First off let me say I am a huge fan of all things Xena. Loved it from beginning to end. I loved the finale how Xena finally got the redemption the whole series is based around NOW let me say how scared I am for the reboot that has been in the headlines lately. Almost all of the original actors would love to return for some type of reboot/revival but as far as I can tell NBC wants to take it in a different direction. I do understand that would be bring the characters to a new generation but Lucy and Renee are Xena and Gabrielle so I am interested to see how they pass the torch to a new set of actors. Any thoughts on how they should do it? *Fun Fact* Adrienne Wilkinson had a recurring role in season five and six of Xena and also had a recurring role as Phoebe's glamour in season eight of Charmed.

I am too excited for the reboot. Especially if Renee and Lucy return. I would love if Renee and Lucy are only in the first one or two episodes and they must time travel to one of their future lives and warn their future selves of something drastic then the rest of the show take places in the future time. They keep saying they want to pass the torch to younger actresses and I think that would be a great way to do that but still give the fans closure with the original actresses.
Time travel would be easy for them to it is something that was featured in a few episodes.

Were in the day and age of reboot and revivals. Only yesterday Gilmore Girls is returning. Honestly at this rate, I expect Buffy, Seinfeld or Friends to return.
Although a Xena reboot, I'm not so sure. I dont think on NBC it will last past a season. It might not even get a pilot order, and follow the way of the failed Woman Woman pilot.

I would rather just get a mini series or a tv movie rather than a few season series.

I would rather just get a mini series or a tv movie rather than a few season series. Those always seem to work better than full series. It's why when in 10-30 years when they reboot Charmed, I hope they do it via a mini-series or a TV movie rather than doing it with a full season.

I noticed the x-files revival is only 6 episodes as a mini-series.

I loved the show from start to finish and was really sad when it ended. It also brought me into the world of Hercules to but for me, Xena was one of the first and ONLY shows that had a strong female lead at the time of first airing with men being solely in the background.
As for the reboot, it's been talked about for years and while I would love to see it I'm also one of those people who think along the lines of "if it ain't broke don't 'fix' it" leave a good thing alone.
If they ARE going to reboot I would love to see them answering the questions that I feel they left out. I mean Hercules did a whole show on YOUNG Hercules which granted I never watched (I don't remember it ever being on TV here) so why not Xena? How and where did she learn her skills, who taught her etc. What was she like with Ares (by the way R.I.P to Kevin Smith) In saying that I would also have loved it if they had shown what Gabrielle's life would be like now. Xena having shaped a huge part of who she is but no longer being there.
Then there's also Eve, maybe they'd do something there instead of 'redoing' the whole show over again maybe tell her story which I think kind of reflects Xena's in truth.
Either way it will be interesting to see.
