Never really read any of the comics, I didn't realize the ebooks were only based on season 9. I have read the war on witches that I really enjoyed and felt like I could jump pretty much from tv series into that book without the comics to base on. I've read part one of the Let Gorgons be gorgons book but am unable to get book 2 being unavailable in Aus. Have checked it out as an option on my kindle reader on my phone just not sure whether I would have to reread or not? I could only find part one, unless it's the whole book? I couldn't really tell. Oh, I'm very glad to know that you felt like you could jump from Season 8 straight into "The War on Witches" - that would be good for others who don't want to (or can't) read the comics to know. I found the entire ebook of "Let Gorgons be Gorgons" (203 pages) for your Kindle here: www.amazon.com/Charmed-Let-Gorgons-Be-ebook/dp/B01AFZ2T6W/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1477851663&sr=8-1&keywords=let+gorgons+be+gorgons Hope that helps you (and others with Kindles) out. Ooh awesome! Thank you so much for that, will definitely come in handy. Shelfy

I wasn't even aware there were Charmed books. This has opened up a whole new world for me. Would you recommend the books or comics first? Is there an order they should be read in?

Books are untold stories we never saw on the show. So you can read them anytime and in any order. Comics are a continuation of the show after season 8 and have to be read in order. All issues of Season 9 and season 10 comic are fully out now. There are also ebooks after the events of season 9 comics. So if you want to read those, I believe you'll need to read season 9 first.

Would you say I'm better reading the books first then? How many are there?! I'm going to look at purchasing some!

Would you say I'm better reading the books first then? How many are there?! I'm going to look at purchasing some! 43 books, 44 comic issues and 2 ebooks set after the season 9 comics. Another ebook will be out in Jan 2017. Still awaiting news on another comic season which is also set for 2017. It's up to you which one you want to dig in and read first :-) Charmed books aren't available in my region, so I've only been able to read only two books, but I've thankfully read all the comics. Compared to the novels I've read, I enjoyed the comics more. More complicated storylines is one of the reasons. There's also Prue's return and its consequences on the sisters and the world. That is something unfortunately none of the books ever handled.

The books are my favorite so far, granted I have had little to do with the comics. Maybe try Book Depository? It's a website that caters for pretty much everywhere. I've had a fair bit of luck on there with quite a few books and I have seen some of the charmed books on there as well. Hope this helps.
