forget). That being said, Rose did seem to be the most professional of the cast. I'm no Alyssa lover but I can imagine it must've been a nightmare for her being up against Shannen and her sidekick sometimes.

It's all very "Mean Girls" isn't it? I feel like Rose's comments were fair, she didn't watch the show so why she have watched the reboot? She was just being honest. I felt bad for Alyssa when she made the comment about it feeling like High School, with Shannen and Holly strutting around the place I imagine it did feel a lot like high school, they were a clique and she probably felt like the outsider at times. And then when Alyssa got more airtime Shannen kicked up a fuss. And then Holly and Shannen complained on twitter and Alyssa felt like she had to comment that she didn't mean it the way it sounded, she did mean what she said, but didn't want to start any trouble so backtracked. Rose seems like a genuinely sarcastic, dry person to me, she says things before she thinks about them and doesn't realize how her comments could be misconstrued. I get the impression that Holly had no problem with Alyssa after Shannen left because she comes across as the "sidekick", migrating to whoever is the head of the pack at the time. To give herself an easy life, she did her best to get on with Alyssa despite any negative feelings she may have been feeling at the time. Rose coming onto set would have helped as well, a fresh personality and a new cast member to get to know and change the dynamic.

I did notice before in panels when Holly was asked about seeing other cast members, she'd kinda breeze past Alyssa. She was asked if she still saw the cast and she said that she sees Shannen lots, has lunch with Rose every so often and then just ended it with "And Alyssa lives down the street"... I just thought it was interesting that she said that and not that they actually meet up or anything. But then again, I saw Rose answer pretty much the same Q at a panel and she spoke for quite a while about Holly and when it came to Alyssa she just said something like "she's been on the down low since her baby". Again, kinda like Holly, seemed a little on the evasive side to me. But then maybe I'm reading too much into it.

Why don't we all be frank? Despite the rumors and comments of others, we really know don't know what went down between the three of them - Shannen, Holly and Alyssa. We don't know what any of them are really like. And I don't think a few comments on Twitter is a good judgment. All three of them - like every individual in existence - have their good and bad sides. There is nothing wrong that. And I don't see any need for the three actresses and other celebrities to be perfect individuals 24/7.
And why is it important that we should know ALL about them? I don't want to know about them. I have enough trouble dealing with family, friends and co-workers.

Well Holly was the closest to Shannen and they were friends long before the show. But really you cant expect someone to remain friends after leaving a job. Maybe they were just work friends, and simply parted ways once it ended. Theres nothing wrong with that, maybe Holly and Alyssa just had nothing in common, and remained friendly and supported each-other while on the show.

I have no idea exactly what happened between the two, but the comments Alyssa made about working on Charmed being "like high school" back in July 2013 seemed to really cut deep for Holly: Not long after, Holly unfollowed Alyssa on Twitter and the two haven't spoken since then.

I have nothing against Alyssa, but I'm not sure what she expected. Also, her intentions may have been sincere with that response to Holly, but boy does it come off patronizing? Maybe that's just me... Yeah, seeing a couple of interviews since, I actually think the comment upset Holly a lot more than it did Shannen. I guess she did work with Alyssa for 5 more years and they seemed like good friends despite Holly's close relationship with Shannen... so I could understand why she'd be peeved.

I think Holly felt like Alyssa's comment about Charmed being "like high school" was belittling a show that was extremely important to her. Remember that out of the main leads, Holly was the only one who came into the show as a relative unknown. Shannen had BH 90210, Alyssa had Who's the Boss and Melrose Place, and Rose had Scream, Jawbreaker, and Marilyn Manson, while Holly only had Picket Fences, a mostly-forgotten show that was never that popular to begin with. Charmed was literally her Big Break, so I think she was always more devoted to the show and took it more seriously. She knew very well that if it wasn't for Charmed, nobody would even know who she was. You could see this even when the show was on, with Holly always putting in a great performance no matter how bad the writing got or the mere fact that she was even willing to do a Season 9, while Alyssa and Rose couldn't even be bothered to show up for the last episode. And, nowadays, you still often see Holly at Charmed conventions, talking about the show and her character. For the record, I think Shannen was similarly devoted to the show, but for slightly different reasons--she saw it as an opportunity to repair her tarnished reputation from her 90210 days. Unfortunately, Shannen not only took her job very seriously, but was also very outspoken about it, which made for bad news with neanderthals like Kern and Spelling.
