Hi everyone. I've come back after a long time being away from the forum. I just didn't really like what it was like for the last 5 or so years, but I've been snooping and see that there are positive changes lately. I do miss chatting here, but my time is short. I'll have about 10 minutes a day to be able to visit right now between working and raising 2 kiddos. I thought I'd try here first and fill out this wee questionaire. 1. How long have you been a Charmed fan? I remember catching bits about it when Season 3 aired, but I didn't actually get into the show until Season 5. The first episode I saw was Sense and Sensability. I then quickly caught up with reruns that were always on at the time. 2. Have you seen (a) every episode more than once, (b) every episode at least once, (c) most of the episodes, (d) fewer than half of the episodes? B. I've seen a lot of earlier episodes twice. Season 7 onwards I haven't watched as much. Most of Season 8 I've only watched the once. 3. Do you still watch Charmed (on TV, online, video or DVD)? If yes, do you watch (a) every day, (b) once or twice a week, (c) a few times a month, (d) a few times a year? D. Not so much anymore. It doesn't help that my husband doesn't really like the show. He caught one of the worst episodes ever the first time! 4. How long have you been in the online fandom? Erm, I think since 2008. It's been a looooong time! 5. How do you feel about the finale and the way the show ended? (a) loved it, (b) liked it, (c) had mixed feelings, (d) disliked it, (e) hated it? C. I didn't mind the flash forward part to be honest. I know everyone else did, but that really wasn't the bit that wound me up. I didn't like that Christy was killed and I couldn't stand Kaley Cucuo's acting in it. I also didn't like Piper's character in that episode. 6. Rank the seasons from most to least favourite. 3, 4, 2, 1, 6, 5, 7, 8 (it's been a long time since I've seen a few of the seasons so I've gone with how I feel overall about them) 7. Your five favourite and five least favourite episodes? I think I'd actually have to get back to you with this one. This is pretty much my top 5: dailytwocents.com/top-5-charmed-episodes/8. Your favourite characters (as many as you wish). I loved Piper in the beginning. Towards the end she wasn't the Piper that I remembered. Early Phoebe was great and I loved Prue. I couldn't quite get into Paige for some reason. I really loved Darryl until they ruined his character towards the end and actually liked the idea of Billie and Chris. Shame those two characters couldn't quite turn out as well as they could have. 9. Which romantic pairings do you like? (pick as many as you like) None of them really. I did like Piper and Leo to begin with. Andy and Prue were good, but they were together for such a short time. Most of my pairings that I prefer are crossover pairings! Dean from Supernatural and Piper from Charmed is one of my guilty pleasures. 10. Do you read and/or write fanfiction? Any particular type? Do you follow any of the virtual seasons? Yes. I've written a few virtual next generation shows. My current one is Progeny: Angels and Demons, which I got a renewed passion for recently. Over the last couple of years, I've written mostly crossover or Supernatural stories. I have followed Charmed: Heritage, but my time has been so short I need to catch up. Some of the stories at Shadow Tales I followed, but they've not been updated in a long time. 11. Are you a fan of any other witch themed shows? I really liked Witches of East End--gutted that it was cancelled. My favourite has to be Sabrina the Teenage Witch  12. What are your other favourite shows, if any? Supernatural, Arrow, Grey's Anatomy, Prison Break (the earlier seasons), Criminal Minds (even without Hotch), Once Upon a Time (the earlier seasons, although Season 6 is ok), The Big Bang Theory, NCIS, Quantico, The 100, Game of Thrones, the One Chicago franchise, Supergirl, American Horror Story (even this season)....I'm a TV and entertainment writer by trade, so have to stay on top of so many TV shows! 13. I think I found the site while Googling for places with other Charmed fans. I might have come across The Charmed Sons first and then came onto this one. 18. Do you like the early or later seasons of charmed. a) Season 1-3 b) season 1-4 c) season 5-8 d) all of them e) a mix of both B. I like some of the other seasons, like some of the episodes, but the early days are my favourite. I do find that with a lot of shows, though! |

WELCOME BACK, LEXI!!! So very glad that you've decided to rejoin! I hope you'll enjoy our much-more-peaceful, much-more friendly Cafe as much as we do.
And I'm *so* glad that you've decided to go back to working on P:A&D - I was afraid that it was going to be another one of those great virtual series that get started but never get finished.

A - every episode more than once.

D - a few times a year. I've just finished the entire series all over again so it will probably be next year when I watch a few episodes here and there now.

B - liked it. It seems a lot of people have said they hated it but I was really happy that they all got their happily ever after.

I like all of them, but I would probably have to say Paige purely because despite being adopted and all the rest of it, she holds no resentment and fully embraces being a witch. Her commitment to Magic School and helping the Magical Community out all demonstrate this.

Again, there is a few I could choose from but Piper and Leo will always be my favourite.

Hello everyone! I just want to warn you that I'm sorry if I make mistakes, but I'm a French girl so English isn't my first language. But I'm just in love with that culture, and language, both British and American (less American maybe) and I take a lot of class last year (8 hours by week last years) than this year, so sorry for the possible mistakes!
1. How long have you been a Charmed fan?
I suppose since I have 10/11 years old. The show started the years I was born and ended when I was about seven, so I started watch Charmed very late.
2. Have you seen (a) every episode more than once, (b) every episode at least once, (c) most of the episodes, (d) fewer than half of the episodes?
C, I think I see almost all the episodes but I'm not sure so let's say C!
3. Do you still watch Charmed (on TV, online, video or DVD)? If yes, do you watch (a) every day, (b) once or twice a week, (c) a few times a month, (d) a few times a year?
D. Not so much anymore. First because I don't like watch english serie in French (the voice do not fit usually) and I can't find any episode in VOSTFR. But also because I watch generally when it pass at T.V!

To be honest, it's the first time that I'm officially in online fandom for Charmed so, not so long.
5. How do you feel about the finale and the way the show ended? (a) loved it, (b) liked it, (c) had mixed feelings, (d) disliked it, (e) hated it?
C. I know that most of you hated the flash forward, and understand it and agree on some point with you. But I liked to see the next generation, at least, their kids, which end up by inspiring people for fiction, and their later life. I also loved some guest star like Patty, Penny, Wyatt and Chris. But I have to admit I hate Kaley in dramatic acting and I hated Christy more! I don't know, it's like the writers wanted us to hate them.
8. Your favourite characters (as many as you wish).
I love Paige so much. I like the fact that she enjoyed magic, and protect the innocent. That she much more involve in magic than Phoebe or Piper. She was fun, smart and kind. She bring something to the show even if Rose wasn't the best actress in the show. I also liked Phoebe, not the men hunting one. Maybe because she was the one who enjoy being a witch, who accepted her destiny. And Henry! I think that he was a great character. The kind of character who didn't need magic to be brave, to do great things, good things. That even without magic, he can help. Also, I liked him because he was one of the rare (maybe the only one) who accept that her wife is a witch, and that her role is to help innocent and understand that. Oh, and in the comic, I really appreciate Phoebe, in the season 9.
9. Which romantic pairings do you like? (pick as many as you like)
Paige and Henry, despite that their relationship was too fast. I mean, he accepted her, and loved her despite her nature. And in Charmed, any mortal accept it like he did.
10. Do you read and/or write fanfiction? Any particular type? Do you follow any of the virtual seasons?
I'm actually working on a next generation fanfiction, in script and english. I wanted to impose to myself a challenge. But right now, only the character of Tamora Mitchell is over and I'm working on the others. Maybe I will ask some advices to the members.
I love read next generation fanfiction for Charmed, and all type of fictions for another fandom.
11. Are you a fan of any other witch themed shows?
I liked Witches of East End, but it was cancelled. I looked few episodes of Secret Circles but I didn't enjoyed it so much. I watch a show with witch, but they're not the center of the serie, even if they're still important to the show. The Originals if you know!
12. What are your other favourite shows, if any?
Yep, my first show, and will probably being my favourite show, that I love more than everything is Teen Wolf, especially since it became more dark, more adult. I also watch The Flash, my other favourite show, because the actors are so talented and I love this story. The same for Legends of Tomorrow, especially Wenthworth Miller and Dominic Purcell and the season 2 is awesome! Supergirl, too, but I prefer the season two. After, Grey's Anatomy. Ah, and the Originals too! It's an awesome show, very dark but I enjoyed watch it.

24 Favorite Charmed Character:
Paige is independently fierce and headstrong yet has a likeable quirk to her attitude. I love S5-S7 Paige best as I think it really shows her growing in her own weirdly fascinating journey. Favorite Season:
Season 5. Who doesn't like a double premiere and finale? Personally, this season has the most creativity, dedication (they knew what they wanted the whole way through), and tied up a lot of plots before starting another major plot whilst still keeping it fresh with the weekly demon. Favorite Episode:
Season 2's Pardon My Past. I love time travel drama and this episode has a little bit of everything. History, action scenes, magical effects, sexiness, wickedness, betrayal, love, etc.... Needles to say, I really love this ep! Other shows you watch:
Once Upon A Time, The Vampire Diaries & The Originals, Sleepy Hollow, Withces of East End, All DC and Marvel TV shows, Heroes, and last but not least, my latest obsessions, Pretty Little Liars. Anything else you want to tell us!
