Which episodes is Kit the cat in? I don't remember the "Cat House" episode from season 5 very much but going to watch it soon. Nothing bad happens to Kit in that one right?

I think they realized she was a (ugh. WORDS. WHERE ARE YOU). FAMILIAR. And that she wasn't just a cat. But it seemed like Kit just disappeared and then reappeared in Cat House? I didn't pay all that much attention after S1.

Kit served the original P3 until the beginning of season four when she was awarded for her service by being made human. Paige mentioned at one point that Kit had watched over her as well.

I thought the original reason Kit disappeared after season 3 was the cat died in real life. Then fans complained where she went, thats how it ended up in Cat House to close that story with her. I doubt Kern had that in mind since the end of season 3.
However I felt the story with Kit was good during season 1. And they hinted she was a familiar but they sorted left it for too long.
Saying she guided new witches, once the charmed ones were reconstituted. Kit wasnt needed anymore. Her job was done. That line made no sense, as if she was waiting till Prue or someone died in order for Paige to join the power of three.
Or she ran away when Prue died.

Much as I like "Cat House", my response to the reveal that she was a familiar was basically: "Well duh!"
She turned up wearing a triquetra collar just as they get their powers, how did it take them almost half a decade to work that out? It seemed like very basic witch mythology that probably should have been dealt with a lot earlier in the series.
I suppose having her leave to watch Paige was a decent enough reason, although I remember back in Charmed Again, I actually thought poor Oscar might have been Paige's familiar; just looking at how he reacted to The Source.

And "sent to watch over you" is such a flimsy purpose for a character anyway. What exactly did Kit do to help during all those demon attacks? And while we're on the topic, how many "guardians" do witches need anyway: Whitelighters, Familiars, Guardian Angels etc.

They need all the help they can get. Also Kit brought Christopher to their door (owl man, not secret son). She hissed at Rodriguez which led to him going red-eyed and Andy noticing, so running in after him...  Andy died. Okay, that second one's not a good example. She didn't do much. |

She was also in "Look Who's Barking" which was second to last episode of Season 3. And the last one she was in actually before the cat died in real life which I was surprised that they didn't just get another similar looking cat to continue playing her but then as you say if the P03 no longer needed her then that didn't matter obviously. |

You can spoil me. I want to know if anything bad happens to Kit because then I wouldn't want to see it. Would someone just tell me what episode we see her last and why we don't see her anymore please?

She was also in "Look Who's Barking" which was second to last episode of Season 3. Paige said she had a cat Kit-alike wondering about her house. And at 5x18 the lady that played the human form of kit said that they didnt really need her anymore after the 3rd year. Coincidence ? |
