Does this annoy you? Every time I see a casual fan or a non fan referencing Shannen Doherty, they always refer her to Shannon. Idk it just always bugs me, in the opening credits it says Shannen Doherty. Why do people still call her Shannon?

Probably because that is how "Shannon" is usually spelt.
Still, "Shannen" is her name and people should respect that.

I know it's an honest mistake sometimes, but it also bugs me, especially on youtube videos.

I've always spelt 'Shannen' as just that 'Shannen' because that's how it's named and written although I've not seen it pronounced the other way yet.

Okay, this might be educational.
I too have miss spelled her name as the more common spelling is with an (o) not and (e). She has Irish blood and in Ireland it is spelled with an (o). The meaning of the name in Ireland is:
From the name of the River Shannon, the longest river in Ireland, called Abha na tSionainn in Irish. It is associated with the goddess Sionann and is sometimes said to be named for her. However it is more likely the goddess was named after the river, which may be related to Old Irish sen "old, ancient". As a given name, it first became common in America after the 1940s.

I think for most people the problem is the stupid autocorrect that thinks you're spelling it wrong. I know I had to add both Shannen and Shannen's to my laptop's dictionary before it would print it properly. SO frustrating! Now Pheobe vs Phoebe - that's just from people who learned how to spell the Hookt on Fonix method, which I find more frustrating. Phoebe is a Greek name and it's definitely spelled that way.

I learned to spell Phoebe watching Magic School Bus. I can't remember what lead to that, but after whatever it was I never had trouble with the name, again. And since I don't think I had heard of the name before that, I didn't have trouble with it before watching Magic School Bus.
As the the name Shannen. I grew up with a Shannon, but I also grew up with my name. Due to lots of people either mispronouncing or misspelling my name (or both), I am very sensitive toward the spelling and pronunciation of other people's names. I had the added interest at the time of first hearing of Shannen of being on the old Charmed Sons board with Twin_Swords (whose name is Shannon), so the difference in spelling was pointed out enough that I took notice and haven't really had issues with it.

I'm guessing that people tended to end your name with an "e", instead of the "a".
I don't understand that. Your name is not a hard one to remember, at least it isn't to me.

That mistake has happened (by someone who knew the proper German spelling of my name), but only once or twice. No, the mistake they usually make is changing the "e" into something that makes them think "a". So "a", "ai," or "ay" for the most part. My cousin once dropped the "n," but that one at least I can be sure was a total fluke. Mispronunciation is more common, because they look at my name and expect the "e" to sound like an "e" and it doesn't. It sounds like an "a" saying its name.

It can be annoying, but sometimes is just a mistake or even autocorrection. Just yesterday I saw Sarah Michelle Gellar on Instagram commenting Shannon instead of Shannen. I don't think that after so many years of knowing each other, she doesn't know her name. It was probably just a mistake

I just saw Sarah Michelle Gellar on "Home and Family" and she said some heart warming things about Shannen. She remarked that you could call her at 3am with a problem and she was there for you. If you were in trouble or needed money, no problem. She feels that if she can help just one person by speaking out about her illness, it's worth it. Way to go girl.

Indeed Shadowcat. Nice to hear Shannen's willing to be there for people and help out when they need it.
