Charmed - Unpopular Opinions

I didn't like that part either and to be honest, I liked Phoebe more in the 2nd half of S8 because she was starting to overcome her psychological regression which I will write about once I finish my rewatch completely.

So, my mind has definitely changed, since I last posted, here. Though, I still hold some (not all) of the same opinions:

-Though, my mind may have changed, a little bit, I still hold unpopular opinions LOL
-Piper has always been anti-magic.
-I like Phoebe in ALL 8 seasons. Even, when I did dislike her, I NEVER felt like S3 Phoebe was any different, compared to her S1-S2 counterpart.
-Paige STILL saves S5-S8.
-I still don't like Prue and think she's really inconsistent.
-I still like Billie and still believe she deserves a better wrap up, than what we got.
-I still like Brody & Leslie
-I no longer dislike Dan and think he should've been paired up with Phoebe over Piper.
-I still don't care for Drake nor Coop. I don't see the Phoebe & Drake appeal...gonna add Dex to this list of not caring about, either.
-I still believe in OUTSIDE the sisters involvement instead of JUST being about the sisters, ALL of the time. That NEVER changed.
-Still not upset about Phoebe & Paige setting up Rick to die, in S6E17 "Hyde School Reunion". And, the ONLY no-lethal resolve should've been Piper to be there and FREEZE the situation. Anyone else's "solutions" OUTSIDE of that, is unconvincing. The writers PURPOSEFULLY wrote Piper OUT of the scene 'cause her power was the ONLY power to resolve (without lethal means) the situation, at hand.
-I still like Chris.
-I'm still not overly concerned about the lack of "sisterly moments" (whatever that means to each watcher), in the later seasons compared to earlier sisters.

-S6 deserves more love than it receives.
-S7 is overrated, even if I like it.
-S2 Piper SUCKS! Dunno why people like her.
-Phoebe & Dan > Piper & Dan
-Piper & Josh should've NEVER broken up and SHOULD'VE been the Triangle instead of Piper & Dan!
-I don't think Kern is the sole reason to blame EVERYTHING wrong with the show.

That's all I got, so far.

EDIT:
-S1E17 "That 70s Episode" is overrated.
-S2E2 "Morality Bites" is overrated. The more I watch it, the more I hate it.
-S2E14 "Pardon My Past" & S2E16 "Murphy's Luck" are overrated.
-S3E22 "All Hell Breaks Loose" is a garbage episode. No offense zachary ;P

100% agree, she wasn't chill with it from the beginning.

My unpopular opinions:

1. I like Forever Charmed - season 8 as a whole sucks, but the finale could have been way worse

2. I DO like Billie, a lot. I think she had a lot of potential - couldn't stand Christy, though.

3. I like Chris and love season 6 because of it.

4. I love mean and cranky Piper - it's part of her appeal for me.

5. I ADORE Paige. I haven't seen much hate for her here, but out in the real world, when I talk about her with people, most don't like her.

6. I actually quite enjoy the character development throughout the show - yes there is some clumsy writing and some not so well thought out circumstances to look past, but once I do - I definitely see a lot of why the sisters became the way they were throughout the show.

7. I don't have too much criticism for the show - NOT to say there isn't warranted criticism! I just personally don't have a lot because I don't think about it much. I'm an "enjoy now, don't think too deeply about it" kind of person

8. I wish Kit was in it way more

9. I wish Paige would have been a lesbian

10. I wish Piper hadn't had kids

I meant to bump this up, when the New Year started.

It's "tradition", for me, to start up threads like these, when a New Year begins. To get more "fresh" opinions lol "out with the old and in with the new" kind of thing.

My unpopular opinions have not changed.

Love this!

Some of mine:
- Piper should have died in S3, Prue, Phoebe and Paige would have made a much bette dynamic. I would have liked to see how Prue and Paige worked together.
- I also think Paige saves S4-8 though and the show would have ended much earlier without her.
- Season 5 is my favourite season and I stand by this
- Season 8 is my least favourite season, but I like Billy and feel she could have had a much better storyline and the whole season could have been much better. I do not like Christy or her storyline (although I don't think this is that unpopular!)
- I love Cole in ALL seasons, I loved his relationship with Phoebe and think Cole was her one true love. I didn't hate any of their storyline tbh, and I liked Season 5 Cole and how desperate he became.
- Coop was fine, but I don't think it was who Phoebe should have ended up with, I don't think she should have ended up with anyone and could have just been the career focused aunt. Coop was thrown in so last minute just so she ended up with someone, but it was super unnecessary imo.
- I liked Henry and thought him and Paige worked well together, I also liked that he was mortal.
- I mostly liked Piper and Leo, I enjoyed the ultimate love story and that it continued throughout all 8 seasons. They irritated me at certain parts and I think Leo could have had more backbone and personality, he mostly bowed down to Piper.
