I've been a lurker on here for years, and I still dont get why theres a season 5 board, and not one for every season.
It would be so much easier to have separate sections for every season. As when I'm in the general forum, alot of the time you find threads all based on certain seasons.
Just my opinion, as this charmed forum is the first I've come too which doesn't have sections for different seasons.

First of all, welcome, west73. I was a long time lurker here myself, before I finally decided to join last week.
To answer your question, the Admin that set this section up stopped being an active member of this board about three years ago, for reasons that are her own. So that is why this S5 section has been here much longer than it was meant to be.

I understand now that makes sense why its there. It sucks there wasn't more than one admin.

Actually there are two Admins. Jackie AKA Assassin Witch, is still here. However, she's not here as often as she should be, IMO.

Okay, I get you. There really should be more admins on here, since this forum is pretty active, or from what I can tell from being a lurker here for quite some time.

Oh, I agree completely. The ship needs its captain.
IMO, Aretha, AKA Simplypoo83 should resign. She hasn't been active here in years, she's clearly lost interest. Jackie has more or less been running this place solo since 2012.

Yeah, as Tim alluded to, this Season 5 subforum was part of a monthly celebration-type thing that went on way back in 2011. However, as seen in this old thread, the celebrations started to slow to a crawl after Season 4, and it ended up taking about 8 months for the Season 5 subforum to be created. And, this subforum's been up since then. One of the Admins, Aretha (SimplyPoo83) abandoned the site a few years ago, while the other, Jackie (Assassin Witch), never cared to continue changing the seasons for whatever reason and has now since disappeared, herself. The reason why people have started posting Season 6 threads in here is because we want to move on, but there's nobody here who can create a Season 6 subforum. |

I agree. Now, I know that Jackie may have Real Life getting in the way, I mean who doesn't. However, she should drop by here at least once a day. Failing that, she should appoint a Global Moderator (one step below Admin) to keep an eye on the Cafe if she can't.
