OOOO! Just noticed that you included Jonathan Frid. Are you also an original Dark Shadows fan? That was my first guilty pleasure - well, after "The Monkees".... Didn't like the movies - too gory - but LOVED the TV show and have it on DVD! Yes, I'm a very big fan! I haven't seen all the episodes (it's impossible to get them all on DVD for Europe), but love what I've seen. I haven't seen the movies either, only the version with Johnny Deep, which I absolutely hate: it was a real slap in the face for the fans. As far as I'm concerned, so are the movies, so count yourself lucky that you didn't see it. Did you ever get a chance to watch the reboot? What did you think of it? I liked the same actress playing both Vicki and Josette, but otherwise preferred the original. |

Not yet, but it is on my list of series to watch this summer, now that I've found a couple of streaming sites that work. I saw part of the first episode a couple of years ago, and quite liked it Cool! You'll have to let me know what you think. Ben Cross is no Jonathan Frid, but he does a good job. Best of all, they skip all of the stuff that happened before Barnabas showed up and get right into it. I like how wikipedia explains it.
