Does anybody else wish we had seen more of Wyatt's powers?

Honestly, no. Already seen too much of Wyatt powers when he was in the womb, when Piper tapped into them while she was pregnant with him and after he was born. There was always one issue or the other happening with him and he was always using his powers to solve them. Bored to death of kids show? Switch channel to a more violent show and conjure a dragon to life. Daddy abandonment issues? Bring action figures to life. Little brother getting all the attention? Orb him into a live volcano. Or just ship him off to Gramps :-p Mom and human Dad getting hurt by demons? Shrink them doll-size and trap them in a dollhouse. Doesn't matter if Dad bleeds to death or Mom starves to death in the dollhouse. As long as they're safe from death by demons. *Sigh*
And I don't want to get started on the blue bubble force field popping up practically every second in an episode. And then Excalibur. ..
What I would've liked to see were the consideration of consequences of these powers. When Wyatt conjured dragon people got hurt. Phoebe felt their pain through her empathy. Cleaners also warned of Wyatt being a threat of magical exposure, Gideon had legitimate concerns as well even though he went too far. Chris came back from future as well. But all of it was swept under the rug.
I fail to understand why Piper and Leo after everything that happened believe letting Wyatt keep a million powers inside him is the best idea even after he becomes an immediate danger when he turns evil. And he appears as sensitive to evil as a baby's skin to rash especially when he could be turned evil by a mere teddy bear.
While I like the concept of Wyatt turning evil and being so powerful that the only way to stop him was for Chris to travel back through time, I believe Wyatt didn't need to be super baby or have a super duper prophecy for it to happen.
He could've been born normal witch or even human, always weighed down by the whole 'only girls have powers in this family' or 'Halliwell line is supposed to be led by women' thing. That would've stayed consistent with the earlier seasons rather than feel like a jump the shark moment when Wyatt was born.
I could even see Elders denying Wyatt his whitelighter powers on one pretext or the other. They made exception with Paige because she was needed for the Power of Three, but they weren't so lenient with Leo and I can't imagine they would go easy on Wyatt either.
Living with a family in constant danger and not being able to defend himself or protect his loves ones could easily make him decide to collect powers, finding ways to use them which won't corrupt him. He could just lie and say maybe he's a late bloomer if caught using powers. And constantly tell himself he's doing it for the good of his family and greater good.
Of course all that could go to hell when his family is killed and he loses it and decides to take over everything. And then Chris goes back in time.
At end of the day, I would've liked to see more of Wyatt's character development rather than cutesy baby Wyatt's power development. Instead of the show taking the easy way out with the attitude of 'yeah so the baby is a boy and he's part of the family so just shut up and accept it', I would've liked the show to explore a bit why only girls would have powers and boys won't in the Halliwell line. Or even why Halliwells only had girls. Even Grams concern about Wyatt being a boy and growing up to be evil should've been taken into consideration instead of making her out to be a complete man-hating witch.
