I've decided to post the episodes on here, fanfiction.net, and the Wiki so anyone can read it if they want. So without further ado...here's my season 4.
Charmed Again 4.01
INT- HALLIWELL MANOR- PIPER’S BEDROOM- MORNING. PIPER HALLIWELL rocks herself on her bed as she covers her face with her hands. As she sobs, a KNOCK goes on her door.
Piper looks up only to first notice a picture of her, Prue, and Phoebe sat on her dresser when they were all standing in front of the manor.
Another KNOCK goes on the door.
Piper: Come in!
The door slowly opens and PRUE HALLIWELL, wearing a black blouse and black pajamas, walks in with dried up tears on her face.
Prue: Piper…Leo said that the Elders want us to know…that they’re sorry for our loss…and the loss of the Charmed Ones.
Piper looks at Prue in disbelief who nods her head and rolls her eyes in equal disbelief.
Prue: I know, right? But Leo just wanted us to know.
Piper: Tell Leo…to tell the Elders…that they can just screw themselves and no sorry can bring Phoebe back!
Prue walks over to Piper and sits down next to her. She pulls her younger sister into her arms as she cries into her chest.
Piper: Why?! Why did this have to happen?!
INT- HALLIWELL MANOR- ATTIC- MORNING. The Book of Shadows is sitting on the altar. The triquetra suddenly glows and the book opens up. It starts turning pages until it lands on the spell to bring back a lost witch.
INT- SOUTH BAY SOCIAL SERVICES- MORNING. A candle is waving in its place as it sits above the desk of PAIGE MATTHEWS, a young woman with shoulder-length dark brown hair, who is sitting down and typing on her computer.
Paige (mutters): Okay…I can do this. I am Paige Matthews and I can do this.
Her friend, GLEN BELLAND, walks up behind her and lowers his lips towards her ear.
Glen: You can do this.
Paige slightly jumps as she turns around to see her friend with a smirk on his face.
Paige: Glen! You scared the crap out of me.
Glen: I’m sorry. I just want you to know that you have what it takes to convince Mr. Cowan on interfering in that child’s life.
Paige: Well, I hope I---
She turns her head slightly just in time to see the candle suddenly blow out.
Paige: Whoa.
Glen: Uh…what’s wrong?
Paige: It’s just my candle blew out.
Glen smirks at her as he nods his head.
Glen: It was probably just the air conditioning, which really makes me want to wear a coat here.
Paige looks at the candle suspiciously.
Paige: Yeah…
Glen: Anyways, good luck with Mr. Cowan. I gotta go back to my desk.
He walks away, leaving Paige still staring at her blown-out candle. Just as she turns around to stand up, a newspaper drops out of thin air and onto her desk.
She quickly turns around and stares at it in complete disbelief as it’s on the obituary section. She slowly picks up the newspaper and begins reading the first person on it which reads: Phoebe Halliwell, Beloved Sister.
Paige gasps in shock as she continues reading Phoebe’s obituary.
Glen: Paige!
Paige turns around to see Glen pointing to Mr. Cowan’s open office door.
Glen: It’s your turn!
Paige looks at the open door and then back at the newspaper. She quickly picks up her purse off her desk and rushes towards the front door of the building. Glen sees her and watches her in confusion.
Glen: Paige! Where are you going?
INT- HALLIWELL MANOR- LIVING ROOM- MORNING. VICTOR BENNETT, wearing a suit, stares at a picture of Phoebe as a little girl in sadness. Prue, wearing a black dress, walks in to see her father in sadness.
Prue: Dad…
Victor sets the picture down on the coffee table and turns around to look at his daughter.
Victor: Prue…are you okay?
He stands up and moves over to her. He hugs her as she hugs him back.
Prue: Um, it’s Piper I’m worried about. She hasn’t come down yet.
Victor: I can’t believe that any of this is even happening.
Leo walks into the room from the kitchen and nods his head at the two.
Leo: Is she still in her room?
Prue: Yeah.
Victor: Where is Cole? You said Phoebe was with him.
Leo: Well, the Elders think the Source killed him as well.
Prue: Not surprised. Cole and Phoebe loved each other. I can’t see one of them not sacrificing their life for the other.
Victor: Why did this have to happen?
Prue: It’s my fault.
Leo: Prue, you can’t blame yourself.
Prue: Yes, I can. I mean, had I not let us go outside and fight Shax in the daylight, we would’ve never been exposed, right? Time wouldn’t have been reset, and…Phoebe would still be here.
Victor: It’s going to be okay, Prue.
Prue: Leo, can you go check on Piper, please?
Leo: Yeah, I’ll go talk to her.
He walks up the stairs.
INT- HALLIWELL MANOR- PIPER and LEO’S BEDROOM- MORNING. Piper's partially dressed, sitting in front of the mirror, lost in her thoughts, absentmindedly brushing her hair. A beat later, Leo eases open the door and enters.
Leo: Piper?
She doesn't react, just keeps brushing as Leo approaches her.
Leo: Honey, we have to go.
Piper: I don't want to go.
Leo: Why not?
Leo kneels down beside her.
Piper: Because if I go, that'll mean that Phoebe's really not coming back, and I don't think I can handle that.
Leo: We can handle it together.
Piper shakes her head.
Piper: She's been there my whole life. I've always had a baby sister. And I don't know how to live without one.
Leo: Piper…
He goes to touch her, but she pulls away.
Piper: Why didn't you save her?
Leo: I tried. I went back to the Underworld, but by the time I got there---
Piper: She was already gone. Why didn't they let you save her, too?
Leo: The Elders? They couldn't. They don't have that kind of power.
Piper: Then what the hell good are they?
She gets up, walks away from him, and finds a Kleenex. Leo follows behind her.
Leo: It's okay to be angry…
Piper: I'm not angry. I am pissed off! Don't you understand? You saved the wrong sister! You saved me because I'm your damn wife, and you should've saved Phoebe! She was my baby sister and she didn’t deserve to be… Because she… you should…
She loses it again, overcome with grief. Leo moves up behind her and this time, she lets him hold her.
Piper: Why do they put us through so much for it to end this way?
INT- UNDERWORLD- SOURCE’S LAIR. A red cloaked figure with devilish wings flames in front of a shadowy figure known as the Oracle.
Oracle: May I be seen?
The Source: Have you found Belthazor?
Oracle: No, something else...
He considers that for a beat, then turns and waves his clawed hand at The Oracle.
A creepy but sexy young woman, materializes from the depths, stroking her ever-present crystal ball.
Oracle: Something more important, perhaps.
The Source: Nothing is more important.
Oracle: What about the doctor you sent your assassin after?
The Source: He is dead. Like I said…nothing is more important.
Oracle: And not even The Charmed Ones?
The Source: The Charmed Ones are dead.
Oracle: Not all of them.
The Source: One gone ends the threat. Of course, if you had foreseen that a white-lighter was going to save the other two witches, they'd all be gone. Be grateful I don't turn you into a snake.
Oracle: Yes, but then how would you see into the future without me?
The Source: Without the Charmed Ones to worry about anymore, I may not need to.
Oracle: Mmm. Well, in that case, you'd better keep me around a little while longer.
The Source turns back to the Oracle as she looks into her crystal ball, sees whips of smoke forming inside.
The Source: What do you see?
Oracle: I see - a witch's call on the spirit winds. I see... another.
INT- SAN FRANCISCO- MAUSOLEUM. A beautiful ivory-colored coffin sits on a pedestal amongst the flowers. An ivory-dressed, Wiccan Priestess stands before a blue silk covered altar table, which is adorned with a ceremonial chalice. A tied, silver cord lays before the chalice, three lit candles surround it, symbolizing birth, death, and the rebirth. To the unaware mourners, however, the service comes across a part traditional, part New Age. Prue, Piper, Leo, Darryl, and Victor are seated close to the priestess. Prue simply stares at the casket as Piper dabs at her eyes. The funeral program, which bares the symbol of the triquetra above the name, read: "PHOEBE HALLIWELL, 1975-2001; "Forever in our Hearts." Paige sits in the farthest of the mourners, crying as much as the other mourners.
Priestess: That which belongs to fellowship and love. That which belongs to the circle, remains with us. The wheel turns. As life is a day, so our sister has passed into night. Nothing is final, and we who remain behind know that one day, we will once again share the bread and wine with our sister. O' blessed spirit, we bid you farewell, for you await a new destiny.
She unties the silver cord and gently lays it into the chalice. She blows out the candles.
INT- HALLIWELL MANOR- LIVING ROOM- AFTERNOON. Mourners walk around and talk with other mourners as they are all in grief about Phoebe. Paige also looks around herself in wonder and familiarity.
Just as she looks up at the stairs, she bumps into Prue, which makes Paige shake and gasp in shock.
Paige: Oh! I’m sorry!
Prue: It’s okay. You didn’t mean to.
Paige: Um, I’m sorry for your loss.
Prue: Thanks.
Paige: You’re welcome.
Prue studies Paige and begins eyeing her as she seems familiar.
Prue: Have we met before?
Paige: No…I mean, I don’t think so. I’ve seen you before at your sister’s club…Piper, isn’t it?
Prue: Yeah. Did you know Phoebe?
Paige nods her head and slightly smiles.
Paige: We had psychology class together. But after I got my degree, I never saw her again.
Prue: Phoebe loved psychology…she had a passion for it.
Paige: Yeah, she definitely did. She was always trying to get the best grade in class.
Prue looks at her in confusion and disbelief.
Prue: Really?
Paige: Yeah, she was so competitive and the class brain. I always wanted to be as smart as her.
Prue: Wow…
Paige: What?
Prue: Uh, it’s nothing.
Leo walks up to them and nods his head at Paige.
Paige: Hi. Uh, I’ll just be going. Again…I’m sorry for your loss.
Prue: Thank you.
Leo: Thank you.
Paige walks away from them, leaving Prue watching her in puzzlement which Leo notices.
Leo: What’s wrong, Prue?
Prue: That girl…she…she seems so familiar.
Leo: Have you or Piper seen her before?
Prue: No, but she said she’s seen us before at P3…along with Phoebe.
Leo: Well, that makes sense seeing as you three go to P3 a lot.
Prue: Yeah…I guess.
Leo: Um, is Piper upstairs?
Prue: Yeah.
Leo begins to step towards the stairs, but Prue puts her hand out at him, halting him.
Prue: Don’t. Piper is probably asleep. Trust me; you don’t want to wake her.
Leo: You’re right.
Prue: Hey. Can you stay down here? I’m not feeling too good myself.
Leo: Yeah.
Just at the same time, JUSTIN HARPER, wearing a suit, walks up to them with a saddened face.
Justin: Hey.
Prue gazes at him in shock and disbelief.
Prue: Justin…
Leo: I’ll leave you two to talk in private.
Leo walks away, leaving Prue and Justin staring at each other.
Justin: I’m sorry for your loss. I can’t believe Phoebe’s really gone.
Prue: Yeah. I can’t believe it myself.
Justin: How is Piper?
Prue: Uh…she’s hanging in here.
Justin: And you? How are you holding up?
Prue: Uh…actually I’m a little tired.
Justin: Oh…well, go get some rest, Prue. Do you need me to do anything?
Prue: I think Leo has got everything.
Justin: Okay. Well, it was nice seeing you again and again…I’m sorry.
Prue nods her head at him.
Prue: Thank you.
Just as Prue turns to walk up the stairs, Darryl and another inspector, CORTEZ, walks up to them.
Darryl: Prue. I’m sorry about this, but Inspector Cortez insisted I introduce him to you today.
Cortez: I just wanted you to know that I’m sorry for your loss.
Prue sighs in disbelief.
Prue: Hello.
Darryl: Where’s Piper?
Prue: Upstairs. She’s not feeling well.
Cortez: Understandable. I lost a sister once myself, I know how hard it is. We're going to find the monster that did this to your sister, Ms. Halliwell. I promise you this.
Prue and Darryl exchange a look which Cortez notices.
Cortez: Something I said?
Prue: No, uh, it's just the word, monster.
Cortez: Well that's what he was. How else do you describe somebody so vicious? We have to stop before he strikes again.
Prue: I couldn't agree more. Excuse me, Inspector…
She begins walking back up the stairs, but Cortez stops her.
Cortez: I know what a difficult time this is for you and your sister, Ms. Halliwell, but we really need to talk.
Justin: Maybe later, but not now.
Victor walks up to them as well.
Victor: I agree. Not now.
Cortez: Of course. Sorry.
He holds Prue’s look for an uncomfortable beat, then allows her to go up the stairs. Darryl, concerned, looks at Cortez.
INT- HALLIWELL MANOR- ATTIC- AFTERNOON. Piper is angrily placing five lit candles in a lose circle on the floor in front of the Book of Shadows.
Piper: I'm a witch, damn it. I've summoned people before and I'm gonna summon Phoebe now whether you like it or not! No more games, no more playing the good witch.
She goes to the Book, which is opened to the spell.
Piper: I want to talk to my sister. I need to talk to my sister. At the very least, you owe me that.
Piper takes a deep breath, then glares at the Book.
Piper: Here these words. Hear my cry, spirit from the other side. Come to me, I summon thee. Cross now the Great Divide.
Inside the circle, white magical lights, ever-so-slowly begin to appear.
Piper looks up, her anger replaced by hopeful wonder as she steps closer, anticipating Phoebe’s appearance, but is, instead, surprised to see the ghost of Grams.
Piper: Grams?
Grams: Hello, my darling. How are you?
Piper: How am I? Are you kidding? Do you guys not get the news up there?
Grams: I meant, how are you holding up?
Piper: Not very well. I'm a little lost. Why didn't you come before? When I called after…
Grams: I couldn't, Piper. I was… busy.
Piper: You were busy?
Grams: I was with Phoebe.
Piper: Oh. Of course you were. Right. Well, that makes sense. Is she okay?
Grams: Your mother and I are helping her through this.
Piper: But how is she?
Grams: I'm not allowed to tell you now… just like you're not allowed to see her, at least not for a while anyway.
Piper: But, why?
Grams: Because seeing Phoebe right now, speaking to her, keeps her alive for you. Which keeps you from being able to move on with your life, to continue with your destiny.
Piper: What destiny? Okay. It's over. It's done. Phoebe is gone. And I…
Grams: I know, sweetie. I know… but if there's one thing you've learned over the last three years, it's that there's a reason for everything… which means there's a reason for this, too. You're destiny still awaits. blessed be.
She disappears in the same swirl of white lights that brought her to Piper.
INT- UNDERWORLD- THE SOURCE’S LAIR. The Source materializes in a fiery display.
The Source: Anything?
The Oracle, still coiled around her smoke-filled crystal ball, looks up from it.
The Oracle confidently waves her hand over the crystal ball.
Oracle: Her future's becoming much clearer. And, it appears, short-lived…
The crystal ball shows swirling smoke inside as it begins to form into the image of a dancing woman, Paige.
INT- SAN FRANCISCO- P3- NIGHT. Paige is dancing with her boyfriend, Shane. The club is hopping while a hot band lights up the place. The song ends, the crowd cheers, then Paige and Shane drifts over to their table and sit. Paige looks distracted, distant.
Shane: You all right?
Paige: Me? Yeah, why?
Shane: Well, you seem… a little quieter than usual. That's all.
Paige: What makes you think I'm not like this all of the time.
Shane: Well, we've been dating for a month now. So, I think I'd know.
She sees a passing waitress.
Shane: Uh, hey, can we get a couple of long necks?
Waitress: Sure.
Paige: Make mine a mineral water, please?
Waitress: Mm-mmm.
Paige: Thanks.
The waitress notes the order and leaves.
Paige: So much for how well you know me cowboy. I don't drink. I used to have kind of a problem during liquids… lot of problems, actually, but that's all behind me.
Shane: Do you want to go someplace else, or…?
Paige: No, no, no, I like it here. Gosh. I should. I've been coming to P3 for the last year or so, on and off. I mean, ever since that…
Shane: Ever since what?
Paige: Oh, never mind. It's boring.
He smirks at her, which makes her slightly giggle.
Paige: Alright, but if I tell you all about Paige and you use it against me, I will get out my voodoo doll and make you sorry you're a man.
He waves his hands in defense with a smirk.
Paige: So, my sad story is that I'm adopted, only it's not so sad because I loved my parents, God rest. So after they died, I went searching for my birth mother, hoping to get some answers.
She begins to doodle on a napkin.
Paige: I went to the police, found the church I got dumped at… I checked around. I figured she must've lived near here, you know? They even thought I might've been… related to the Halliwell sisters for a minute, but their Mom died a long time ago, so I gave up on that.
Shane: Well, did you ever meet the sisters, ask them about it or…
Paige: Yeah. I knew one of them from college. I had class with her. But I didn’t bother asking them about me. "Hi. I think your Mom might've abandoned me at birth. What's for dinner?" No. I don't think so.
The waitress brings them their drinks, allowing Paige to lean back, try to end this painful topic. Shane, though, cares, wants to know more.
Waitress: Here you are.
Paige: Thanks.
Waitress: You're welcome
Shane: So that, that still doesn't explain why you keep coming here.
Paige: Well, the sister I met in college was the one that died and one of the other sisters… owns it, so… I don't know. I guess I just kind of feel - connected somehow. Besides the fact that I knew Phoebe, that's why I went to the funeral today. I just felt like I had to…Okay. I sound certifiably insane. Good job, Paige. Way a go.
Shane, touched, shuts her up by leaning in and giving her a kiss. She responds, then pulls back slightly, allowing her vulnerability to show.
Paige: Don't hurt me, okay? I can't handle anymore right now.
His answer is another kiss, deeper, meaningful. She accepts it, returns the passion. They part, stare into each other's eyes. Hers are ablaze.
Paige: Come on. I have something to show you.
EXT- SAN FRANCISCO- SKYSCRAPER BUILDING- HELIPAD- NIGHT. Paige leads a reluctant Shane to the center of the heli-pad.
Shane: Aren't you afraid that we're going to get caught?
Paige: I like an element of danger.
She lets go of his hand, then spins around, arms out wide, looking up at the stars, free.
Paige: Oh. Look at the stars. They're so beautiful! They make me feel... free.
She takes off her jacket slightly and he begins kissing her.
A moving tornado materializes out of thin air and races toward the unsuspecting lovers. The demon, Shax, appears and fires a concussive blast.
Paige opens her eyes at the last second and sees it over Shane's shoulder.
Paige: Shane!!
The blast makes Shane go flying backwards, knocking himself out and causing Paige to scream.
Paige turns the other way and runs to the roof access door.
Shax quickly turns back into a tornado and follows.
EXT- SKYSCRAPER BUILDING- PARKING LOT- NIGHT. Prue is driving down the street in her jeep. The back door to the skyscraper building opens and Paige rushes out towards her car.
Prue presses the brakes on her car, getting her car to a halt. Paige struggles to unlock her car just as Prue gets out of her jeep.
Prue: Hey!
Paige turns around in shock, just as the moving tornado flies in front of Paige.
Prue: Oh no!
Prue rushes towards Paige, just as the tornado dies down and Shax appears.
Prue: Run!
Shax throws a concussive blast towards Paige. Just as it is about to hit her, she orbs out quickly. The blast hits a wall behind her, leaving a scorch mark just as Paige orbs back in.
Prue, Paige, and Shax all look confused at the sight of Paige orbing.
Just as Prue reaches Paige, Shax throws a concussive blast towards them. Prue pushes them both out of the way out of the blast and it hits another wall, leaving another scorch mark.
Prue: Get outta here!
Paige runs away, just as Shax begins to throw another blast. Shax throws a blast at Prue, throwing her to Paige’s car with a shriek. She breaks the driver’s side window and falls to the ground.
Paige ducks behind a corner and peeks around the corner to see Shax transform back into a tornado and disappears in the wind. She runs back towards Prue in shock and fear.
Paige: Oh god!
She reaches Prue and bends down. She sees that Prue is bleeding out of her shoulder and she gasps in shock.
Paige quickly pulls out her phone and dials 911. As soon as the operator answers, she starts breathing heavily.
Paige: Hello! I need an ambulance to Seventh Street! Me and this other woman have been attacked by…this thing!
INT- HOSPITAL- PRUE’S HOSPITAL ROOM- NIGHT. Prue slowly wakes up and opens her eyes to see Paige walking in with anxiety.
Paige: You’re up.
Prue sits up with a groan and nods her head.
Prue: Uh…are you okay?
Paige: Yeah, I’m fine…thanks to you. You got bruised a little.
Prue: Well, did I get Shax?
Paige: Shax?
Prue quickly realizes that she just said “Shax”, confusing Paige in the process.
Prue: Uh…
Piper, Leo, and Justin quickly walk in with concern on their faces.
Piper: Oh thank god!
She quickly hugs her oldest sister and Paige steps back for them. Just as the two break their hug, Piper slightly slaps Prue in the shoulder.
Prue: Ow!
Piper: What did you think you were doing? You had all of us worried!
Justin: We’re glad you’re okay, Prue.
Leo: How did this happen?
Prue: Look, I’m sorry---
Paige: It was my fault.
The three of them turn to her in wonder while Prue looks at her in confusion.
Paige: Prue saved me.
Piper: Saved you?
Prue: Uh, yeah.
Piper: From what?!
Paige: I don’t know what he or it was.
Leo: Was it Shax?
Justin: Shax?
Prue, Piper, and Leo share a look in worry.
Paige: Okay…who is Shax?
Justin: Was it the same person who killed Phoebe? If so---
Prue: We’re not sure who it was, Justin.
Piper sighs in worry as Paige notices this.
Paige: I’m going to go check on my boyfriend, Shane.
Prue: Wait. Your boyfriend was attacked too?
Paige: Yeah…he’s in a coma.
Piper: Oh…god. I’m so sorry---
Paige: It’s going to be okay. The doctors say he’ll wake up soon.
Piper: Uh, quick question.
Paige: Yes?
Piper: How did you get in here? I mean, usually hospitals wait for a family member to see someone before anyone else.
Paige: Yeah. I had to lie and tell them Prue is my sister.
Piper: Oh…
Paige: But anyways, thank you.
Prue: You’re welcome.
Paige walks out of the room, leaving Piper, Leo, and Justin.
Piper: Okay. Are you going to be okay, Prue?
Prue: Yeah I think so. I’m just a little bruised up. And right now, I’m more concerned about Paige.
Justin: Why?
Prue: Un…Justin, can you go see if you can find my doctor, please? He’s Doctor Lang.
Justin: No problem.
He walks away with a nod of his head and goes out of the room.
Piper: Okay. Now spill it. What happened?
Prue: I was just out driving to get my mind off of…Phoebe and I saw Paige run out of a building. I went to help her, but that’s when Shax appeared and she…orbed.
Piper: She orbed?
Leo: That doesn’t make any sense. And why would Shax go after you now? The Source knows that he’s broken the power of three.
Piper: Unless he wasn’t going after Prue from the get-go. Paige said her boyfriend was attacked too so that must mean Shax was really after her. The question is why.
Prue: She orbed so that must mean she’s a whitelighter.
Piper: Yeah but I doubt the Source would send Shax after a whitelighter. Am I right, Leo?
Leo: Right. Whitelighters are usually only attacked by darklighters.
Prue: My question is why he would attack her.
Voice: That’s what I wanna know.
The sisters and Leo turn to see Inspector Cortez looking at them.
Prue: Inspector.
Inspector Cortez: Hello all of you. I just want to make sure that you’re okay and to let you know that we have put together that the same person who killed your sister and Dr. Griffiths is the same person who attacked Ms. Matthews and her boyfriend.
Piper: Oh really?
The inspector nods his head as Piper shoots Prue a death glare.
Prue: Okay. Thank you for telling us Inspector.
He nods his head and walks out of the room, leaving Prue, Piper, and Leo with nervousness plastered on their faces.
INT- HALLIWELL MANOR- LIVING ROOM- NIGHT. Prue, Piper, and Leo walk in with restlessness on their faces.
Prue: Oh…I really wish Shax would get enough of attacking me.
Piper: You should get enough of being attacked by Shax.
Prue: What’s that supposed to mean?
Piper: Prue, you risked your life…again!
Prue: I didn’t have a choice, Piper.
Piper: Didn’t you?
Prue: Sure I could’ve let him kill Paige. That would’ve been better, you think?!
Piper shakes her head in disbelief as Leo looks between them, sensing the slight tension.
Prue: Okay. I’m sorry, okay? I’m sorry that I scared you guys. I just didn’t want any more people getting killed.
Piper: I know, Prue, but it’s different now. There are only two of us.
Prue: Exactly which is why I want you, Leo, to see if you can check with the Elders about Paige and find out why Shax attacked her.
Leo: Gotcha.
He orbs out, leaving Piper shaking her head in disbelief and Prue beginning to walk away. Piper starts walking behind her.
Piper: Okay. What are we going to do about Shax?
They begin walking up the stairs.
Prue: We’re going to need to get the vanquishing spell for him. Leo said that before time was reset, you and I vanquished Shax by ourselves. So we can do it again.
They reach the bedroom floor and walk towards the attic.
Piper: Yeah, but it’s different this time. I mean, we don’t have our powers.
They begin walking up the stairs towards the attic.
Prue: But we’re still witches, which mean we should be able to vanquish Shax with the spell.
Piper: Should? Prue---
Prue: We got this, Piper. Trust me.
They walk into the attic and go towards the Book of Shadows. Prue begins flipping through the pages of the Book of Shadows.
Piper: And what about the girl? I mean, she saw Shax, right?
Prue: Yeah, but oddly…she didn’t act out of it or anything. She seemed to only care about making sure her boyfriend and I were okay.
Piper: Hmm. Remind you of someone?
Piper gives a sad smile at Prue who gives a sad smile back at her.
INT- HALLIWELL MANOR- LIVING ROOM- NIGHT.
Prue walks toward Piper and hands her a teacup.]
Prue: Here. It’s chamomile.
Piper: Thanks, I’ve had three cups.
Prue takes a seat on the floor beside Piper.
Prue: Thanks.
She takes a sip and sets it aside.
Piper: Doesn't seem real, does it?
Prue: Not at all. I mean, what are we gonna do with all of her stuff?
Piper: I don't know. Sell them, I guess.
Prue: Unless you want it.
Piper: No.
She holds hands with Piper.
Prue: We're gonna get through this, you know that right Piper. We just have to stick together.
Leo orbs into the room.
Piper: Well?
Leo: Well, they don't know anything about her, so she's definitely not a white-lighter.
Prue: Are they sure? I mean, she orbed, Leo.
Leo: Yeah, they can't explain it.
Both Prue and Piper stand up.
Piper: How is it possible that they don't kn---
CRASH
The girls and Leo look up in slight fear and take off towards the attic.
INT- HALLIWELL MANOR- ATTIC- NIGHT. Prue, Piper, and Leo walk in to see a demon stuck in the crystal cage.
Prue: Oh! Well, I thought something serious up here happened, but I guess it’s just a lousy low-level demon.
Piper: He’s a demon none the less.
Prue: What are you doing here?
Demon: I came to attack you before you reconstitute your circle.
Piper smirks at him and shakes her head.
Piper: Hello! Have you not heard the news here? The power of three is gone!
Demon: But the Source said you might reconstitute the power of three…that’s why he sent Shax after her.
Prue, Piper, and Leo look at each other in puzzlement.
Prue: That’s impossible.
The demon laughs at them with a sinister grin.
Piper: Oh my god.
She shakes her head and flicks her wrists, vanquishing the demon in a fiery display.
Prue and Leo look at her in confusion as she takes off towards the book.
Prue: Uh…Piper? What’s going on?
Piper: I'm going to ask Grams what's going on, actually.
Leo: Grams?
Piper: Mm-hmm. Your destiny still awaits, she says. There's a reason for everything, she says. So, it's time to summon her transparent butt back here and find out exactly what that reason is.
Prue: Okay, but what should---
Piper: Here these words. Hear my cry spirit from the other side. Come to me, I summon thee. Cross now the Great Divide!
She lets out a semi-satisfied sigh. Grams appears in a bright light.
Grams: Piper? Why are you calling? P-Prue, wha-what's going on?
Piper: Grams, why does the Source think that the Charmed Ones can be reconstituted?
Grams: I do - I don't know what you're talking about.
Piper: You know what, Grams? You were a lousy liar when you were alive, and now as a ghost, you're worse.
Prue: Grams. We deserve to know what’s going on.
Grams: I can't. I'm sworn to secrecy.
Prue: By who?
Patty: By me.
Patty appears right next to Grams in a bright light.
Patty: By me.
Piper: Mom?
INT- HALLWELL MANOR- FOYER- NIGHT. Cortez and Darryl enter the manor. Cortez is holding a flashlight.
Darryl: You can't just walk in here like this.
Cortez stops, beginning to look around him.
Cortez: Search warrant says I can.
Darryl: What the hell are you looking for?
Cortez: Do you really expect me to believe you don't know, Inspector? Follow me and keep your voice down.
He continues searching throughout the house.
INT- HALLIWELL MANOR- ATTIC- NIGHT. Patty is explaining to her daughters as she paces.]
Patty: We didn't tell anybody because we were afraid that there would be reprisals, afraid that, you girls would be denied your powers. Your birthright. It happened one night when your father and I decided to try to save our marriage. But that was on the same day that I had made a spell to give me Sam’s whitelighter powers so that I can heal him from a darklighter attack.
Prue: Sam? The guy from the lake?
Piper: So wait. Because of you having Sam power’s when you and dad…she became a what-half whitelighter?
Patty nods her head at them.
Grams: Of course she didn’t switch powers with Sam like you did with Leo, Piper. She made a spell to have Sam’s powers and keep her own.
Piper: Mom…you could’ve wrote that in the Book. It would’ve been easier.
Patty: I’m sorry, sweetie.
Piper: But continue.
Patty: Prue, you were a little older and Piper, you were a toddler. You both just thought Mommy got a little fat.
She smiles at them.
Patty: You never knew I was pregnant.
Grams: I was the only one who knew.
Patty: And Victor, obviously.
Grams: Right. Well, yes, of course.
Patty: We wanted to keep the baby, of course. But mother -
Grams: Well, I - I knew it would be disastrous. There were only supposed to be three charmed ones, not four. The Elders would’ve been angry and they already didn’t like Sam and Patty’s close relationship.
Prue: Why hasn’t dad told us this?
Patty: I made him promise not to…sometimes I think it was harder for him than me to keep the secret. He didn’t like abandoning you three, let alone his fourth daughter.
Prue and Piper look at their mother and grandmother in disbelief.
Patty: So, that's why we had to - why we decided… to give the baby up. Victor, Sam, and I took her to a local church as soon as she was born. And we asked the nun there to find a home for her, and she found one. A very, very good home.
Grams: Yes.
Leo: Explains why the Elders didn't know about her.
He looks at the sisters.
Prue: All right, hold it. Are you telling me, that that girl, an innocent, is really… our sister?
Patty: Your baby sister, which makes her a sister witch. Well, actually, not yet anyway. Not until all three of you are here together by the Book. Just like before.
Grams: Charmed. Again.
Cortez walks into the attic, seeing the two ghosts there. Everyone is a bit stunned. Darryl is right behind him.
Cortez: Well, I'll be damned.
INT- HALLIWELL MANOR- ATTIC- NIGHT.
Piper: Darryl, do something!
Darryl: He's a cop, Piper. And he's got a search warrant.
Cortez: And believe me, I've found what I've been searching for.
Prue: Okay Inspector, just put the gun down. There is a good explanation for all of this.
Cortez looks at her, waiting for an answer.
Prue: Feel free to chime in anytime, guys.
Cortez: My whole life, I suspected evil magic was real, that there was something more. I've seem too many horrible things in the job to suspect otherwise, not the least of which are the two murders that happened here.
Piper: Wait. Are you accusing us?
Cortez: I've just begun to accuse you, lady!
Grams: All right, fine. You caught us. Congratulations. So what are you gonna do about it? Shoot us?
Prue: Hey! Not all of us are dead, remember?
Leo: All right, look, you can't arrest us, especially not them. Nobody will ever believe you.
Cortez: Maybe not at first. I'm putting this whole place under constant surveillance. I'm taping your every move. Sooner or later, I'll catch you doing something uh, supernatural, and then---
Darryl knocks Cortez out with the butt of his gun. He falls to the floor.
Darryl: I think you've been through enough today, huh?
Piper: Thank you.
Prue walks over to Darryl.
Prue: Darryl, you need to get out of here. We don't want you to take the fall for this.
Darryl: No, it's okay. Leo, how about you take Cortez to his place?
Leo: Gotcha.
He walks over to Cortez and quickly orbs out with him.
Darryl: I’m going to go make sure Cortez thinks this is all a dream. Call me if you need anything.
Darryl walks out of the attic, leaving the sisters, Grams, and Patty.
Prue: Alright, thank you Darryl.
Piper: Okay, well this is way too much for us to handle.
Prue: Way too much.
Patty: Nobody can blame you for being angry, girls.
Piper: Angry? Yeah, we’re angry.
Prue: Um, I'm confused and you know what? This - this is just crazy.
Piper: You cannot float in here after all these years and go, "Oh gosh, I forgot, by the way, you've got a sister." Especially not today of all days.
Patty: I know it's a lot, my daughters. More than anybody should have to deal with, but you're going to have to deal with it the best way you know how. Losing Phoebe, learning about another sister... this is your path. This is your destiny. Get angry at it, cry about it, but don't fight it. Or it'll consume you.
Grams: Come on, Patty. The rest is up to them.
Grams and Patty disappear.
Female Voice: Hello!
Prue and Piper look up in wonder and confusion.
Prue: Who could that be?
Piper: I don’t know, but I’m going to go find out. You stay here and check the book on Shax.
She walks away, leaving Prue going through the book.
INT- HALLIWELL MANOR- LIVING ROOM- NIGHT. Piper walks down the stairs to see Paige standing near the grandfather clock with nervousness on her face.
Piper: Hello.
Paige: Hi…um…I didn’t mean to just barge in here.
Piper: Um, it’s okay.
Paige: I came by to…well, I don’t know really.
Piper: Well, do you need something to drink?
Paige: No, I’m fine.
Piper: Right…uh…you can sit down if you want. I just gotta run up to talk to Prue.
Prue walks down the stairs.
Prue: I’m here. What’s---
Paige: Hi.
Prue: Paige…you’re here.
Piper: Yes…
Paige: I really don’t know why I came here.
Prue: Well, how’s your boyfriend?
Paige: He’s doing okay…he’s just a little roughed up from that thing.
Prue nods her head and begins giving Piper an anxious glare.
Prue: Paige…I think you should sit down.
Paige: Oh boy…every time someone starts with that phrase, it’s usually followed by something bad. I think I’ll just stand.
Piper looks at Prue in wonder.
Paige: Piper…I’ve seen you at your club. It’s pretty great.
Piper: Thanks.
Piper: It’s nice to meet you.
She offers out her hand to Paige who shakes it and the chandelier above them begins shaking.
Prue, Piper, and Paige just stare on as a blue light emits around them. After a few moments, it stops shaking and the light disappears.
Paige: Okay. What was that?
Prue: She needs to know, Piper.
Piper: Okay but be gentle about it.
Prue: Look, I know that this is strange but you are---
She pauses as she feels a slight chill and feels a presence.
Prue: Okay…something is about to happen.
The front doors of the manor blow open and a mini tornado flies through, knocking everyone down to the floor.
The mini tornado disappears, leaving Shax standing near the grandfather clock. He slouches his right shoulder to prepare his arm.
Leo orbs in at the same time, just as Shax begins to throw his arm around. Leo quickly hops on his back, preventing him from attacking.
Leo: Go! Go upstairs!
Prue helps up herself, followed by Piper and Paige. The three run upstairs as Leo tries to stop Shax.
Just as the girls get out of sight, Shax tosses Leo off of his back and into the sunroom.
INT- HALLIWELL MANOR- ATTIC- NIGHT. Piper and Paige run in, followed by Prue. Piper leads Paige to the Book of Shadows and as Prue stands in the middle of them.
The Book of Shadow’s broken triquetra lights up and becomes one again.
Paige: Uh…what was that?
Piper: Never mind that. We need the Shax vanquishing spell.
Prue begins flipping through the pages and she quickly stops to see the Shax vanquishing spell.
Prue: Okay, Paige. We need you to say this spell out loud with us, okay?
Paige looks at them in confusion.
Paige: Spell? What are you guys? Witches?
Piper: Well, we hope you are too.
The attic door blows into pieces as Shax’s mini tornado flies into the attic.
Prue/Piper/Paige: Evil winds that blow, that which forms below…
The tornado dies down to reveal Shax who begins to look up in agony.
Prue/Piper/Paige: No longer may you dwell, death takes you with this spell!
Shax yells in agony, just before he blows up, leaving nothing behind.
Prue: It worked.
Piper: Thank god.
Paige: Okay…what just happened?
Piper: Uh…we just vanquished Shax.
Prue: Together.
Paige looks at them in shock as she shakes her head.
Paige: What have you guys turned me into?
Paige turns and runs out the attic and out of the manor.
Piper: Paige?
Prue: Wait.
Prue and Piper start following her, but realize that she is already gone. They sigh as they hear her footsteps getting further away.
