Wouldn't it be called a "spin-off", though? Star Trek: Discovery is not exactly a Star Trek reboot but a spin-off. But, semantics  Anyhoot, Billie is not a Charmed One. I've been thinking of a spin-off called "Jenkins" or something. About her family-line and what-not. IK nobody cares about her nor her story, but I do like her character. But, if not Billie, we can get a generation line of Aviva or the Gypsy clan. I think a spin-off of the Gypsy clan (like a prequel) series. I think that would be cool. |

From wikipedia Though the Romani population in the United States has largely assimilated into American society, the largest concentrations are in Southern California, the Pacific Northwest, Texas and the Northeast as well as in cities such as Chicago and St. Louis. Seattle or Texas would be kind of cool. And it would be cool to be different from celtic witchcraft, and sisterhood. It would be cool to have a brother dynamic to it. |

another thought could be the students of magic school. They NOT being the charmed ones but still being part of that world facing what the charmed ones did but not having the same powers. I mean, how would a non charmed one vanquish someone like the source? Could it even be done or would it be a simple wipe out?
It also does kind of fall into the same lines of what if Paige had never met her sisters but would/could it be that a full class of students might form a NEW sort of charmed power?
I also always wondered about the Whitelighters, they were a HUGE part of the show but we only ever saw glimpses maybe something diving deeper into that world could be interesting.
I think the idea I'm trying to get across is a world without the "charmed one" but someone taking on the same magical issues that they did. Would it be a comind power or a single witch? Like Paige going through the training to one day become all powerful? The Source of all good so to speak though knowing we all have that darker side.

Well, with the general resistance to the concept of whitelighters that I’ve noticed from some on this board, I’m not sure a reboot/spin-off/whatever that had them as a central part of the show would be well-recieved. However, if it was, I’ve stated elsewhere on this board that one thing I wished the original Charmed did was actually show some of the offspring that Alec and other darklighters like him were trying to create. (Not only were they never shown, the entire idea was never mentioned again after that one episode.) So many potential story ideas there. (Also, I’m pretty sure that any good guy character aside from the Charmed Ones taking on the Source would be hilariously one-sided.) |

In fan fic's past, I did play a character that was the daughter of the Source and a good powerful witch. Almost like the idea of offspring though we DID have the storyline of Cole and Phoebe's child in the series. I wondered if someone like that COULD actually take on the Source being half his or if he'd be able to control them since (in a manner of speaking) he controlled them all. Then comes the whole good aginst evil thing/human side against demon side and which one would win I sort of see it either ending up like Phoebe going back and forth all the time or Cole going mad from the two warring sides.
In saying that, it could have been interesting to see where and how Phoebe's dark past changed her into the Phoebe we know now. She did have that darker streek in her after all more so than any of her sisters. If it weren't for them I think her story would have been very different.

I would have loved to see the cousins life in the 20s. It's one of my dream movie or mini-series ideas for Charmed, I would have loved to see how they lived? What happened between them in order for Russell to join Anton the Warlock? How they interacted with each-other? What made them decide to move into the Manor? And everything else in between.
